    Good point on the razor not shaving super close, I believe they mention about ingrown hairs not happening with this razor.

    Hi Heiko In my opinion, the best and most efficient SE razor is the Twig: uses inexpensive DE blades too. Enjoy your fresh, honest video presentations.

      Thank you. Twig is my favorite too.

      The Twig is a great razor, except it’s impossible to clean it thoroughly. Unless you take it completely apart, which is next to impossible.

      I have had by "Twig" for over two years and have never found in necessary to disassemble it. Just a little bit of mineral oil keeps my "Twig" working flawlessly.@@bobjones8321

    Nice shave Heiko. I never had good look with single edge razors including this one. Never got use to the different angle. Supply also has an adjustable version. I have a Yates Winning razor on order and love my Yates Merica razor. Have a great week. 👍🪒

    Thanks for the excellent review Hello..saves $$ from ordering one..had good results from the Parker Injector and a vintage Eversharp/Schick Hydro-magic. Also, getting great results using AC razors fron Yaqi and Shield with Pro-guard blades ..smooth as butter and amazing efficiency.

    Supply also sells different "plates" for this razor like the Rockwell! My favorite is the Comfort or the 2 dots, it is comparable to the SE just slightly more aggressive but very comfortable. I recommend to give it a try if interested! They're priced at $15. The order of aggression is as follows; Sensitive, SE, comfort, aggressive.

    • @Heiko-shaves
      @Heiko-shaves  6 месяцев назад

      That is interesting, I will look into that.

    • @Heiko-shaves
      @Heiko-shaves  6 месяцев назад

      I just went over to supply. They don't seem to have a Comfort. They have Sensitive which is milder then the SE plate that the razor cones with. They have Classic (slightly more aggressive than SE)and Aggressive. Which one should I order?

    • @tailhead
      @tailhead 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@Heiko-shaves my mistake, when I said comfort I meant the classic. The classic should be best! The aggressive tears my face apart hahaha

    Thanks for this Heiko. I’m curious about SE & injector razors lately. I’m waiting for the adjustable Parker you tried. My buddy likes this supply SE but he likes super mild razors. You confirmed this super mild review. I see why supply made the PRO that you can crank up some. My dad said he & his father uses schick injectors for ages back in the day.
    Lmao at the hungry vocal dog. 🐕 my little dog will come harass me if it’s after 6pm. “What’s the hold up with dinner!?!” Dogs can have such personalities.

      Hey man! Supply sells different plates if you want a more aggressive shave. I recommend the comfort setting as it's slightly more efficient than the SE

    Hey Heiko! I recently purchased off ebay one of those SE Supply injector razors. I received the razor, stand, brush, bottle of aftershave, two injector dispensers, and the leather case all for $43 total price! Unfortunately, I tried out the razor and it was like it didn't cut at all!! Everything was brand new, so I am not sure if it was the blade or not. I was not impressed. To be honest, its rare for me to get even a decent shave from an injector. I am wondering if today's blades aren't just that sharp. Nonetheless, I'll stick with my DE razors! Nothing beats those! Thanks for reviewing this razor! JimG

      I think your injector razor isn't broken. Mine is not very efficient either. The only single edge razor that I absolutely love is the Twig by Leaf.

  • @petekadenz9465

    I have one of these razors. I found you have to use quite a steep angle, which didn’t like. And I regularly got nicks despite the NikStop design.

  • @metalsoso5460
    @metalsoso5460 9 месяцев назад +1

    They make a face razor, but that is the all body razor. Even so, leaf is a better head shaver. On the other hand, the Supply SE is always a drama free shave.

    • @Heiko-shaves
      @Heiko-shaves  9 месяцев назад

      It is drama free but just not very close. I will keep using it and see how it goes.

    Didn't work for me either for a head shave. I got one second hand for about half price. It didn't work for him either. I have several Gem razors as well as vintage Schicks and a Leaf Thorn. All give very good head shaves. One other thing the injector. The key on the supply is thicker and shorter the the aluminum ones. Doesn't work well on Schicks and I couldn't get the aluminum one to open the SE up enough to inject the blade. This goes into the drawer . I'm done with it. I am catching up with your other videos. We'll down. Looking forward to more in the future.

      Thanks, I am pretty disappointed about the injector razor so far. The PAL wasn't great, the Supply isn't shaving close enough but the Parker adjustable was pretty good. Thanks for your comment.

  • @larrysoblotne541

    I think the problem is the angle. Got to be with the word SUPPLY against your face. When I do that I get a close shave.

    • @Heiko-shaves
      @Heiko-shaves  9 месяцев назад +1

      I'll check it out but I think a razor should be designed so that it is easy to use and the user doesn't need training to achieve the desired result. I'll give it a try anyways.

    Looks like the vegan soap held up well in your scuttle and didn't break down. How hot is the water that you're using? I pour freshly boiled water into mine and have it sit for about ten minutes while I shower and set up. It's still hot when I lather from my vegan soap puck and the lather quickly breaks down into large suds-like bubbles. This doesn't happen with my non vegan soaps. Anyone have a similar experience?

      I usually just tap water hot. 60C. It is nice and warm not hot.
