"You have to make sure you don't have too much reverb in your snares, you gotta control the space, control the reverb." Lol, you guys and your tutorials :) Can't deny it sounds good, will have to watch one of your mixing videos to see how you fit it all in, cheers.
do you recommend any other places where i can get sample packs SAFELY besides splice? they charge quite a large subscription fee, and i just wanna buy packs straight out one and done. thanks bro!
yes i usually buy artist packs, like agony samples, jkyl and hyde patreon stuff, muerte pack, ivory pack, jiqui stuff, and for vocals ghost hack!!! not using splice much lately lol
hey dude! great video. if you don't mind i can share one lil advise: instead of adding tonality this way, just try using high tonality sine wave on serum or smth. because the way you show it here, you actually ruining the impact of the punchy snare.
How am I ruining the impact of the punchy snare? The snare has enough transient and the tonality doesn’t only have to come from a sine wave. Explain what you mean
@@Dripment Layering samples like you do is a new school method, maybe there is a new school science to engineering music? I don't know if many professional musicians or engineers would recommend layering found samples like in this video. Do you know many people that do it successfully? Like I said I need to watch some of your mix videos, because this made me doubt you tbh :/
