The drummer is Joey Jordison, he was with the band since they started and they fired him in 2013 because he had a sickness which caused his left leg to be damaged. He did get physical therapy but was not hired back and unfortunately died in July of 2021. The second drummer Slipknot has had is Jay Weinberg and he joined in 2014 and was recently fired in November of 2023. Slipknot's latest drummer is Eloy Casagrande of Sepultura.
@@matchu.j I literally listen to everything. When I was younger I was into super heavy metal, then classic metal, then rap, now everything. I have moments when I stay in a genre pocket for a while

@@matchu.j so I grew up listening to 90's rap, transitioned to the nu metal wave when I became a skater, transitioned into death/black metal, transitioned into classic metal, then into the rap scene at the time. Now I listened to everything lol

Yeah Slipknot certainly evolved beyond the first two albums. There is a whole ton of tracks out there for you to hear. Some favorites of mine are Before I forget, Vermillion, Sulfur, Dead Memories, Snuff, Psychosocial, Devil in I, Killpop, All Out Life, Unsainted and Solway Firth. Yes the Corey Tech N9ne track is called Wither and Corey also done a song with Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) look up Sound City From Can to Can't. Loved the reaction and subscribed. On this track is the original drummer Joey Jordison. He plays on this album and the next All Hope is Gone. After that it is Jay Weinberg but they just recently replaced him with Eloy Casagrande from Sepultura.
I was recommended vermillion as well and it's most likely next up. I also want to do that tech song and that Dave song !! Wasn't he the drummer in nirvana ? Damn joey was always my favorite member his mask and drumming was top notch! Sepultura? Only song I've heard from them is Chaos A.D
@@n2thealgorithm Yeah Dave is from Nirvana. Yes Joey was a spectacular drummer and sorely missed. Jay Weinberg was good but Eloy is a freaking beast can't wait until they drop some music with him.
@@n2thealgorithm For sure. He is named as the best Metal drummer doing it right now by many folks. He is certainly worthy of consideration. The drummer for Jinjer is stupid sick though. If you don't know about them react to Pisces live session sometime.
@@kennethbartlett4302 have you ever heard of this band called Bezerker ? They had this one damn song where the drummer plays out of his mind. Thought it was a drum machine for a minute
New sub here, good to see someone else who is willing to go out of theirs current comfort zone and explore something great. If you haven't been introduced to ska music let me invite your ears to Streetlight Manifesto : A Better Place A Better Time , is a great place to start. I can't promise that it will bring many subs but I can promise that it will make your playlist.
