Coop, you left out a critical piece of information. It's important to mention that this is not a true 3" x 3" rack with 2" spacing between 1" holes. Because it's imported, these dimensions are all rounded to the nearest metric units. It's a 75mm x 75mm rack with 50mm spacing between 25mm holes. Aka 2.95" x 2.95". This is why accessories from other companies do not always fit. Other overseas metric racks include Fringe, Fray, Titan, and Giant racks, so these accessories should fit. Some other companies manufacture overseas, but still build to imperial units. For example, the Vulcan Prime rack is made overseas but it's a true 3" x 3" by 2" by 1" rack. You should do a video about imperial vs metric racks, this is important customer awareness.
This doesn't bother me that the sizes are metric, but what DOES bother me is that companies like Rep don't make it clear that it's 75mm x 75mm they literally just call it a 3x3
I'm very happy with my Rep rack and have absolutely no complaints. I went with the PR 4000, but I have most accessories for it and it is quite a versatile piece of equipment that fits my needs. Nice review follow-up, Coop.
I’m trying to decide between the PR 4000 or the PR 5000. I was seriously looking at the 4000 until I came across this video about the 5000. Looks like it might be more interchangeable with Rogue. Of course the price is higher for the 5000. I’m really looking for a rack in this range but want an adjustable pull up bar that uses pins for quick release for varying heights so I can do some body weight muscle ups.
@@tobydavis5673 PR4K is compatible with Rogue’s Monster Lite series (I.e. my Matador Dip bar). I like the consistent hole spacing of the 5K and if you don’t care for WS hole spacing for bench, it might be your better choice. As for p/u bar being adjustable, I don’t know of any, but you could probably get away with using the removable attachment pegs instead of actual bolts.

Coop you should inform the public on how the metric measurements make most accessories from other brands fit strangely. Rep and Titan are slightly smaller than their claimed "inch" based measurements. 3x3 is not 3 inch by 3 inch. Hole spacing is not quite the 2 inch standard. So for accessories from Rogue and others who use US measurements.....the fit is much looser though they are mostly still functional. And accessories with more than one peg become problematic the further apart the pegs are (the slight differences in hole spacing "add up" over distances). That's the key stuff buyers need to understand. I own it though, great rack. Accessories just aren't' as transferrable/standardized as I expected when I viewed your first review.
Definitely my dream rack best value in my mind but I live in Canada it's hard to get your hands on these racks especially in these "pandemic times".😡 nice review loved it!

Probably not worth the upgrade IMO. The main thing is the 5/8" vs 1" holes for the attachments, but how many attachments do you really need? Also, the 5000 has numbers on each hole. They are similar. I am about to get the 4000 with the ares
Absolutely my first choice for a rack Great Vid Coop TY as always. My only question is will Sorinex accessories fit it? Your comment on accessories was DEAD ON - great rack but really missing key accessories. I love the Sorinex add-on bench and their indexing chin-up handles will they work with this rack?
People just want the “best”. Some will argue the 1” hardware is stronger, but you watch any westside videos and most if not all their rack are 2x2 or 2x3 with 5/8” holes. I personally like the 5/8” holes. Especially the westside spacing.
I've been wanting to buy this rack for about 6 months and nothing is ever in stock. Even when stuff is in, invariably, the accessories you want and rack attachments/uprights/crossmembers aren't all there so you'll end up getting banged for shipping multiple times. Glad to see the white in the video because I didn't consider that color option before. Quick question regarding space and the lat attachment, can you put plates on by reaching through the rack or do you have to put them on from the outside?
Sure did talk about looks a lot. I think looks have value but functionality is what matters. It could be ugly, if it's a great product, especially for less money, that's what will help me decide.
I am building one right now and it has a selection of standard pull up bar and raw pull up bar. What are the differences between these and do you have a video?
I like the review, and I can say as he mentioned before Quality and functionality are important don’t go with this one. I myself got the RM6 recently and I would be more than willing to spend a bit extra for Rogue and the LT1 trolley system for versatility and quality. I was at a toss up between the heavier commercial rack from Hammer Strength, Matrix, etc. But Rogue got me believing otherwise for sure, considering I have never used racks of this class until I finally owned one. If only we can get a good review on the use of the J-cups from Rogue that they can’t seem to stock or offer the same time as a original base order... :(
I've seen that alibaba offers gym equipment that "looks" comparable to lots of stuff you review. I think it would be interesting to buy some of it and compare it to what you have. For example nuobells and other adjustable dumbbells
Brandon bought his pre-covid. Coop had his red one a year ago and i believe the red one was a review unit that he got to keep at his friends house. This white one i believe is his. Why send another if they already sent one before. Now i cant speak if rep made a deal with these guys given they are some of the most popular home gym ytbers. But that just some of the perks of their success in the youtube space for home gym equip.
This was my dream rack that I wanted so bad. But Rep's supply chain is a joke. Had to buy Rogue because they actually let you purchase. I wanted the pr5000 so I could get the lat pull-down attachment
Like most things still, can't even get a pair of horse stall mats where I'm at. Luckily I have some kettlebells, may wait a year just so I can order everything all at once and try to save on some shipping... maybe Rep will have a newer V3 version by then lol.
If you already bought the uprights, email them about shipping the crossmembers to u. it’s what i did and they’re not listed in stock on the website when i did so
@@codyktam I have the uprights since August. I have been checking all their social media, which most people state they needed to check the website several times a day. I also email them 3 weeks ago, they said a new shipment was due mid-October. Now, they are doing a parking lot fire sale by appointment on Saturday (Oct 17), maybe that is to empty the where house.
Coop, thanks to you I’m thinking about getting Rep’s PR-5000. I’m going to wait on the Black Friday’s deal in 2024. I’m unable to put in the garage at this time, so it will go in a room on the second floor. Is the 80 inch height too short? I’m 5 ft 10 inches. I have 9 ft ceilings, but I thought the 93 inch height might be cutting in close. Also, is it safe to have a rack on the second floor of your home? My home is well built, but I don’t want to fall through the ceiling one day while I’m squatting. Thanks in advance for your response. I enjoy your reviews.
awesome review and I am in the process of trying to figure out what rack to get. What do you see as the big difference in the 4000 and 5000. I do like the laser cut numbers but is that really an important difference. Any advice would be great. love the white and black set up. I would assume you can get the pull down and it will work on both versions.
Can anyone tell me if the LAT attachment installation negatively impacts bench positioning? Does the footplate for the row portion prevent a bench from being properly positioned?
So the PR 5000 is the same as PR 5000v2. I built my rack at rep fitness its a pr5000. Iam a little confused I chose the 80" rack and 30" if I buy lat pull down attachment and stabilizer I won't need to bolt it down correct?? Will the rogue leverage arms work on this rack? OK this is my dilemma.🙄 I currwntly have this set up PRX wall rack and separate valor lat pull down machine, separate rogue pull up bar, separate rogue band station with matador dip attachment and landmine (this is what I currently have right now) and many of other things.. I want the rogue arms so for that I will have to get another rack I think so I been looking at the one mentioned avobe..now if I get the pr5000 with lat pull down, rogue leverage arms, dip, land mind and pull up bar attachments I can sell all my other stuff and this way I will have everything consolidated in one rack..don't know if I will like everything cramped up in one place though🤔🤔. Or maybe just replace prx wall rack with rogue wall rack and keep everything else in separate stations like I have it now??🤔🤔
Does the REP standard j cups have UHMW plastic on the inside where the cup meets the upright metal? I'm looking for a cheap option to hold an unused bar on my rack, just don't want the jcup to damage the paint. Thanks coop!
I found the ordering process to be a total nightmare with Rep. I spent over 10k with them, and still haven't been able to fully setup my rack. I'm still waiting on parts from them. Their customer service has been good for the most part, and I have been pleased with the quality of gear delivered... but I am not sure I would go Rep again if Rogue came out with a better pulley system.
Maybe you got two safety straps both left or both right. I agree that if they do mirrored pairs for all other accessories then they should do pair for this. I looked on their site and the straps are the same on the image there.
I don’t think all of Rogue’s attachments will fit on the Rep’s. Only attachments that require 1 pin will be compatible. The reason is because Rogue uses imperial sizing, while rep uses metric. The difference is very small, but when attaching accessories that require two pins, this difference adds up the further away the pins are. I could be wrong, but you mentioned this and I would like to see actual proof of this since there doesn’t seem to be much out there yet.
Only time a guy can compliment another man's rack. I love the clear grind PR-5000 I got, but not going to lie, the white/black looks great.

@@GarageGymReviews back hook to front upright, front hook to back upright. Keeping the strap intact, should go from inside>drop to outside>drop.
@@Rastamahatma they literally don't. No matter how you rotate them theyre the same orientation
What is the cost of that setup? Can you also include what other attachments your out in?
Absolutely my first choice for a rack Great Vid Coop TY as always. My only question is will Sorinex accessories fit it? Your comment on accessories was DEAD ON - great rack but really missing key accessories. I love the Sorinex add-on bench and their indexing chin-up handles will they work with this rack?
I have the PR-4000 and it's awesome.
Can you make a video for people with low ceilings. Been wanting a rack for my basement but I have a pretty low ceiling height
I want a white rack because my first gym had one so it's a little nostalgia for me. Also I plan to get coloured barbell and plates anyways.
Coop, why get a PR5000 vs. a PR4000? I never see you talk about the 5/8" racks vs. 1".
People just want the “best”. Some will argue the 1” hardware is stronger, but you watch any westside videos and most if not all their rack are 2x2 or 2x3 with 5/8” holes. I personally like the 5/8” holes. Especially the westside spacing.
@@JoeyAme Oh yeah 1" is 100% overkill, no one NEEDS that for sure.
Loving this set up with the 6 uprights. What bench have you stored upright behind it? Rogue 3.0 or the Rep AB 5200?
Dope intro!
Hey Coop! Old video I know, but bought a rep PR-5000 rack yesterday using your affiliate code. Hope you get paid for this, bug them if you don't!
I have a blue uprights version with the mat black cross members. Makes a big difference.
Looks like they switched to free shipping now
30in v 43in depth matter at all for monolift use?
Assuming they were used for bench/squats and taken off when using the rack for other moves.
Was completing a Pr-5000 or a Rogue Rm-6, but ima just get a Rogue it’s slightly more but the powder coat is amazing
Vid dropping on a Friday? LETS GO!
Coop, the mustache is looking very nice!!
Great intro Coop
What is the black stretch rack mounted to the wall? Who made it? How much?
Always fun too watch 🤓
What is that pistol looking attachment at 9:49?
Just noticed you have the bench standing up infront of the rack in a clip @ 11:59. How did you do that?
Coop, can you give us a ball park figure regarding how much you have spent on gym equipment?
Probably 300,000 + over the years
I've seen that alibaba offers gym equipment that "looks" comparable to lots of stuff you review. I think it would be interesting to buy some of it and compare it to what you have. For example nuobells and other adjustable dumbbells
he did a review on the nuobells recently
Is rep reaching out to youtubers for their reviews? This looks like the same setup as Brandon Campbell
Do you think the REP lat attachment will work on the monster lite rack?
I bought into it. Still missing crossmembers. Despite checking their website 4-5 x a day. The supply and demand has been insane.
How does the white hold up ? Do you think the clear coat would be a better option to not scratch due to the trolly pins ?
I've been wanting one, but its been out of stock for the last 6 months
Can anyone tell me if the LAT attachment installation negatively impacts bench positioning? Does the footplate for the row portion prevent a bench from being properly positioned?
Not flat bench, but Incline, which you can do off thr front with spotter arms.
I like that you think they are using stainless on the back crossmember.
OK this is my dilemma.🙄
I currwntly have this set up PRX wall rack and separate valor lat pull down machine, separate rogue pull up bar, separate rogue band station with matador dip attachment and landmine (this is what I currently have right now) and many of other things.. Or maybe just replace prx wall rack with rogue wall rack and keep everything else in separate stations like I have it now??🤔🤔
We need evidence that you’re 28 years old, bro.
29 now. With three kids.
@@GarageGymReviews would the Rogue Safety Straps fit on the Rep Pr-5000 v2 Rack?
I’m interested in this and the 4000 but I’d like to know which is most compatible with accessories from Rogue and maybe Titan.
I’ve got the PR-4000 and love it
I don’t think all of Rogue’s attachments will fit on the Rep’s.
PR-4000 doesnt' have the 1 inch holes like this PR-5000. How do you think that would effect the ability in terms of add ons/accessories
