Really glad to see the Dratini line in Tier 2. They are simply too polite to upset the Homeowners Association
Eternatus is no doubt the worst to have
• Legendary Pokémon
• Can destroy buildings
• Largest Pokémon at 65 feet tall
• If that isn't enough, the Dynamax power, if it doesn't blow up your house, would make your neighborhood a Max Spot and tons of people would start having Max battles and all the Pokémon in a nearby radius would turn giant and destroy even more houses how does this Pokémon exist how can people just carry it around what the heck
Idk man. Dunsparce seems more powerful.
Yveltal who is actively trying to kill you and everyone else:
@@Takittack Dunsparce is so powerful that every time one of them evolves a Shockwave is felt throughout the universe
NYOOOOOO!!!
MY FAVE IT!!!
Eternatus, Kyogre and Groudon are all in the "destroys the whole world if awake" tier
Geez choopo, you really fibbed up! Eevee's spot should be higher. From Ultra Moon, "Its genes are easily influenced by its surroundings. Even its face starts to look like that of its Trainer." This makes Eevee creepier than one would expect.
Only if your ugly!
Maybe they placed eevee low because of vaporeon. You know why.
did you know?

@@runeanonymous9760 I went to check it out. That makes hypno actively creepier, Ash's mom actively more sus, and me surprised that there are some in there that aren't nearly as popular but now burdened with the knowlegdge that they're a canon possibility.
In regards to fire types, there ARE ones you can keep as pets, although only a few.
Growlithe: Only really barks and bites and dex entries explicitly mention loyalty and obedience towards their trainer.
Arcanine: Same as Growlithe.
Ponyta: The mane doesn't catch things on fire. Plus if it trusts you enough, the mane will no longer hurt you when touched.
Pansear: The fire is extremely controlled on its head, and the dex entries mention that it loves helping people. It's also known to help make tea.
Darumaka: The flame is kept only on the inside of its body. It's also seen as a good luck charm, and its poop was historically used as pocket warmers. Plus, it falls asleep when it gets cold.
Litleo: The fire type is its hot blood and does not actually do much with actual fire, unlike Pyroar.
Oricorio: It's just a spicy dancing bird.
Also if you give Oricorio a different nectar it can help you get ready for the day in Pom-Pom style or help you relax after a bad day as Pa'u or Sensu
Torchic is just a warm boi
*cough* flareon *cough*
Glowlithe Is kept by James of team rocket as a pet and it seems fine. Fire types can produce fire but it could be a useful pet, if you had a old fireplace, light up the logs .
@@amogus69697 flareon may be able to burn houses down but it's very fluffy so I give it a pass
As far as dragon Pokémon go Cyclizar would be an S tier pet, it even says in the game that many people own them. Free mobility and a friend
I’d call him Bichael
All fun and games until cyclizar sees a cat
@@literallygrass1328 it runs out into the road and destroys a car instead of getting hit.

"all ghost types are bad"
BUT..but Mimikyu is a sweetheart. All they want is a friend(i mean there is even a song about how they wants to be your friend and everything!),and as so long no one looks under its cloth, its perfectly safe. It doesn't curse or drain your life force, thus it is the safest among ghost types.
Also Banette, not because it isn't dangerous, it's because I love it
Honestly I would love to have a pet Mimikyu
So hear me out: I’d learn to sew just so I could make my mimikyu alternate costumes to wear. Like I get pikachu is popular and mimikyu wants to be loved, but I’d love it no matter what Pokemon it wanted to look like.
Well, I mean it’s basically an immortal clingy girlfriend who will commit brutal violence on things it hates…like the single most popular pokemon and the mascot of the series
@@appledognugget2267 thats just i the anime though
You might’ve glossed over the fact gastly isn’t just a lil cloud guy but a cloud of poisonous glass meaning if it tried to show affection and got near you, you would more than likely flatline soon after or the second it gets too close
Also it loves playing pranks(which usually involve death), stalking, and paralyzing random people
Both Mew and Shaymin would actually make amazing house pets. They are both known to be incredibly friendly and loving. They are also tiny, and adorable!
The government exists. But honestly yeah your kinda right, mew though will be awkward considering that's your greatest grandma.
@@popdog165 It has the DNA of all *Pokémon*
Aren't humans also technically pokemon? In universe atleast.
Nah it is going to make a universe in your house and we all know that you don't want it there. So mew probably NO. I don't hate mew I just think it would be unnecessary to have a mew
@@ShinyMew76 humans and Pokémon were once the same
6:01 not sure if someone’s already said this but minior dies as soon as it leaves that shell thing, it slowly evaporates into space and it’s gone forever after that, so it is safe but it would basically be a speedrun to cry over the loss of a loved one
I actually like the idea of Aromatisse as a pet. As humanoids/semi-humanoids go, it's animal-like enough to not make it weird to treat it as a pet, but human-like enough to pose daintily. I can imagine it posing dramatically like a little damsel in distress whenever its food bowl is empty. Also, it doubles as an air freshener. Granted, its fragrance is strong enough to make you lose your sense of smell, and it probably produces horrendous odors when it feels threatened, but it's fluffy, so I'll take it.
I'm not sure if Aromatisse is fluffy, I've always seen it more as an avian creature. Still, if it is a Birb, it would still make for a really good pet!
@@silversonome5360 birds can still be fluffy :]
I second all of this !!! Ive done roleplays with one of the main characters i use having an aromatisse as a pet, his name is Yankee and hes a very good boy that uses his scent making abilities to help his trainer relax and he does NOT deserve this slander !!!
@@msbellebelle fair enough, I was just thinking birds may use a different term... Maybe "puffy"? I don't really know birds lol
@@silversonome5360 It’s definitely very owl-like, but it has paws, and the Pokédex says it has fur, so this might just be in appearance. Not that a birb can’t be fluffy. I’d call a real owl fluffier than Aromatisse, since the Pokémon weighs quite a bit, but the real bird is skinny under those feathers.
I feel like shaymin would be one of the few rare ones that would be fine
Shaymin is literally just a hedgehog that can occasionally turn into a dog with a case of zoomies. Not to mention it helps nature around it flourish. If that aint one of the best pets to have, i dont know what is
Don’t forget Mew!
Mew and Shaymin are my two favorite Pokémon, and they both would make amazing house pets. They are both very friendly.
I’d like to make an argument for Victini too, the little guy is the embodiment of victory and is said to bring guaranteed victory to its trainer, so even if the government came after you for having a mythical being, it would somehow work out by dumb luck
Also, it’s adorable
@@zipperooni shaymin wins the government argument as well, there are a good bit of them and the people are chill when they give you a gracidea for one every gen
@@ShinyMew76 If people found out you had a pet Mew you'd get hunted down *immediately*
Altaria is described as super friendly and easy to bond with. I think it should be in tier one with its pre-evolution. But this may just be bias towards my favorite Pokémon lol.
Altaria is my second favorite pokemon, but i think itd be a little hard to keep as a pet simply because of its size. Its much bigger than swablu, so youd probably have to dedicate a specific room to it instead of just letting it roam around the entire house
@@msbellebelle This guy put buffolant in tier 1 though, so I figured that wasn’t really an issue.
Either way, Altaria is closer to the size of a large dog than something that would be impossible to house.
I agree
@@bird_obsession He mentioned boffolant in tier 3 tho
@@foisopracurtir6389 Did he? I swear I saw it on the tier 1 list haha
Either way, Altaria is still only the size of a large dog either way.
have you ever heard of the Pokémon Hypno? He literally has a pendulum that he swings to hypnotize people to make them DO WHAT HE WANTS, then literally eats their dreams. He has canonically stolen a child. My least favorite Pokémon, just makes me uncomfortable. There is a whole episode in the Anime where Hypno causes a whole town of children to go crazy and act like Pokémon. I mean he’s not all bad he forced Ed Sheehan to pass out
To be fair, that anime episode was an unintentional side effect of people with insomnia using Hypno's powers to fall asleep. The hypnotic waves reached out to the children unintentionally, and I believe he was also responsible for reversing it
hypno was at the beginning in the couple hundred pokemon shown in a list but yeah it definietely shouldve been like tier 3 ATLEAST
Considering he’s from Gen 1, he probably has.
“Have you ever heard from that popular pokemon from the most popular generation?”
Minior is so tragic man… it can survive if its shell never breaks (i think) but once it does it has about 2 hours before it fades into nothing
“There’s at least twenty of them”
Well, you’re not wrong
my man mentions "every fire type" but casually ignores "every ghost type", "every electric type", "every psychic type" and "every steel type"? a crime
fire types tend to passively release heat, or are literally made of fire. the others dont do that
Rotom lives inside peoples phones it’s fine to have inside a house
Gholdengo is perfectly fine as it's actually very easy to get along with, the only problem is getting one
How are steel types dangerous ? Most of them are just armored animals/items with very few having actual weaponary you could cut yourself on (or cutting you).
I wander why you didn't include fairy, I mean it's super strong in game
The only pokemon I need is Bobo
Bobo is all we ever need in our lives.

Nahhh you ain't even surviving a single night with him 💀

I'm sold on the low monthly cost of having one though, plus it can help me chop wood!
i mean you are close but (this isn't the Vaporeon copypasta)
Hey guys did you know that in terms of domesticated Pokémon, Espeon is the best pet? Needless to say, Espeon is very cute and can enhance this charm with moves such as Baby-Doll Eyes and Charm. Another big plus for Espeon is that it is one of the most loyal Pokémon existence as per its RSE entry, “Espeon is extremely loyal to any trainer it considers to be worthy. It is said that this Pokémon developed its precognitive powers to protect its trainer from harm.” It literally became a psychic to protect you. It does its job very well also, with a solid 525 Base Stat Total. To add to Espeon’s case, it can also use telepathy on you to communicate, allowing it to understand your feelings and calm you down, even more than a normal pet. It also has the ability Synchronize and with a good special defense of 95, you can vent to it and it will not mind, even if it is something really messed up (like banging vaporeon you weirdos). Finally, Espeon is an incredibly smart Pokémon, and with its telekinesis it can feed itself and give itself water, meaning if you’re going out of town Espeon can handle itself. In conclusion, Espeon is an unmatched pet because you can talk to it, it is one of the most loyal and cute Pokémon, one of the most low- maintenance Pokémon in the game, not to even mention that it is an excellent protector so it can be both an indoor and outdoor Pokémon, as well as defend you with its ESP and high special defense and attack.
@@mizukittyakinyama iirc espeon can predict the weather! I think in the pokemon world espeon's a fantastic service mon, both physically and emotionally aiding its trainer.
@@mizukittyakinyama As long as it doesn't look like an egyptian cat, I'm sold on Espeon.
any pokemon can be a good pet if raised correctly. the difference is if they're badly raised, whether they'll destroy your furniture, your city, or your dimension (looking at you giratina n guzzlord)
Bobo looks so happy in the park
12:54 "Flammable Animal" would be SUCH a good band name lmao
i think flareon should be lower personally cause its kinda just. a dog but also i read somewhere it can warm up its body so it can give great hugs ! that being said it definitely would destroy your furniture fire or not cause i have three dogs and we literally had to get a new couch after like a couple months of adopting one of them fnjdjds
Flareon may be a fire type, but it’s ok since its a friend
It still very much can breathe fire. If something startles it your house goes byebye
@@mrfrog1794 what if the Flareon doesn't know any fire type moves?
@@slappybio1686 It has an organ where it stores the fire I think, so biologically it can still breathe fire. It just can't use it as a weapon if that's the case
Same with Torchic! Its Dex entry specifically mentions its huggableness.
Greninja would be a great house pet. He’s just 4’11. That’s one inch from making him your roommate.
And he's chill too
Fennekin, even if you don't teach it any fire type moves, will destroy any house plant you ever think of owning due to the fact it has a diet of sticks.

3:12 Pineco is not a pinecone, it is a 60 cm/2'11" bagworm (Hence the Bug-type.) that will explode without warning if disturbed while eating.
4:39 At 150 cm/4'11", Machoke is the tallest of those 3, & shorter (Slightly, but still.) than 5 feet, let alone 6 feet.
5:13 To Shelgon's credit, they explicitly survive this, according to their Pokemon Moon entry. They also don't drink, & why they survive is, in-universe, unknown. That said, Shelgon's whole biology is seemingly dedicated to rapid cellular metamorphosis to evolve & become Salamence, ASAP, which is impractically dangerous to have around.
8:31 Actually, only 72 kg/158.7 lbs. Not even close to 500.
10:38 Not ice cream, but pure ice. As in, just frozen water, no cream or sugar: It's unironically, born of an icicle that didn't want to melt in the morning sun.
I'd like to make a point for any electric type to stay at tier five because electricity can cause fire just as fire can, and victribell too.

Okay but what if you had a giant mansion with one of every Pokémon in it and you had to assign them all jobs to keep the place running?
- For property protection, I choose Gengar and Mewtwo as lethal options - Obstagoon if I'd rather leave some trespassers alive to tell the tale. Other Pokémon that are basically guaranteed to drive off or kill intruders are also likely to destroy most of the mansion in the process.
- For cleanup and organization, I'd choose Arceus because it can just will things to their rightful places. The next best mon for the job, Hoopa, is canonically mischievous and likes to mess with people, so I wouldn't trust it. Also, I'm assuming the Arceus I have is just a fragment of the real thing like in the games and doesn't have the power to do literally every job at the same time.
- For maids and butlers, there's obviously Indeedee, but I'd also entrust the job to Magearna and Ditto. Magearna was built as a gift for a king's daughter, so I presume it'd be good with kids, and the infamous "Ditto face" comes from an anime episode about a Ditto that explicitly sucked at transforming, so I believe a well-trained Ditto could perfectly mimic a human valet, useful for welcoming guests.
- For travel to and from, Corviknight has an actual taxi service in Galar, but even still, I'd rather use the Lati twins for their sheer speed. If I need to transport a group, I can use Corviknight and Wailord with carriages tied to their undersides.
- For health staff, we can group together healers like Chansey and Audino, food producers like Tropius and Arboliva, and good fitness trainers like Machoke (Machamp's four arms are better suited for construction and renovation than training two-armed beings), Medicham, and Lucario. I'll also throw in Hypno and Cresselia to help me and the others get a consistent sleep schedule.
- I can leave my garden in the capable hands of generic Grass-types for planting, most earlygame Bug-types for pollinating, and Rotom-Mow for keeping things tidy.
You, I like you. You understand what makes Pokémon fun to think about and enjoy outside of battles. We are now friends. I will take a bullet for you

Fun fact to clarify: Sigilyph (pronounced like "sigil" + "glyph") is based on the Nazca Lines, a series of odd, manmade shapes from more ancient times that are very large. Sigilyph in particular is based off of one called the "hummingbird." Historians still debate what purpose, if any, they were meant to fulfill.
when he mentioned that electabuzz loves to eat electricity, i am reminded of the poor power plant worker in usum that has a magmenite that ate all his power and made the electricity in his home go out, so he had to take him to work, where he also makes the power go out sometimes.

Geez choopo, you really fibbed up! Beheeyem's Pokedex entry mentions that it can use the flashing lights on its hands to permanently wipe all of your memories. I am not letting that little freak into my apartment.
I think it's perfectly reasonable to not factor in moves. Pokemon could easily be taught movesets that are relatively harmless if they're being kept as housepets.
But geez choopo, you really flubbered! You should have included a category for those with evidence they can be successfully domesticated by someone having them as a housepet in the games, like Rhyhorn in Kalos or Victini in Liberty Garden.
I love goodra but it’s definitely a bit dangerous. While it absolutely loves its trainer,it also has the ability to launch a dump truck into the stratosphere with just its tail
Also if it hugs you too tight you might get absorbed by it's slimy body and die
Honestly Cubone doesn't seem like it would be that bad as a house pet. It just needs love ❤️
While I recognize that it is much too large to be like, a house-pet, canonically-to-the-show the flames on ponyta (or rapidash? idr which one this is said about, I assume true for both) like,
uh,
the flames don't burn the rider unless it wants them to?
So, like, if you had a ranch, I think it would be find to keep ponyta as long as you made sure it felt safe and also had adequate fire protection.
Also, like, among the ones that aren't a bad idea, which would be like, the top 10 best?
14:51 It’s not even just negative it’s just any strong emotions imagine winning the lottery then getting obliterated for being too happy. You would be constantly walking on eggshells trying to be completely emotionless 💀💀💀
All I need is Liligant, she looks too polite to do anything
Tsareena too 😏👌🏿
Tsareena’s a bit more moody than a Liligant and potentially more dangerous too.
She’s naturally aggressive with a cruel mindset and likes to kick and stomp on defeated opponents.
Plus, her legs are strong enough to knock out a kickboxing champion with one hit and the kicks can leave wounds that’ll never heal.
However, as long as you remember that touching the little stem crown on her head calms her down, then keeping a Tsareena as a pet is pretty manageable…for the most part…
Dude, I would love a Rowlet in my house. Also Leavanny seems like a good house mate.
Fire type Pokémon are a hazard, but imagine not having to pay for your gas and owning a LIVING FLAMETHROWER. Do you even know how fun that’d be?
I feel as though most of the grass types would need someone who knows how to raise not just an animal, but plant life too. Like Bulbasaur probably has the hybridized needs of a toad and a rafflesia flower.
Fun fact about Cofagrigus: It _literally grabs people, shoves them inside its coffin body, and mummifies them alive._ Needless to say I wouldn't want that in my or anyone else's households.
Greavard and Houndstone don't kill people. They follow you around forever and don't like having their stone touched but they're actually very sweet dogs.
nah greavard is cornfimed to slowly eat your life force while you're around it, that even being shown in its reveal trailer
nothing about houndstone tho, so i feel like if you just instantly evolve your greavard, you'd be good

gholdengo-which is a gen 9 steel/ghost type-is canonically very friendly! in the pokédex for Pokémon Scarlet, it is stated: "Its body seems to be made up of 1,000 coins. This Pokémon gets along well with others and is quick to make friends with anybody." so it would absolutely make a good roommate/housepet.
having it as a roommate would probably be a better option than having it as a housepet, however, since it is bipedal and is approximately the same size and weight as a small child.
(i love your videos, btw!)
people canonically keep rhyhorns as pets in the pokemon universe because of their use in racing in kalos so i feel like they would be pretty okay to have as long as they're outdoor pets
Just be sure they're not near mountains since they can shatter them (Legends Arceus Pokédex)
That can only means worse for it's evolutions.

There's also a lot of Pokemon that can help people in their work or homes: Growlithe as a police dog, Machop and Timburr lines as construction workers, Chansey as a nurse and Mr. Mime as a housemaid, just to name a few. How cool would it be to work alongside a Pokemon specifically made for that particular task? It'd be the coolest thing ever!😉👮♀👷♂👩⚕
Geez, choopo, you really fibbed up! If we’re letting Pikachu into probably be fine tier, I think Torchic, Tepig, Fennekin, Litten, and MAYBE Scorbunny are safe. Yes, they can make bad flammable fire, but Pikachu can probably destroy your home because lightning strikes can be just as house destroying and those ones aren’t always on fire and can probably control it enough. Scorbunny is a big maybe, though, since that thing’s feet might always be generating heat that can cause fires, but yeah.
And that’s just starters, I’m sure there’s a few other… really small ones that are okay under a similar Pikachu Pet Principle as I am now calling it. Only like, the first stage guys, though. Maybe they’re more in the I Probably Wouldn’t area of tiers, since they are still a fire hazard you can cuddle.

Manley have too short a temper, and vigoroth is too energetic
@@primarinegaming6761 Mankey and primeape just straight up die if they're too angry
Primeapes literally get so angry they die and then they come back stronger
Can respect the fear of poison but cannot respect the disregard for my number one boy bulbasaur. Gee choopo. You really fibbed up. For shame.
Fantastic video and loving the content you make, recently came across your channel and am enjoying the very obscure niche videos you put out. Keep it up champ 👍
I’ve been really loving your channel!!
Geez choopo, you really fibbed up!
Alcremie is my number one choice for a pet. Free whipped cream, baking partner, and if you have a high enough relationship they just give you little snacks. Plus theres so many different forms that you could create an army of them.
Geez Choopo, you've really Fibbed up!
Oh yes, my favorite Pokemon in the third row at 2:55 Glirgar.
Also Misdrevious.
Haha Rhydon Racing, haha. You got clipped by one and you're dead. Can I hear a Skill Issue?? Haha.
Just found your channel, love the content!
Now that I think about it, most bills would probably cost next to nothing and the electric bill might be nothing considering how electric pokemon can be generators.
Geez choopo, you really fibbed up! I didnt see Flygon mentioned anywhere in the lists for tier 1 or 2, but I'd probably put them in tier 1 anyway.
Great to be here so early and see another great video
Geez choopo, you really fibbed up! i think krokoroks would be great pets
Was watching this while brushing my teeth. Nearly spit all over my sink when you got to Ditto.
"You know damn well why Ditto is here."
Geez choopo, you really fibbed up! Fire types should be fine as long as you also have a water type!
Him: Pokémon are cool; there are at least 20 of them
Me: Well, you aren’t wrong 😂
Geez choopo, you really fibbed up! Appletun is literally the perfect house pet! Its is only one foot tall, doesn't shed, smells good, and is extremely slow. Because of this the ammound of damage that it could possibly do to someones property is low. Plus it is agrass type, and it could effectively help you in freshening up your house and keeping the air fresh. You also get a free all-ntural ferbreeze because of it's scent. plus, what abomination of a human would eat your dog?!?!
Geez choopo, you really fibbed up!
Umbreon secretes poisonous sweat. I don't think you'd want something with POISON SWEAT as a house pet. But you do you.
12:40 "Fire is flammable." Sounds like netherrack.
Also, my man just said no to a bunch of _starter_ pokemon. I can only assume they have much stricter architectural fire codes in universe, because he has a point.
Haha this was hilarious, loved it
14:27 Wait, what? I was not aware of this, and it's hilarious. Imagine your huge boat sinking because of a pistol shrimp. How do you even prevent that?
i like to think that every future paradox pokemon is just a weirdly shaped roomba capable of incapacitating a human or pet that could be stopped by taking out their batteries
for past paradox pokemon, slither wing is just a giant moth cat
Geez, choopo you really fibbed up! Drifloon actually doesn't steal and lift children into the sky killing them, as it's too weak and just gets carried around like the balloon it is! Driflblim on the other hand can and will though, do not let that thing near kids, please.
