Hahaha the pic of Gym Bro Brandon in his truck was epic. “Every half inch matters” I had to screen shot and zoom in to confirm it was who I thought it was
Awesome review as always! I just bought a six-post 5000 in the 30'' depth version to replace my RML 390F. I have no business doing this, but I am excited and prepped for the ARES assuming it can deliver 80% of what it promises.
I’m seriously looking to purchase a rack soon and very possibly this PR-5000. In this video he states the cost at 3 grand. I’ve commented and he has replied stating that he got all attachments and the full gym. I don’t know if he is talking about bars and weights. I just need the rack and a few accessories and attachments. If it’s not to personal could you possibly let us know about what you paid? I’m budget minded to some degree avoiding Sorinex and Rogue but just kind of getting an idea of what I might have to spend.
My rack with all the Rep PR 5000 attachments was just under 3k. That's the rack as a 6 post setup, landmine, strap safeties, drop safeties, both sets of j cups, spotter arms, dip attachment, globe pull up bar. That 3k is the rack and all the attachments I have (and almost everything Rep offers) but I might've missed something in there.
I got the ethos power rack 3x3 with 1" holes. I love it best of all. It takes attachments from rogue, rep , and titan series. Love the finish on that 5000 👍👍
Great review as always. I'd like to point out two small issues I have with my PR-5000 configuration: 1. If you choose the Multi-Grip pull up bar, and the lat pull down attachment, you better get the 41-inch depth version. For my 30-inch depth rack, there is just not enough room for your head if you want to use the fat grip of the pull up bar inside the rack. 2. you need to consider the space needed on the uprights for the spotter arms. I was thinking using the flip-down safeties for benching, and the spotter arms for squat, so I dont need to reset the height for each movement. But it turns out that the spotter arms takes about 10 inches of space on the uprights, and there is just not enough room for the two safety options to be set for the desired height at the same time.
I wouldn't have thought of that one. Thanks for the info! Hey editing comments isn't allowed! Yep, I make it all look easy in that thumbnail with it all fitting but it's not always so simple.
I was hoping for a snowsuit at the end! You have quickly become one of my fave youtube home gyms! Always funny but always great content new rack is sick! Rep is doing some really exciting things and climbing up in the home gym world…listening to the people
Congratulations on the new rack! My PR-4000 is arriving on Monday and I can’t wait. Based on my email/chat interactions with REP I feel that they are a great company!
Bought the Metallic Black PR 5000 - 80" H / 30" D / with 16" weight storage extension. Also, just bought the Ares pulley system. Packaging and shipping was excellent in my opinion.
I love the under the radar joke of how you add more clothes the longer the video runs 😂 That's one reason(the jokes, not winter clothing) I keep coming back. The other is the ground floor feel. Like your videos don't feel like we can never reach that home gym point. Gluck is a man of the people! 💪🙌🙌
Give me some time and I'll be reviewing $10,000 benches! 😂 Thanks. Trying to keep it balanced while showing as much as I can get my hands on. The clothes were necessary though, I was frozen
I’ve been watching your videos for six months now and you helped me decide what to get for my home gym (used your links). I went with the RM6 and am putting it together this week. Just want to say thanks for the content, and for answering my questions in the comments!
just got my blue / black PR-5000 ... ya its overkill but its beautiful!! My wife was like "why don't you look at me as lovingly as you look at your new rack..." :)
@@GlucksGym No one had commented on it yet, so I had to make one. Overall, great video. Gives me something to think about. Just seeing the beefiness of the PR5000 makes me want it. The 1" holes just make the 5/8" holes on the 4000 look puny and insufficient even though I know that they will be more than enough to handle the weights I'll be throwing around.
Great review. Very thorough as always. Everything said was spot on. Wow, you've now become the master of the dry delivery double entendre and innuendo. I was having to rewatch parts for the info because my innuendo receptors were on overload. 😂 Lol
A very thorough review my friend. Excellent work! I was planning on going with this rack but found a used Sorinex Base Camp and could not refuse the price.
I’m setting here watching your video waiting on an ice storm heading way so I feel your pain! Lol Man that rack is over the top nice! I kinda wish a would’ve gotten it but honest my PR4000 is more than enough for me after almost 2 years of use. I agree, Rep give you a good bang for your buck quality vs cost.
Awesome review. I did appreciate that you were one of the few RUclipsrs that used a Rogue Infinity setup like I do so I’ll miss that! Keep up the awesome work though. Also, agreed on that commenter… that was very creepy. Separately, the buy American only guys get annoying fast since we all know their clothes, furniture, car parts and everything else are made overseas but they draw the line at gym equipment and act like they’re better than everyone else. It’s off putting. Appreciate you calling the worst of them out.
Haha I've always been one to give some back or just not tolerate it. If you're not contributing then why are you here? I'll miss that rack but it's been a few years and I suppose if they're not gonna support it what can I really do?
Great video, I'm glad I found your channel! I'm rack shopping for a small apartment bedroom (not ideal LOL but it's the space I have). I think I've decided on Rep, but still debating about which model. I want to leave room for the most upgradeability and expansion, in case I move to a bigger place some day. I've been mostly looking at their Apollo and Omni racks, because bolting down is not an option for me, but I'm starting to look at the 5000 as well - as long as it's safe to not bolt it!! Your videos, and some of the other channels I've found, are proving super helpful. Thank you!
Depending what you're doing with it it may not have to be bolted down or you can get front feet for it. Don't sleep on the PR 4000 either. We've reviewed it but since then they've updated the hole spacing to be equal on all 4 sides like on the 5000
Nice work on the full breakdown. I just added two red PR5000 uprights to my Sorinex rack. There’s a few differences I’ll note for your viewers. The finish on the REP is more textured than my Rogue or Sorinex. In time I may find that means it resists chipping better, but for now it’s just an observation. Since the numbers start about 1/5 the way up, the numbers don’t line up to other racks. Not a huge deal since numbers are where you’d likely add attachments but I didn’t expect that. The REP cutout logo on the upright was right where I wanted to put a crossmember, so I had to go up a few inches. I like the cutout but wish it wasn’t in the way. Mixing Inches/metric can work if your crossmembers are ovals like Sorinex, but the bigger distance between your first and last crossmember, the bigger the gap.
Thanks for the info. I meant to mention the logo because that annoyed me a bit too when I was putting on plate storage but it wasn't hard to work around.
Just speaking noise to help the algorithm- my rack is from Body Solid, 11 gauge 3x3. Horrible 3 inch hole spacing but hey thats what drill bits are for. What’s nice is the huge 1 3/8” holes that very neatly accept 1” plumbing pipe fittings from the hardware store, so I make my own safeties, j-hooks etc. for next to nothing. It didn’t come with plate storage so I made that as well by bolting 4x4s to the front and attaching storage pins from Rogue. Great review and entertaining as always!
ruclips.net/video/C0vcGP4BCgo/видео.html Never done this before, but hopefully this link shows the rack and my custom goodies. Please forgive the old guy pot belly. FYI the long safeties are tapped with 1/4-20 threads to accept thumb screws so they don’t accidentally fall out, and have 1” cold rolled steel rods inside them for the best possible strength. The storage being so close to my face when squatting is a concern; if I dump a squat I need to make sure I don’t fall forward and hit my head on the 4x4s or other hardware. But at least the whole thing fits in the limited available space.
Very funny how you add more winter gear at each cut away. Always make me laugh. Appreciate the content, keep it up (and I don't mean with the little blue pill)
I’ll always prefer made in the USA, but I have REP’s AB-5200 and FB-5050 and have no complaints. The only thing I see about your REP rack that would bug me is the amount of sag in the safety straps. Great review.
Yep I wish the straps were a bit tighter. I also prefer American but I suppose as a reviewer I don't always get to worry about that but I will say Rep hasn't let me down yet.
Awesome video as always! I pulled the trigger on a RM6 during their black Friday sale, the cost difference was only $200 between rogue and rep pr5000 with the same attachments and I saved in shipping due to all the other rogue items I was getting on the order. Can't go wrong either way, both are GREAT racks that'll outlive us all! Haha
@@GlucksGym $250 off the 90in monster 6 post in black and $75 shipping for entire order, I was able to upgrade the pull up for free too from their customer service. Was pretty great deal
It's the attachments that'll kill you. I debated that rack at 100 but the shipping deal didn't go for the larger racks (it was still a deal but not $75)
@@GlucksGym yeah, I'm just gonna TRY to take it slow adding attachments when I need them as I go, or else if I can find a good deal used. I say TRY to take it slow because...well...gotta collect em all right?! 😉
Ordered the PR 5000 in clear coat. Used your affiliate link. Love your humor bro! Thought you were gonna look like Kenny from southpark by the end of the video.
Got a 6 post Rep PR 5000 30 inch depth and went with Rep over Rogue cause of the law low row attachment and now with the Ares coming out, and the plate loaded Ares that can work off an existing lat low row, I’m glad I chose Rep! Just not a fan of that “free” shipping
I looked at a lot of stuff pre and post free shipping and there were a lot of things that actually reduced in price with shipping (based off prices on my vids). Can't say that's true of everything and I'm not a fan of free shipping but that's the way it is nowadays I guess. Glad the choice is working for you though!
Holy hell, man, this rack kills! Appreciate the comparison-contrast with Rogue, but after spending a lot of time on REP equipment in the last two years, I really like their upgrades, which demonstrates their seriousness toward quality. I workout in a basement with no furnace, so I feel for you. (My warmups take as long as my summer workouts. 😋)
Ugh the heat and cold. Actually though, I'm 100% being honest the gym... Erm... garage has better climate control than our house haha. REP is really smoking lately, excited for their future .
Great review and as a pr5000 owner I agree with you on all points. Rep hit the sweet spot between price and quality. Their customer service is also on point, couldn't be happier with my purchase vs competitors.
Glad to hear it! I've never had an issue with them (yet). Actually one time a dumbbell came knicked up but they just sent me a new one and let me keep the old. Fine with me!
Great review! Currently in the process of shopping around for a garage rack replacement. I got a junk-tier setup maybe 7-8yrs ago (cheapest thing at Titan Fitness), but it's gotten to the point where I really know what I like and what I absolutely hate. I was leaning heavily toward Titan's X3, but to be honest, I had forgotten about laser-cut numbers. Kind of like what you showed in the video, I have had to make use of marker doodles on athletic tape to remember heights for pins and really need something better. I hadn't given REP a look for racks, but the benches I got from them are solid. I'm still kind of on-the-fence between 5/8" and 1" holes, but to be honest, given the price difference, I'm sure the 5/8" on the 4000 will do me fine (plus it seems every time I see an attachment I like, it doesn't come in 5/8"). Will keep an eye on their prices for a bit longer before pulling the trigger. Thanks!
Good luck! REP has some great options for racks especially with the 4000 and 5000. I'd probably have gotten the 4000 myself (or Rogue Monster Lite) if I hadn't already reviewed it
I have the same rack, both in size and color. It is great and overkill. The main reason I went with REP was for the lat pull down attachment. Rogue needs to figure that out already.
Rogue's got some things up their sleeves but we'll see where they go with it. This is a great rack though, no regrets and better than I hoped it would be.
I have half of my REP order weeks into ordering stuff they claimed was in stock. I would find out, if I ever receive it! They also do not respond to messages. I am thinking I should have just ponied up and went Rogue at this point.
They just moved their warehouses to PA and CA which probably has something to do with it. Everything moved out from CO to those new locations. My SSB was supposed to be shipped as well and when I asked they said they're working through the move at the moment and everything isn't set up yet.
Rep has nice stuff and when I’ve bought from them it’s great I just hate the inconsistencies with stock and releasing and taking off products of the website, such as the Omni rack and even the 4/5000 racks for a time or they’ll have the rack and then not the attachments or vise versa, The attachments they are coming out with seem awesome still though and the “3” actually being like 2.75 is really annoying if you want to use attachments from different companies. Just my opinion love your channel and reviews !
The 3" is 2.95 because it's metric. Everyone's having stock issues unfortunately, I've been waiting for some a Rogue things for a long time. Hard for companies to adjust to essentially 10x the sales (or whatever). Idk what the deal is with the omni atm but they redid the site and a lot came down while they did that. Hopefully it all gets ironed out but seems everyone's having issues the past... However longs it's been now with Covid.
Considering a 6 post with weight storage. Would it be steady enough without anchoring into floor? Saw rep’s omni with the on-grade crossmembers and pr-4000 front extensions, but want this rack to be futureproof-ed as best possible.
@@GlucksGym No problem and you’re not wrong. I just had a pretty bad shipping experience (things got scuffed up, Rogue did credit some cash back when I reached out). Also I wish the RML attachments got some UMHW love. I’m still using pin pipe safeties lol that comment was great.
@@Ragnvaldr89 ugh pin and pipe... I have some and refuse to use them haha. I use the spotter arms on my R6. I get the cost savings but sometimes the 5/8 are treated as inferior by companies. Sorry about the shipping, I haven't been so lucky with Rogue in that lately either
These racks and the TITAN series racks are both incredible considering the savings vs Rogue, etc. I got the TITAN series back before the pricing increases and I don’t think you can get anywhere close to that quality for the price. Current have TITAN series, Rep PR5000, and Rogue Monster parts all Frankensteined together at this point in my set up and there is virtually zero quality differences between them all.
Very nice review! Although, I don’t regret my RM-6, I would have been extremely happy with this baby. If only they had what I was looking for in stock, and you didn’t need a computer science degree to figure out how to order it 🤦🏽♂️. Also if I’m ever feeling down, I’m just going to watch this video in reverse and convince myself I’m getting a review and a show 🙃😂😉
I was thinking about upgrading my smaller 2x2 rack, but I've got a Jerry rigged dual cable setup that I don't want to lose. I also just shimmed it between the ceiling and floor and it's solid as hell now. This 3x3 shit is frankly overkill. I'm a human, metal is strong
Rep is the best value in terms of quality and price... I personally like their hole numbering versus titan who is at the same price point... Also like the their versatility with attachments and if you want to go crazy with the Ares in the future it will absolutely support it... Only time I'd go titan in this price point is if I want a taller rack that rep doesn't offer... Checks a lot of boxes... I have the same one hole and two problem with my wif... I mean rack
What configuration of this PR 5000 would you recommend if I wanted to add the dual plate loaded Athena while not having to bolt this thing to the floor? If I went with the plate loaded version, I would have to sacrifice the rear plate storage uprights, as that would get in the way of the pulley trolleys.
@@GlucksGym I already have no life I drive a city bus with the most horrible hours you could imagine. But you? Your young and will make millions on RUclips someday…at least I hope that happens for the two of you.
The globe? When we have a bunch of people doing pull ups at once we do. Your head will fit between the globes but it's option 3 after the rings and straight bar.
Glad to hear you've had a good experience as well! I've been loving my PR-4000, just waiting for the rest of the pieces for my lat pulldown to come in today! I wonder if you would do a slightly more in-depth comparison (short?) about west side spacing vs the standard 2" spacing all the way down as far as the actual utility of the closer spacing in the bench range goes? I feel like I made the right choice with the 4000 but, like you said, all the cool stuff is for the 1" hole 3x3 like the PR-5000.
Glad to hear you're enjoying yours. Westside really just gives you shorter increments so you can adjust the lift off point for things like bench. It also has the same result with the safeties. Allowing you to position them more precisely so you can still get out from under the bar but it's not getting in the way of your range of motion.
@@GlucksGym Yeah, the idea behind it sounds really well thought out and all, but in practice it seems to be a little less.. practical? To word it differently, in your opinion, is it worth sacrificing all the potential add-ons to have a negligible (?) difference in lift-off height? I feel like I "fell for" the marketing for the West Side spacing, along with being nudged by the concern of my wallet instead of just waiting another month or two and saving for the "big boy" rack. Though, like you said, even the 4000 is more than any home gym really needs. If you could pick ONE for most people, which would it be? Sorry for such a long reply and thanks for yours! I'd be lying if I said your input didn't convince me to take the plunge in the first place!
If I had to pick one for most I'd say Rogue monster Lite or PR 4000 for the costand the reality is we don't all need endless expandability. The only issue is companies don't always make the same things for the "lower" lines otherwise how many the small changes?
How is the lateral rigidity? Does it flex if you stand inside of it and rock side to side against the uprights? I got mine a couple months ago, and while it's super nice, overkill and clearly I'm at no risk of it ever collapsing on me, I was kind of surprised at how easy it was to make it flex/wobble side to side. I don't mean it was coming off the ground, just that it wasn't as rigid as I expected for how beefy it is. Enough to make the weights on the weight horns shake and rattle. However, rep accidentally sent me 41" crossmembers for the rear section, instead of 19", so mine is two 41" sections front to back, which probably makes it a bit weaker laterally. I'm hoping once I switch to 16" crossmembers for the rear, it'll tighten up. In fact Rep didn't ask for those extra 41s back, so I might just use of of them as a brace across the top of the weight storage uprights. Can't hurt, anyway.
It'll sway a bit side to side if you're dipping off the side or pushing from the sides but it's pretty dang solid and I have no worries about it. If you had the rear brace it would make it more tank like but it's so much more rigid then my old Rogue 2x3 and that had the brace.
@@GlucksGym I actually have the rear brace. I noticed yours wobbles similarly to mine when doing dips (I saw that part of the vid right after I commented). I'll see what changes when I get the 16" crossmembers swapped in and put that spare 41" crossmember in up high. I know it's just silly OCD stuff... not wanting lateral sway, but that's why we buy overkill racks in the first place right? On that note, I have never tried the same thing on a rogue monster rack. I suspect their rack does the same thing, though.. unless they use higher strength steel or something.
@Gluck'sGym or any other knowledgeable party, is it conceivable for one to install 2 of the lat pull down systems on the sides of the cage, when using the 41" sides, to effectively create a two pully dual arm system?
I’m starting on my first home gym. I’m debating over the PR-4000 and PR-5000. I’ve watched both of your videos on each of them, but still torn. Anything that would sway you one way or the other?
Oh that's a fun one. The 5000 allows you to build off to the sides easier but is probably an overblown advantage. How many of us truly do? But it is nice to be able to have the freedom to put stuff wherever. But the oversized hardware starts to add up the cost on accessories. Then again 1" racks are often the first to get new stuff but Rep has been doing good lately at releasing it all at the same time. That being said if you're using other comanies stuff who knows. With the 4000 I like Westside spacing because the size difference in Wynie and I is enough that with bench for example with our 5000 we have to set it so low I can't unrack after like 75% 1rm. They're both awesome and Matt's reaction in that video was legit. I don't think you can go wrong tbh. Sorry if that didn't help much
I really like the 5000 abilities to have more attachments...however...you have Bells abilities to cross with Rogue. So I'm deeply considering Bells. Struggling.
6’8” guy here. Great content and very helpful videos. Will the 93” Uprights cut it for me or should I swing for the more expensive 100” Rogue? Any recommendations are appreciated 🙏🏽
Oh Good question... I'm about 6' and I think you can see me do Pullups on it in this one. I do also have a Rogue Monster review that comes out on a few hours. Not sure if It'll help your or hinder your decision 😂
I'm planning on reviewing it. I think it makes sense for people with limited space but probably won't match a separate functional trainer but we'll see. They're also doing some kinda revision or version of the Ares that will be plate loaded. No idea when though
I read some reviews stated that the iso arms damaged their cages, cosmetically speaking. Can anyone confirm or refute these claims? Rep sometimes updates their products, so figured I'd ask around.
What are your thoughts on this rack in an outside space that would be under a carport? Would rarely ever be rained on, however still would be in the elements.
It'll rust over time but should hold up for many years. There's galvanized racks but they may have their own issues and stainless steel but omg the price. I've seen racks outside work well and have been debating something like that for myself
Hey Gluck -- I just bought this rack, and the two "upgraded" jcups. I made sure to use your affiliate link! Both flat & Round Sandwich jcups end up being at the same effective height. Do you know if any of the rogue jcups or ghost or w.e is compatible with this rack give another 1 inch offset compared to the rep sandwich jcups? My girlfriend either has to squat really high or really low!
Rep has lowered j cups but they're not as fancy as the sandwich or round. They'll be releasing others this year as well. I have the same issue with Wynie so I always put it lower and I deal with it and let her squat at her ideal height. Many other j cups will fit though you may want to shim the uhmw to get them to fit tighter if you find they're too loose (going American to metric for example). Thanks for using the link! In 2 weeks or so I'll have a video that talks about the shim thing but I've probably shown it in others. I'll have to look at all my American cups to see which is any that I have straddle that 1"
@@GlucksGym yeah I don't mind getting a nice premium jcup, the lowered rep ones have only one screw in the uhmw so I am worried it will spin. We have two, but literally for her being 5'2 it's hard to find the ideal height on 2 inch hole spacing.
@@GlucksGym I'll send you a video of my garage setup + climbing setup in a few weeks once it's done, you're going to want to visit me in Lake Tahoe to ski and work out and rock climb!
You state the rack you have here at costing around 3 grand. This is apparently with every single attachment and all the bells and whistles as I just went and did a “build your own” with the 93” uprights 30” depth with 2 extra uprights for plate storage along with a multi grip pull up bar and a dip attachment, pin pipe safeties, weight storage horns and j-cups and the price came out to be $1,403. This obviously does not include shipping, which I have not calculated yet. If the price I’m showing by using their website after my build your own is correct, Im buying unless they’re charging $1,500.for shipping. Which with gas prices now may be the case. Anyway, can anyone check behind me to see if the $3 grand is correct as you state here or the $1403. I calculated?
My rack build with everything included is the price I'm quoting for my full build. I pretty much have every option they make. If you get a 4 post or whatever options it'll be much less. They don't "charge" for shipping, it's included.
I will be interested to hear over time if you find the globe pull-up option to be valuable or a gimmick. I would also like to hear why you decided against safety straps. I got a 4000 about a month ago with the exact same color scheme for the same reasons, and yes, I am sure my UPS driver isn’t happy with me either.
I have the safety straps but do wish there was a bit less slack. I got the globe more for fun and to have a third station when there's a lot of people here. It'll probably always remain option 3 and something just to mess around with.
I priced this with various attachments and everything and I told you on Instagram the one that I setup was over $2,000 so I can imagine what this cost you haha
Their base racks aren't always far off in price but having recently bought a Rogue Monster and Rep PR 5000 I can say my full loaded PR came with a lot more for a lot less than my almost bare Rogue Monster. Both great racks though.
Great video. About to make some big purchases at Rep (the whole home gym), how do I make sure you're getting the affiliate % on the whole order (not just for the one product you're linking)?
If you click the link, typically any affiliate link, doesn't even have to be the product, it'll give me credit for everything you purchase. So you could click my rep link and go crazy or any company for that matter. Only 1 company I've found the damn links just never work.
I got the 100” TITAN rack on Black Friday. Yes, it is way bigger than I’ll ever need, yes it was expensive, but it’s too fucking sweet looking to not get go all out
@@jacobwilson7030 pull ups was an issue with my Rogue rack. This is much better but I really debated a Rogue or someone else for 100". Maybe on the next one and I have rings I use a lot too.

I got the ethos power rack 3x3 with 1" holes. I love it best of all. It takes attachments from rogue, rep , and titan series. Love the finish on that 5000 👍👍
Glad it's working for you!
Rogue spotter arms also take up about 10 inches of space on the uprights on the Monster lite racks.
I was hoping for a snowsuit at the end! You have quickly become one of my fave youtube home gyms! Always funny but always great content
new rack is sick! Rep is doing some really exciting things and climbing up in the home gym world…listening to the people
Damn you're not the first person to say something like that. I missed out on the last level of that outfit 😢 thank you so much!
Great review! I love the casual appearance of more and more cold weather gear as you film hahaha!
My toes legit did hurt by the end 😢😂
Congratulations on the new rack! My PR-4000 is arriving on Monday and I can’t wait. Based on my email/chat interactions with REP I feel that they are a great company!
I've had great interactions as well. Good luck and let us know how it is!
Bought the Metallic Black PR 5000 - 80" H / 30" D / with 16" weight storage extension. Also, just bought the Ares pulley system. Packaging and shipping was excellent in my opinion.
What do you think about the area? I am looking at it now.
Great job as usual, Winnie!
What did she do!? 😂
Out of town and missing my new pr 5000 so I figured I'd watch Gluck's review of it for the 10th time.
I knew those views were coming from somewhere 😂
Cool review. I was fully expecting you to have on a Baklava and Snow goggles by the end! 😂 The setup looks sweet!
damn I knew I should've taken it to another level. Thanks!
I’ve been watching your videos for six months now and you helped me decide what to get for my home gym (used your links). I went with the RM6 and am putting it together this week.
Just want to say thanks for the content, and for answering my questions in the comments!
That's awesome! I'm glad I could be of help and hope the rack brings you many years of happiness (and gains). Thanks 😊
just got my blue / black PR-5000 ... ya its overkill but its beautiful!! My wife was like "why don't you look at me as lovingly as you look at your new rack..." :)
Did you say “well I look at your rack too” hahaha had to say it
oh no... hahaha
I’ve owned mine for nearly two years. I love it. Such quality for the price.
Great to hear!
Awesome review as always! Love how you had layer up as the video went on. 😂
As much as it was a joke it was also legit, I was frozen.
"You know I needed that big back end"
Cut to shot of Wynie squatting 👀
hahaha I had to make the joke obvious
@@GlucksGym No one had commented on it yet, so I had to make one.
Overall, great video. Gives me something to think about. Just seeing the beefiness of the PR5000 makes me want it. The 1" holes just make the 5/8" holes on the 4000 look puny and insufficient even though I know that they will be more than enough to handle the weights I'll be throwing around.
It's too classy and big for my but no regrets. And thanks
Great review. Very thorough as always. Everything said was spot on.
Wow, you've now become the master of the dry delivery double entendre and innuendo. I was having to rewatch parts for the info because my innuendo receptors were on overload. 😂 Lol
I always debate if I should emphasize them or if people will get them all Hahah
@@GlucksGym got all of them, including where the punchline delivery was the scene transitions. Lol. You guys are killing it!
A very thorough review my friend. Excellent work! I was planning on going with this rack but found a used Sorinex Base Camp and could not refuse the price.
Thank you! You got yourself a hell of a rack either way!
Boosting the algorithm. Great review as always.
There goes my hero
I’ve had my pr 5000 for 8 months now and I love it. Nicest rack I’ve ever used
Glad to hear it!
Nice review! I went with some money savings and got the PR-4000. 18 months later and I still love it.
Great rack! If I didn't already review it that would probably be what this video ending up being
I love the additional clothing and bundling as the video progresses
It was life or death out there
I’m setting here watching your video waiting on an ice storm heading way so I feel your pain! Lol
Man that rack is over the top nice! I kinda wish a would’ve gotten it but honest my PR4000 is more than enough for me after almost 2 years of use.
I agree, Rep give you a good bang for your buck quality vs cost.
The PR-4000 is a great rack too though. If I didn't review it already I probably would've gotten it.
Excellent work my friend 👍 Thank you for sharing 👍
Thank you!
We've reviewed it but since then they've updated the hole spacing to be equal on all 4 sides like on the 5000
@@GlucksGym Thanks! I'll look at the 4000 too! Love your channel, and your humour!
I got a pair of REP's urethane weight horns for my change plates and those are very nice, just like you say.
I like their chrome ones too but this is next level
I feel like I need to see a picture of this thing, and thanks!
ruclips.net/video/C0vcGP4BCgo/видео.html
Never done this before, but hopefully this link shows the rack and my custom goodies.
Nice new rack. lol forward to seeing all the attachments you got for it.
Me too haha. Wynie might not be
Really helpful review as I’m strongly considering getting one of these to add to my own home gym. Seems really high quality!
Sweet upgrade Gluck. Man I think the biggest cringe for me upgrading to 1” holes is all the money in new accessories! 🤪
those accessories... damn they add up
Very funny how you add more winter gear at each cut away. Always make me laugh. Appreciate the content, keep it up (and I don't mean with the little blue pill)
I'll try. The idea just kinda came when I started filming and it was so cold. Then I was really glad I did it as I got colder
Keep up the great content!
Thank you! I'll do my best

Haha
Which black Friday sale was this? That's a heck of a deal. Great rack either way though

Nice! I’m sure we will see a lot of new equipment this year as the competition “stiffens”. 💪🏻
It should soon. A lot of money and new companies sprung up and they'll have to sort it out
A PR5000 V2 in 30” depth was my first home gym purchase. If an F5 tornado came through my area, I would probably pick it as my tornado shelter.
Hahaha that's some faith!

lol I love this channel, just kept adding more clothing as the video is progresses
Love to heat it! I kept thinking about doing a clothes joke in other videos but this one it was kind of necessary. I was freezing!
Great review, brother!
Thank you!
I kept hoping by the end of the video you would have on some many layers on that your arms forced out to the sides; parallel to the floor.
A few people have commented about by the end they had hoped (insert thing) and I really feel like I didn't take it far enough
@@GlucksGym what does rogue have up their sleeve? Something to compete with the ARES system?
Duffallo bar and a multi grip whew you can change handles and sleeves if what I've seen teased this week. I think Rep pressured them some
@@GlucksGym Gotcha, yep I saw that. Thanks man. Really enjoy your channel.
This video was "Dress up with Gluck"
Hopefully nobody figures out this is actually a fashion channel
Greetings from Mississauga, ON Canada where its a nice 16 degree F here (-9 C). Still wearing shorts to go to the store and BBQ on the deck !!
Damn you making me look weak
I was hoping Gluck would be wearing a balaclava or something by the end lol
I'm really starting to think I didn't take this one far enough 😢
Considering a 6 post with weight storage. Would it be steady enough without anchoring into floor? Saw rep’s omni with the on-grade crossmembers and pr-4000 front extensions, but want this rack to be futureproof-ed as best possible.
I've had four 6 post tracks with weight storage. Never anchored any of them.
Congrats Gluck that rack was well earned. I’m having buyer’s remorse on my RML490C 😆
That's a great rack though! Thanks
Living thr dream getting the best from all them.
Very nice review! Although, I don’t regret my RM-6, I would have been extremely happy with this baby. If only they had what I was looking for in stock, and you didn’t need a computer science degree to figure out how to order it 🤦🏽♂️.
Also if I’m ever feeling down, I’m just going to watch this video in reverse and convince myself I’m getting a review and a show 🙃😂😉
Hahaha it's always a show over here! I'd hope nobody would regret either rack. They're both amazing purchases.
We love you!
😁 Awww thanks! That's just cause you want me to check out that bar. NOW WHERE IS IT?!
Curious if anyone can answer, does the Rogue Velocitor fit on the Rep rack?
LOL! Love the box fort!
I insisted on the box fort but really Wynie does the intros and that was my only requirement 😂
I mean rack
Hard to compete with them at the in value/quality. They seem to have a lot going on atm which should help them gain a lot of sales.
What configuration of this PR 5000 would you recommend if I wanted to add the dual plate loaded Athena while not having to bolt this thing to the floor? If I went with the plate loaded version, I would have to sacrifice the rear plate storage uprights, as that would get in the way of the pulley trolleys.
I haven’t finished watching and I am so jealous

Hey Gluck great video !! One question 30 or 41 inch depth ? Thanks a lot
My PR 5000 is 41" but my Rogue Monster is 30". I prefer the space of the 41.
I swear every video I think “how can they incorporate Winnie’s booty into this video”. And respectfully…..THANK YOU. Haha 😂
Honestly it's just how she dresses in her home gym 😂 we've given up trying to hide it
Solid review, do you utilize the handles of that pull up bar? Seem functional but highly annoying
@@GlucksGym That's how I ended up with the 4000; it's good to know the thought process adds up and checks out!
@@Threxx it's the same basic thing with them, same gauge, same construction
Uncle Gluck, do you think you could do a review on the Rogue Monster Lite RML - 390 FULLW their their foldable rack
Funny you ask because I really wanted to try to put that next to this rack but I'm not sure how well I can make the wall space work
@Gluck'sGym or any other knowledgeable party, is it conceivable for one to install 2 of the lat pull down systems on the sides of the cage, when using the 41" sides, to effectively create a two pully dual arm system?
Sorry if that didn't help much
Appreciate the input. Was leaning towards the 5000. Probably just going to roll with it. Enjoy the videos. Thanks!

Oh Good question... I'm about 6' and I think you can see me do Pullups on it in this one. I do also have a Rogue Monster review that comes out on a few hours. Not sure if It'll help your or hinder your decision 😂
What do you think of the ares attachment? And what do you think they’ll do for people that already have the lay/row attachment
Do u know if titan atrachmwnta fit pr 5000?
Cries in Canadian. 🇨🇦
They're supposed to be working on getting shipping available out there this year
You state the rack you have here at costing around 3 grand.
Stupid me. I just saw the strap safeties watching the video again!
Just under 3k, I say it quickly when referring to Rogue's cost
@@GlucksGym I heard it at the end but as I said that thing is a monster I really enjoy reviews
Comes close to rogue price after accessorizing. I think it is beautiful. If Rogue is Ferrari, Rep is definitely Lamborghini!
Their base racks aren't always far off in price but having recently bought a Rogue Monster and Rep PR 5000 I can say my full loaded PR came with a lot more for a lot less than my almost bare Rogue Monster. Both great racks though.
How many reps should I do for squats?
Great video. About to make some big purchases at Rep (the whole home gym), how do I make sure you're getting the affiliate % on the whole order (not just for the one product you're linking)?
I think the whole order gives the affiliate % as long as it is done at the same time.
If you click the link, typically any affiliate link, doesn't even have to be the product, it'll give me credit for everything you purchase. So you could click my rep link and go crazy or any company for that matter. Only 1 company I've found the damn links just never work.
Do rogue monster attachments like j-cups etc. fit on the rep 5000 rack?
Things that need only 1 hole tend to line up well but Rep's 3x3 is actually like 2.95x2.95 so they might be a little looser.
I think we all knew this was coming, due to him still having a 2x3 rack.
Haha and I think I showed it on IG like a month ago
I got the 100” TITAN rack on Black Friday. Yes, it is way bigger than I’ll ever need, yes it was expensive, but it’s too fucking sweet looking to not get go all out
That's a tall boy!
@@GlucksGym being able to OHP and fully extend pull-ups is well worth it lol
@@jacobwilson7030 pull ups was an issue with my Rogue rack. This is much better but I really debated a Rogue or someone else for 100". Maybe on the next one and I have rings I use a lot too.
@@GlucksGym well….let’s see that ring video 💍💍
