Swiss coffee is everywhere in my house. I added crown molding around all ceilings and painted both the trim and ceilings in matte Swiss Coffee. Now I can change my wall colors at will, always leaving my precious Swiss Coffee as is.
New England Brown is beautiful with that reddish undertone that makes it looks so rich. James you're getting me to like creamy colors like Swiss Coffee.
You and Nick Lewis are 'The Best'!! After hours of searching, searching more ... I found Nick, he added you to my equation and finally I have the best of the resources I'm looking for!!! Heartfelt ( and epic less stress)Thank You🙏🏻
My favorite complements for Swiss Coffee are 1. New England Brown and 2. Steam. The first feels natural, elegant and traditional; and both are very sophisticated choices, imho. I like the subtle contrast (warmer/cooler) between the two lighter hues.
You just solved my biggest problem--color palette for my new place. My interior designer brother-in-law stopped my "let me overthink this" process and focused me on Swiss Coffee. I'd already settled on Morning Dew for my bedroom and then, here you come with the rest of the palette! Thank you. Now, if I could just stop second guessing....
Swiss Coffee and Steam is my favorite duo. I'm looking for something that coordinates with SW Repose which has a Cocoa Glaze over top, making it a beautiful kitchen cabinet color. Island cabinets are Black with a subtle red bleed through. Have a suggestion?
Thank you!!! I just started painting my interior w Swiss Coffee (so lovely). The TV wall is Black Beauty. Now I have some other fun accent colors to sample.
Love this fantastic five concept. Thank you for an innovative array of pairings. The trim and doors of my entire house are CC 40 cloud white. I am having a really hard time figuring out lighter pairings. Cloud White is a popular color and it would be fabulous if you could suggest a selection of colors to pair with it.
I want to use Swiss coffee throughout my 350 sq ft apartment. It's 1 bedroom plus den so you can imagine how small the rooms are. I also want navy kitchen cupboards with gold hardware. What do you think?
When I was trying to choose between White Dove and Swiss Coffee for my condo I was torn. I liked both. I ended up going with White Dove, and then I thought I should have gone with Swiss Coffee. In the end I came to like White Dove, and all is fine. I am sure though Swiss Coffee would have been fine too.
@@kathleenmay3530 I like White Dove just fine, make sure you are south facing because it can look bleak in north facing. It took me awhile to get used to it because I had a yellowy beige for years so I was in shock when I saw it. It's creamy white with some green undertones at times. White Dove looks great with the sage greens, brass of gold hardware, it's a versatile colour
Is Swiss Coffee a good choice for my open concept living, dining and kitchen, as well as kitchen cabinets, with not a ton of natural light? I've only got a few small windows in that space.
Hi first let me say love your videos , they opened my eyes to see and understand paint and design in a away I never thought possible. However I just moved in a new home and the interior is pretty much finished. Outside I wanna incorporate nova scotia blue by benjamin moore , I already have them on the doors . Can you do a fast five with nova scotia blue ? Thank you in advance
Swiss Coffee - the higher class version of "Navajo White". High-Hide white tinted to match Swiss Coffee was my sister's go-to color for her rental properties. It's just warm enough to not feel sterile or harsh, but not a definite tint of anything.
I loved Coriander, too! Really nice vid, nicely presented and helpful. Thank you! Some constructive criticism? It would have been also helpful to see these colors when NOT bathed in perfect, glowing light. Not all of us live in such palatially lit quarters. Also, maybe you purposely steered away from the “sweet spot” of the low 60s LRV? But if I’m not mistaken, that’s what some designers like for a lot of rooms. At least mine did, years ago. Still, this was great, and oh! That Coriander!
My house is Swiss coffee… I want to paint my cabinets brown. Please help! Dark browns are sooo hard to pick from without looking too 70s or tacky I’m thinking sierra spruce or French roast
I think Coriander seed would look great with my rock fireplace. It's hard to find interesting colors for that. It would also possibly look good with my sage green walls (River Gorge Gray).
Morning Dew along with Swiss Coffee. Makes for a "Mighty" good day. Get it "Mighty" as in Mighty Board..lol....I like your joke better James, but seriously.. I love Morning Dew with Swiss Coffee.

I have to say that I loved Coriander. It really looked great with the gray furnishings and drapes. Sophisticated colour pairing to my eye.

After going back and forth for a month, I've finally decided on Swiss Coffee for my kitchen cabinets.

New England Brown was my favorite in this group. Thank you for sharing!
Awesome pairings! Looking forward to the Swiss Coffee deep dive!
Ooooooo, New England Brown! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hope you like Morning Dew. We used it in our last house's entry hall. Gorgeous with sunlight!

What a beautiful pallet! I’ll take one of each, please!
Thank you!!! I just started painting my interior w Swiss Coffee (so lovely). The TV wall is Black Beauty. Now I have some other fun accent colors to sample.
Yesss, that's a great canvas for fun accents!
Tranquility/Swiss coffee!!❤️❤️❤️
I have Dovewing as the main color in my house. Would it be any difference using Swiss coffee in the master bedroom?

Great timeless colors
I'm going even MORE daring for an accent wall to our swiss coffee everywhere...I have picked the Grandfather Clock Brown.
I need to paint my living room ceiling. I will have to give a look at the paint color Steam and see what I think. Thanks!
Yes! Good choice for a ceiling!
@@thepaintpeople Thank you!
Can I have a darker version (1 or 2 shades) of Swiss Coffee mixed at the paint shop?
I like morning dew, I’m painting my sunroom/office Swiss Coffee which has high slanted ceiling perhaps I’ll use morning dew. 👍
Ooo Fun!
Tranquility looks very pretty
Doesn't it?
I used Swiss Coffee semi gloss for my doors and trim. Swiss Coffee flat for my ceiling. I used Bone White for my walls. I love it!!
Love to hear that Claudia!

I am trying to decide on the exact same thing! Any input?
Same and up until now Im still torn between the two 😅 I think I’ll go for white dove too coz some of my accent is boothbay gray

I love Swiss Coffee can read a little green hence the reasons he is coordinating colors with green undertones which won’t bring out the green in SC.
Haha! Been there! Embrace the choice you made!

Yes, absolutely
Hmmm. Tranquility is now a contender for the bathroom walls. Love your eye for color, James! And, yes, you are “punny.”
Bring on the dad jokes! lol

Can you do a video on rooms with a chair rail please
Great pairings!

What color goes well with BM linen white?
Steam is nice. Lighter than i thought
New England Brown…has both the look and feel of suede to me.
I love these colors!
Thanks Paula!
Yeyyyyyy! No Agreeable Gray. Thank you. Love this colors.
PLEASE HELP! What would go with BM Woodlawn Blue?
Morning Dew along with Swiss Coffee. Makes for a "Mighty" good day. Get it "Mighty" as in Mighty Board..lol....I like your joke better James, but seriously.. I love Morning Dew with Swiss Coffee.
I LIKE MORNING DEW !!
😀
Whats swiss coffee look 50%
Darker
My favorite is New England Brown. I have an affinity for violet-red leaning hues. Like my BenMo pun? Affinity? heehee. #punny
You betcha lol!
I love Swiss coffee but none of the colors you mentioned looked good to me.
No browns for me
