I’ll second that. I think it’s a sign of wisdom and maturity when you can recognize the talent in a genre you aren’t really into or familiar with. Music transcends. And there’s some important bands and voices that I’m glad they’re reacting to and that they end up loving!

the house they did the video was set to be redone, so they told everyone to just go nuts, but the crowd did so much damage, Slipknot had to pay $ 150,000 to fix the area.

Corey Taylor has an unbelievable range and style. To some ppl it sounds like noise and screaming but NO ONE can shred their voice quite like he does. And he's fluid when going from his singing voice to his shred voice. He's unbelievably talented.

I read the song is about the singer having bad headaches. In the lyrics “I push my fingers into my eyes!” People often do this for temporary relief from the headache.

oh, I thought it was like "push my fingers into my eyes" because he is tired of seeing all this duality, and things and people not being what they seem. So when he does so the duality goe"s away and "slowly stosp the ache" but the migraine thing sounds more realistic.

Bro... I went to a slipKnot concert about 16 years... fucking amazing energy. Still feel it to this day when I listen to their music. And to give you insight on that experience... I'm a black man from East St Louis... thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Plan on going to another in the future.

C and R I have watched several of your videos and I enjoy them very much. I am happy you are open and diverse and are giving rock and metal a serious listen. I listen to all music and I appreciate so much. For the last 25 years I have been an avid listener. To be able to play with this skill and talent is simply incredible. Slipknot are talented, masters of their trade. Vocally, Corey Taylor is incredible. He can do it all. Sing, growl, scream, yell, rap and flow. This band is untouchable. Jim Root and Mick Thompson are outstanding guitarists and Joey Jordison is one of the greatest drummers of all time. I have an encyclopedia of music in my brain so if you ever need some great stuff to listen to just let me know. And keep it up you two. You will discover and fall in love with a lot of excellent bands and amazing songs.
Cory Taylor has a unique voice and a great range of styles. SNUFF by Slipknot is an example if hiw different he can sound.

I enjoy your reaction videos, long time metal head, it IS crazy and i can completely understand why people are put off by it but there is so much more behind the music, the lyrics and the emotion of the lyrics that people could possibly relate to, some just percieve it as noise, they are hearing it but just not listening.

Ok. I'm sure its been suggested a thousand times already, but you jave to do Slipknot - Spit It Out (live at the 2009 Download Festival). It really shows you what a live show is like, and Corey spits fire on that song.
Once you watch that, do Slipknot - Custer (Live). This will give you a feel for what their shows are like.
Also, if you want to hear Corey sing, check out Corey Taylor - Snuff (Live). He is also the lead singer of a band called Stone Sour. They are a more melodic band. With them, check out Bother and Through the Glass.

I really enjoy, your reactions. It's like waking up on Christmas, and unwrapping presents. So I wanted to leave a few other songs. Look up Gimme Chocolat by Babymetal. There a Japanese heavy metal band, very metal. It's 3 female singers, which are incredible to listen too. They add there own style to it. Another excellent band, is Jinjer from the Ukraine, stands out so much. All are very talented, but the lead singer. Tatiana is 5'2 or 5'4, she can change from soft to metal. So fast, look up Teacher, Teacher!, Vortex, Who is going to be the one, Perennial. All great songs, Denial from Sevendust is a excellent one.

I'm a 57 year old hard core metal head, and I really enjoy your videos. It's nice to see people get out of their comfort zone and look for things to bring us together rather than keep us apart. I was at a Behemoth, Lamb of God, and Slayer concert two years ago, and there was a super sexy black girl sitting in front of me. She wasn't just pretending either. She was singing every Lamb of God song they played. We ended up hanging out and taking pics together. If you're feeling brave, check out Behemoth "At the Left Hand ov God". They make Marilyn Manson look like a punk. Then, try Lamb of God "Redneck". You will love it.
