It’s been almost three years now since you helped me choose a new color for our Pandemic Painting Project. I cannot recommend your process enough! You are the Paint Whisperer, and you recommended colors I would never have picked myself, but are perfect for our unique needs. I wanted our walls to just “go away” and I LOVE the results!!
Awesomeness!!! I remember you and I’m thankful everything turned out beautifully in your home. Thank you for the kind words and sharing your experience with others:)
My son has just used it for his bedroom and hallway. Looks good and allows for stronger colour in the furnishings and accessories. In the bedroom he's paired it with a charcoal above the picture rail. In the hall he has chosen a chocolate/bronze colour wallpaper on one wall only. Looks great 👍
We surveyed homes on the market around hot market cities (we're looking to leave Florida). White (often glaringly bright) kitchens were the overwhelming choice of repainted or newly built homes, especially for remodeled and updated homes (countertops mostly brown, orange, cream mixtures; backspashes boring sameness, too). BUT the slighly pricier, color-conscious kitchens went warm or off white!). Carpets and greys colors are finally gone, but black and white kitchens seem to be appearing (especially black counters and white cabinets).
I would like to use BM Swiss Coffee for my walls. I have rustic cherry trim and want to keep it. I love how well it warmly pairs with BM Swiss Coffee. I would love to see a review on SW Black Fox. I'm considering it for a kitchen island.
Jacob what color walls would you recommend for selling an old apartment? Was thinking Swiss coffee with a bright white trim but that might not be right….
Don’t select a popular paint color instead select the best paint color that pairs with your fixed elements. Hard to help you without any visuals. I wish you the best!
Hard to say without any visuals of your cabinets, countertops, lighting and flooring. Could work assuming your ok with your interior walls mostly likely looking clean and more yellow assuming the cabinets are muted.
Cutting paints change the ratio this changes the paint color. I’ve never recommended or cut any paint more than 25 percent. If you want to go lighter then go with light cream or creamy off white.
I have been using swiss coffee for years on my trim and cabinets. I love it.
Swiss Coffee is a beautiful trim paint color, happy for you and thank you for sharing your experience.

What do you think of Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee? What paint color would you like me to do a future paint color review?

What color of white would you recommend for a home without much natural light?
I'll be using BM Swiss Coffee on my kitchen cabinets and trim, doors and ceiling. But I need a white to paint my walls and cannot decide which one.
One expert advised BM Simply White for trim, doors, etc. when using Swiss Coffee in the Kitchen Cabinets.
They did change their Formula 2 years ago
Where are you Jacob? I hope you are OK. I miss your reviews!
Hi there:) I’m doing great. I’ve been non stop busy with clients. No worries, I have a lot of videos coming starting next week.

Would you recommend using this color as a trim on the outside
Depends what your fixed elements are and what you pair with it.
What do you charge for a consult?
While swiss coffe go with beige glaze cabinets

I hear a LOT of people do swiss coffee at 75%

I tried that and got poor results. It just thins the paint and makes it hard to pair with trim as it's easily over powered.
DO A BASEMENT COLOR
Thank you!
Your welcome:)
Hi Jacob I am wondering does Swiss coffee suits for snowflake light grey floor?
