    I've looked at several videos trying to decide between the PR-4000 and the PR-5000. I was also concerned because I am also 6'2" and wondered if the 80" was too short. I also wondered if I needed four posts or six, etc.. You were the only one that addressed every one my concerns. You really did an outstanding job. Thank you!

I am really wanting to purchase the REP PR-5000 as a first piece to a new gym build. However, I am going to have to give up a fair amount of my woodworking space in my garage. I am getting tired of paying $70 a month for a gym membership. I do have a few home fitness items, so I do workout at home at least once per week. I may as well make the leap if I can part with my woodworking area. Thanks for all the insight. Great video.

As for the woodworking area, I feel you! I do the same but haven’t used my Garage space for it like I’ve wanted to. If I already had a dedicated space, it would be difficult to give up, especially if I used it often. Good luck!

      @@twistedbarbell3950 I'm trying to decide between the 4000 and 5000 right now. Any part of you wish you grabbed the 5000?

      @@whateverthisisok yeah, although many like the WS hole spacing of the 4K, I don’t find it to be a deal breaker and I would prefer to have even spaced holes throughout (including the sides). Other than that, I loved the fact that most accessories were typically less expensive for the 4K than they are for the 5K.

    Awesome rack and great review sir! 👍🏼 I ordered the PR 1100 yesterday for my spare bedroom. Wish I had the space for that beast you have. Rep makes great affordable equipment. I got the FB 5000 and AB 3000 as well. One day, when I get more space, I definitely plan on going with the 4000 series. Sub and like.

      Thank you Landry and agree with your assessment of Rep. you got two good benches to work with. Good luck with your training and making the most of what you’ve got!

      @@twistedbarbell3950 I've been seeing notes online where people say it's not really 3"x3" because its imported and as it was manufactured in China, it's actually based on metric, so Rogue parts (USA Manufactured) dont always fit the snuggest? Have you had any issues with that?

    • @twistedbarbell3950
      @twistedbarbell3950  2 года назад +1

      @@cspellman that’s correct. I have not had issues with this myself, as the only accessory from Rogue I use on the rack is the Matador Lite dip bar and that came with no UHMW. I added felt liners to the inside to prevent rattling of metal on metal contact and its quiet and snug now. Depends on what you may want to add from other manufacturers. Most accessories from Rep are cheaper than other MFR’s anyway.
