If you are standing outside in the dark and a light, even a small amount of light from a TV screen will allow you to see inside the room where it is turned on. Try it at your house. All he had to do is walk up to the window and see the little boy on the bed playing games and Aunt trying to see who was out there.
He’s been so desensitized. I wonder if he has a history. Or if this is his first offense. Just remember these people have Guns pointed at them for no reason all the time🙃 They become so disassociated. Most officers go in just wanting to make a difference. Tragic world we live in. No one feels safe.
Reading the comments there’s a lot of emotion involved with this incident understandably. But you have to consider this situation just as the jury will and look at what happened. The cop responded to a suspicious with an open door, the inside of the home is in disarray and the door is open when they get there, so now they are investigating a potential burglary. No police department in America trains officers to immediately begin announcing their presence, you check the exterior of the residence for signs of foul play stealthily, then proceed to check the interior, now before officers enter a home they will then announce their presence. This seems to be just a horribly unfortunate scenario, but I don’t see this cop getting a murder charge based on the totality of the circumstances.
In which case he should have announced himself at the door loudly knocking and saying it was a welfare check, if needed then called for backup. He was hardly being discreet as the homeowner heard him loud and clear. If it was burglars he could have been shot point blank through the window
@@Jmo4567 I feel like you didn’t read a word I said. No officer will announce themselves first while conducting a burglary investigation. The situation changed once they got on scene, it was no longer a welfare check given what was observed.
@@675_Dreamer if he thought it was an active burglary he should have called for backup. In any case, he was loud as hell and shining his torch and creating enough noise for the home owner to hear him over the video game she was playing. IF there was a burglary he did not state that to his collegue and he could have been shot through the window.
@@Jmo4567 he had backup with him. I’ve seen the video and he wasn’t being terribly loud. How else is he supposed to look into a dark window without a flashlight? You may not agree but the officer didn’t do anything officers all across America aren’t trained to do. He saw the victim with a gun, perceived it to be pointed at him, and acted to defend himself (so he thought). Still, the law is clear, and if you look at this objectively it will be hard to charge him with murder.
Given all the evidence just shows that he had the urge to kill and it's no doubt in my mind that that's what he wanted to do and did pulling up to the house.

How was she a threat? Police got to do better.
He Did Not Check The Room or Do Anything That Police are supposed to have Done, But He Keeps Making Excuses for Not Knowing How to do His Job
This Was Bad Judgement on His Part... He Should be ASHAMED and Fired And Sued for The Damage than Was Done Here
He so nervous he keep picking that water cup taking a sip applying pressure.
It would of been to his best interest to not take the witness stand. By him going up there and opening his mouth, it removed all doubt of his culpability and remorseless attitude.
You killed the babysitter
The neighbors are messed up and Xion needs counseling
Seem very not remorseful of his actions 🤔
Hopefully the nosey neighbor feels regret for making that phone call to the trigger happy cop!!!
The neighbor called in a welfare check because open doors. He was not being a nosey neighbor
He does I saw a video of him talking about it and blaming himself for it.
Looking like John Ritter’s little brother
With my neighbors I can nock on their door and for what I'm hearing it was more than one person outside. Men's needs to take care of the neighbors 2 or 3 Men's hey we're going to check on this sister make sure she's good!.
@@ichangedit5847 and ordered straight off of WISH!🙄
I HOPE THAT THE SOU DS OF WHAT HE HEARD, COMES BACK TO HAUNT HIM FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE!AND HIS CONSCIENCE MAKES HIM RELIVE THIS FATAL EVENT OVER AND OVER AGAIN, UNTIL IT MAKES HIM GO MAD!
If you are standing outside in the dark and a light, even a small amount of light from a TV screen will allow you to see inside the room where it is turned on. Try it at your house. All he had to do is walk up to the window and see the little boy on the bed playing games and Aunt trying to see who was out there.
He said that it was verified the cars 🚗 🤣 belong to the owner
I am curious as to why there were no charges on Officer Carol Darch. Other then not being the one that pulled the trigger she is just as guilty IMO.
Never should have been policing anything PERIDOT!!
Callous disregard for life comes to mind.
These are shows, they already made the deal..
Dude, you shouldn't have testified. Thank you.
Is it me are do it seem like Aaron Dean is getting frustrated and cocky. Justice For Atatiana .
He was..... He feels he did nothing wrong.
The dead beat judge sentenced a cop watcher the day this creep was sentenced
He’s been so desensitized. I wonder if he has a history. Or if this is his first offense. Just remember these people have Guns pointed at them for no reason all the time🙃 They become so disassociated. Most officers go in just wanting to make a difference. Tragic world we live in. No one feels safe.
Render aid??? He made the whole scenario up as he went along and that's the best he could do after three years?
Self defense my butt
He never identifies himself, climbing through windows
This is terrible coverage. You absolutely cannot hear what is being asked.
Given all the evidence just shows that he had the urge to kill and it's no doubt in my mind that that's what he wanted to do and did pulling up to the house.
As illogical as this cop is, he's going to get off!
AMERIKKKA the police is the want of them not all police is bad!
