I am so Glad they did not show ARES at all
maybe they didn't show Ares is because he is pulling the strings behind the scenes and isn't really in it except maybe at the end to set up something else? that would suck

p sure danny huston is playing ares...somewhere around the 2 minute mark of the trailer you see him push diana 4-5 feet into a wall. seems like something a regular human wouldn't be able to do.

The problem with having diana be his daughter cheapen the character... it make her one Zeus many bastard children that all tend to hate him( excluding the disney version because it Disney) and i hope people stop comparing her to the mcu big three because that make her look like a water down female version of Thor, Captain America and iron man which she never was/is the female version of anything. Wonder Woman is suppose to be the blueprint not the imitation, nevertheless i hope she do well if not the mcu can show dceu how it done with Captain Marvel.

I love the trailer, they did a good job with it. I love that Steve Trevor isn't a damsel in distress.. that he's as competent as Diana even though he'll never be her physical equal. I'm excited for this movie.
I think Etta Candy will be the unexpected treasure of this movie.

Ok, I have to admit, it's more fun watching your face as you watch the trailer than watching the trailer itself. Your reactions are the best! You are awesome at your job! Thanks for being so on top of the trailers as soon as they come out.
Gal Gadot is really pulling off Wonder Woman so well. Like I remember a while ago me and dad were discussing who would be a good actress for Wonder Woman and when we heard it was Gal we were surprised and heavily excited. Seeing her in action was amazing.
I'm thinking Patty Jenkins is misdirecting us a bit.
All three of these trailers make you think that General Luddendorf is Ares. He's the only villainous presence in the trailers, really. But? David Thewlis has not been shown in any of these trailers, and according to some of the rumors, he's playing a seemingly wimpy guy who actually is arguing for peace.
What a perfect misdirect, right? We think Luddendorf is Ares for most of the movie. Diana defeats him. Surprise! Thewlis walks onto the scene and reveals that HE was Ares the whole time!

Well Danny Huston's character did push Diana into a wall around minute two, so there's something different about him.
They could both be Ares.

I just realized, I think this is the 1st recent Hollywood superhero movie that doesn't take place or involves the USA. (except Guardians of the Galaxy since that's all space)

People seem to keep misunderstanding Hippolyta's words. She's saying "only the Fiercest warriors, that is not you". She's not saying that she's weak or cowardly, she's implying Diana's classic primary personality traits of compassion and gentleness, which is true.
She later goes to to prove she is also fierce, but she's not PRIMARILY a fierce person, she's a kind person.

I like that they made the Chris Pine character also heroic, like he wanted to save her in the shooting, but then when she didn't need saving he was more like "oh cool" not threatened by her being strong or even her being "weird" by walking around with a sword & shield. I think the humor he & the side kick woman bring will be a good foil for the super serious way they are playing WW. She can still be all dark & brooding but they can humanize her a bit more. I think that's a lot of what the Batman & Superman movies were missing. The fight scenes in this are so amazing, they almost look like dances instead of fights.
I get have a feeling that she can fly in this iteration. I'm psyched about that.
"She must never know the truth about what she is" this line is an absolute confirmation that she is Zeus' daughter. Hardcore WW fans know that, only the general public doesn't.

I think this looks amazing. It looks better than Man of Steel and Batman v Superman ever did. I know Diana's origin story and it's one of my favorites and it will be cool to see it brought to the big screen in love action. I thoroughly enjoyed the animated version and this looks great!

I haven't been reading much of the DC 52 but in all the previous comics she was able to summon the power of Zeus (usually in the form of lightning) by clashing her gauntlets together. The story behind it was that they were re-forged out of Zues' Aegis, enchanted by Zeus and then given as a gift to Diana. So that is most likely her causing the lightning.

With each new trailer, I keep thinking this will be the DCEU's first critically well-received movie. The imagery of Themiscyra (I probably spelled that wrong) was BEAUTIFUL. The music they play over the title sequence is so cool. And I like Gadot's accent, since the island's origins are in Greek mythology (I don't know if she's trying for a Greek accent, but it's enough to appease the uncultured side of me that I'm not proud of). Really excited for this movie, particularly the action and Etta Candie's comic relief (I'm a Marvel fan first, so apologies to the DC fans if she's from the comics and I spelled her name wrong).

The lightning is coming from her . Wonder Woman has (pre-crisis) the ability to summon a bolt of lightning from clashing her bracelets together. Now (rebirth) she can summon the lightning bolt of Zeus

I'm so glad Chris Pine will get the appreciation he deserves after this movie. Obviously, he's done quite well with Star Trek, but the audience of that franchise is pretty exclusive to sci-fi lovers and fans of the original series. I'm probably part of the rare group who got into the franchise because I'm a fan of Chris' and fell in love in the process. That being said, he may not be largely popular among mainstream audiences, aka those who watch superhero movies. But now maybe he can be apart of that conversation with this role. (Yes, he isn't a hero himself like the other Chrises, but he can still be badass and, of course, very funny and cute too. 😊) Oh, I'm so excited for this movie! And I too hope Steve somehow doesn't die or can come back. I think I read somewhere that in some form of the comics, Steve comes back, and I hope they would do that in the DCEU films because Chris Pine is so wonderful.
Well, he's still available for the MCU, which would be better for his carrier.

This looks really, really good. I wish the actress looked like she could be the best fighter in the world. Instead, she is believable as the best fighter in a group of skinny models. I can't help but think she wouldn't be able to even lift a real Greek or Roman sword.
Now all we need is a WWII Captain America and Wonder Woman crossover

If they kill Chris Pine, perhaps it'll be like the wonder woman tv series 2 where they brought Wonder Woman into the present and it was the son of Steve Trevor who she finds on the beach this time. Amazingly looks just like his dad! If the next Steve Trevor is his son, they can go on because Wonder Woman is an immortal.
