I agree on the adjustable shelves. I like to move & re organize things depending on items I acquire or get rid of. Just the little details of utilizing the whole floor to ceiling length, the depth of the shelves, etc make a huge difference. And yes, that lock on the door is a must! I love it ❤
This is one of the best closets I have seen, it is so organized. I do like the idea of that deep drawers to fit in your clothes and won’t be sticking out with the hangers! It turned out beautiful!!! Both my kids are grown and I turned the guest room into my walk in closet... I call it my she-shed 😜 and I can't tell you how much serenity and joy it brings me at the end of the day to be surrounded by an organized space. We spend so much on our items and like you said, " if you know, you know.." we owe it to them to take care of them. Congratulations!!! it's stunning and a wonderful space to change and grow over time!! Many blessings and love 🤩😍

I love your closet so much. My collection is no where near the size of yours but I had my hubby add a fingerprint lock on our bedroom door because that is the best idea. I also love how you store your SLG’s that’s exactly what I was looking for yay!!! ❤❤

If it’s a forever home I would splurge as well because custom closets are a one time deal and you want no regrets. I like how you don’t have the drawers with the surface on top like in your last closet because it does become a clutter zone and now everything is clean and secured in drawers. ❤

Hope you don’t mind me answering. Tape out the size of the unit on the floor, then if you want to add doors, put that tape on the floor too as if the doors were open. Also do that on the other side of the room (doors opened out/drawers open as if they were sticking out into the room). And then you will see how much space you have for an Island. Of course not all doors/drawers will all be open at the same time, but it will give you a feel for the room once the biggest pieces of furniture are in. Also this will help regarding socket 🔌 placement for and an Island/dressing table etc. Where you will want electrics for your beauty tools/hair tools/smart home devices. HTH
