As someone who grew up on metal and was bullied for it because it’s not “black people” music, this makes me really happy!!
Music makes your heart soar and puts a smile on your face. Even if it's "angry" music. I am happy to hear that this video made you happy because we should all listen to what we want, without worrying about social norms. I like just about every type of music unless it's religious or country music, so just do what makes you happy as long as it doesn't harm anyone else...which is pretty much the golden rule for life and works just as well for musical tastes.
Music is music. If it touches you in some way, it's doing it's job. It's there to make you feel something. Anything. It doesn't matter if it's "black music or white music or Latino music", it's all music and you like what you like, which can be any, all or none of it. I like everything because some artist put all of themselves into it for themselves and for others. Rock on everyone!

Doubt. I've been into metal for years, and the amount of reactionary, toxic mfs present in these scenes is immense and needs to be discussed. A lot of metalheads have been great to me, but just look at say black metal scenes for like 2 seconds and you'll discover a lot of problems. Not always a safe place for people if you don't wanna be called slurs.
