Pro tip! Dripment mentions picking notes out of key once you've figured out more music theory stuff. A good "accidental" to try (note that is not in the scale) is one semi tone above the root note. Going between D and D# in the D minor scale creates a TON of that horror/suspense tension!

Holy sh*t. You are literally blowing my mind! I’ve been doing professional and custom Car Audio and Electronic systems for the last 22 years, and this is explaining why I feel such emotion with certain songs and other ones I don’t… And I believe certain people can’t even hear it because I will play a song that almost brings me to tears, and I have no idea why… And it will just be Sounds no words just sounds, for example, my wife will listen to it and not feel even close to the same thing that I do, but she isn’t as influenced not she have a discerning ear as I do. I just wanna keep learning about this amazing man amazing.

A huge takeaway that made a difference is using Ozone to get the main bass sounds mainly into mono signals. I come from a metal mixing background, so thank you sir!!!

Is it OK to turn down the master volume, as long as I turn it back up before render? I use a mini master before master for this purpose

Decay hz into quantized by just typing the fraction is a time saver lol I even bookmarked a calculator to quickly open up and do the math. Can you please do a short on importing samples into the wave table? I’m not sure if an update in the last few years changed something, but when I import samples they no longer sound like the original sample. I used to be able to drag and drop with pitch follow and it’d be almost identical to what I dragged in. Now it really alters what I dropped in. Hopefully I’m making sense lol

One I just realized that is sick is you can have 2 waves and then click morph and serum will make an entire wavetable based on the 2 waves... Might be a more basic tip idk im new to serum but its been sick for me to make new sounds and new waves cuz you can do that same process infinite times
