    It looks awfully nice, and I hope more people consider this as a serious option while shopping in this segment. However, I don’t think anyone will ever be able to take down the GM full-sized SUV triplets, they’ve ruled this segment since it was conceived and don’t look to be giving up that spot anytime soon. But more competitive vehicles like this Armada is good to have as an alternative!

    This Armada is looking great. Historically the Armada has always felt like the awkward, lower-rent alternative to the Land Cruiser. However with the latest LC really dropping the ball, this Armada is now the choice option. Even moreso if it was called the Patrol - at this point a global icon unto itself.

    • @james2042

      @ArthurBenetton well now we got the baby lc, which no one but maybe jeep with the gc has an answer for. The big lc is now just lexus (granted it's still bad imo). But thr armada name plate is just known here while the patrol is not, and it's already a suffering vehicle

    The 2025 Armada is going to sell very well compared to to many full size SUVs in this category. It’s going to be all about price. The Armada is also going to take some sales from Infiniti with QX80. The Armada is topping $82K in the Platinum reserve will the QX80 Tops $113K with options that many will not use. Averages family incomes in the US is somewhere around $50 -$75K. In my opinion the Armada does fit majority of wants for average families.

    Nissan knocked it out of the park. They understood, researched, engineered, and executed miles better than Toyota will ever do for any model they have

    I’m a Toyota truck guy, and I’m frustrated with the lack of full sized Lane Cruiser and the botched new Sequoia.
    Leaning hard towards GMC’s Yukon AT4 with the diesel. But this Nissan looks interesting.
    Nissan did a good job with it. I don’t love the styling of the Pro 4X but the other trims look great. Hopefully I can get a locking diff in the Plat/Reserve trim.

    • @Ryan2022
      @Ryan2022 11 дней назад

      Same here the Sequoia is frustrating and the rear is completely useless. I haven’t owned a General Motors car in over 30 years and I’m a little nervous with a Tahoe or a Yukon to be honest. I’m gonna check out the refreshed expedition. The Wagoneer was a fail for me the seats are obnoxiously small for a giant SUV. The second row seats are so high that my head was hitting the headliner and I’m only 6 foot one the fake wood trim flexes when you push on it I really wish she would’ve done a better job with the Wagoneer because this segment needs more competition. This Armada looks interesting

I try to go no older than a few years and certainly, no more than 35000 miles, and I was driving the previous generation ~2022 armada, and I just could not find a comfortable seating position and felt like I was sitting up too high. Like the seat needed to be able to go vertically down lower by a couple of inches. So instead, I went for more comfort, and I wanted at least a little, tiny bit of sportiness, that also gave me legit. 2 speed transfer case, 4 wheel, low... and towing capacity, that's at least something.....and so I'm going in the direction of a 2022 or so Jeep Cherokee L. .....Which doesn't really seem to be too much different than a dodge durango, except for nicer, more comfortable things?.... How do you know this? This is a clean sheet design with a different engine and transmission from the old one. If anything, it should be as reliable as the current Land Cruiser (300 series).

      @@damilolaakanni All true but the chassis hard points on the Y63 appear to be exactly the same as the Y62. No way Nissan developed a brand new platform from scratch…they couldn’t afford it.

    Nissan sales are declining, and they might be getting bought out by Honda if I remember correctly.
