@@Mystmon Yep thats true and Liligant and Avalugg were key battles in the story as well. Kalos and Ultrabeasts are the only legendaries not transferrable to Scarlet Violet so looking forward to hopefully seeing the 'dropped beta storyline' of XY reinstated with the Ultrabeasts if the rumoured leaks were true. Not 100% confirmed though or they could hopefully respond to the fan theories as they sometimes do.
I don't necessarily think this will happen, but a thought - the "future" aspect of this game isn't going to be us traveling to the future. But rather some kind of rift in time (Ultra Wormhole? Space Disruption like in Legends Arceus? Some other phenomenon?) that will bring rampaging mega evolutions to the land. Like Ruffled said perhaps there is a Z Mega Evolution system that is a more animalistic or unstable version of mega evolution. And these Pokémon are either hit by something (again similar to Arceus) or are dropped in from a future state and are now on a rampage.
Maybe even they retcon some of the mega evolution stones and make it so that we as trainers develop the mega stones. At least the ones we know today. The ones the Weapon ended up producing had an affect on certain Pokémon but because of their unrefined state it causes the Pokémon to not only feel intense pain, but go berserk.
Just some food for thought. Would be kinda neeto

I think it would be cool for it to take place like Lucario and the mystery if mew. But personally i think it’s just going to be a different timeline in the modern age for it. The trailer showed regular clothes on people

Urban REdevelopment plan. I’ve always assumed that this means it was already an urban city. And this game is actually in the FUTURE. But I’ll wait to see how wrong or right I am
Well kalos is based on France and in France during the 19th century they went through a redevoplment and they didn't have urban cities
It's a REdevelopmwnt because it was already developed as something else is al.
I think pokemon legends Z-A is going to be our Christmas release game and not for Nintendo switch 2 as if you notice on the trailer at the start when it shows the "pokemon legends Z-A start up if you look where it normally has the console it's for in the right hand corner well on the trailer it doesn't mention the new switch coming out but accurately says is "Nintwndo switch" if you wish to check yourself it's 2 minutes 15 seconds into this video

2026 is gen 10 though, which means gen 10 DLC is 2027, which places Unova in 2028.

The map doesn't make sense if it is actually set in past! As we know now the lumiose city isn't that big shown in the map and there are no wild area inside the city, it make less sense that in the past it was larger and later they trimmed it down to this size. All I can see that in the future they want to make the city bigger with more people coming to lumiose and higher population so they make the city bigger, they don't want people to run into wild Pokemon in the city they created wild areas for Pokemon too making it a harmony between people and Pokemon.
I remember that evil zygarde in the anime they talk about zygarde a lot

I thought the gameplay footage was legit until I saw regitube. Then I saw it came from someone's april fool's video.
It definitely takes place in the past at some point I mean it's plain and simple a legend is something that happened in the past and the game is called legends becasue they are going to the past for all their old regions to tell the story of the lore
The problem is that a redevelopment plan in a past setting is pointless, as we already know how Lumiose City looks like in the present.
@@nickdentoom1173 no its not pointless in the past they want to move onto the future therefore they are redeveloping for the future it's really not that hard of a concept to understand lol if my house is an old school house and I want it to look like the new houses that are being built I have to redevelop my home into what it's going to be for the future !!

Apparently, we are going to bring harmony between Pokemon and People in Lumiose City into the redevelopment plan. Problem is that the game cannot be in the past then, because we already know what it looks like in the present and we know we cannot get wild Pokemon in Lumiose City in the present, so the game has to be set in either an alternate timeline or after the events of XY.

That would be stupid af lmao like I said a legend is something from the past so all of the legends games will incorporate the past somehow that's literally the whole point of them naming it legends
@@nickdentoom1173 right so if we are making it a place between pokemon and people and the old lumiose didn't have pokemon in the city then that would mean we are upgrading from old lumiose to an even better lumiose which would then make the lumiose we know a past lumiose would it not ?? Because I mean it has been like 10 years since weve played X and Y so I'd expect a different lumiose. I mean it could be an alternate timeline but then again that would take away from the title being called legends

You end up saying 'building a city over a wild area' that is development... redevelopment is building a city over a city... which will probably have a different name. I'd suggested that Lumiose was originally the region name, and eventually changed to just the capital around the tower.

So this whole thing is pretty obvious. Take PLA but make it Kalos... yeah we get it. I feel like the Zmegas/ natural bonding (before Mega braclets) is literally the whole Ash Greninja/AZ Floette thing.
The characters can likely switch up the main characters. Male Diantha and Malva, female Sycamore and Lysandre. Switching good and bad. Id like to see a Zygarde vs Necrozma thing where Z crystals have to do with Z megas. And collect them to give necrozma different forms.
Not gonna lie, I really didn’t want another Legends game. The boss battles and Pokémon trying to attack you was really rage inducing.
