Super thorough review. Will have to point people here
Thanks man and I appreciate your support!
@@twistedbarbell3950 no problem at all. I have pretty much everything you do minus the belt squat attachment. Do you plan on getting the iso arms? I missed the pre order
I've looked at several videos trying to decide between the PR-4000 and the PR-5000. I was also concerned because I am also 6'2" and wondered if the 80" was too short. I also wondered if I needed four posts or six, etc.. You were the only one that addressed every one my concerns. You really did an outstanding job. Thank you!
Thanks Truman - happy to help!
This is quite possibly the best no-nonsense review I’ve ever seen on any fitness topic or product. I’m likely buying the REP PR-5000, but this was a helpful video nonetheless. Hope to see much more content like this from you in the future. 💪
Thanks for watching!
Did you get it?
@@mikemcconville2495 Yes I did, along with a REP bench, the ARES attachment, and a whole lot of other accessories and attachments. I’ve since also become a REP affiliate because I love the brand so much, and I plan to post a review of my own on my channel one day soon. It’s definitely one of the best purchases I’ve ever made and allows me to get a full workout at home. Highly recommend. 💪
Very in-depth review, I like how you touch on the nuances like the extra ½ inch on the lat/low pulleys. I think your channel is very underrated for the quality of content you produce. 4k video is also a nice touch!
Thank you Jacob and I do like to be thorough and appreciate the kind words! Perhaps you could help spread the word and either way, I appreciate you watching and supporting my channel.
Of all the channels I have seen (gluck's gym, garage gym reviews, etc.) this is the most useful, to the point, no bullshit channel. I unsubscribed to the others and only use them when I need a 2nd opinion. New sub here. Good work.
Wow! Thank you and that's exactly my goal - not a fan of bullshit! 😂
Damn, dude… That review was not just informative, but everything sounded really smooth. Big props!!!
Thanks Biz!
You're the only channel that mentioned the issue with the rear cross base preventing incline benching inside the rack with certain benches. I don't mind doing my inclines outside the rack but it's a good thing to know for those that do.
Wanted to be thorough because it needs to be known 😉
Really informative and clearly a lot of effort was put into editing and scripting this. Like everyone else has said, this is one of the most thorough and informative videos on this subject matter. Thank you for the hard work!
Greatly appreciated
Holy crap this is one of the most straight forward and concise reviews ever. Thank you for this review.
My pleasure Grayson
This was very helpful especially your explanations of all the add-ons. Thank you!

Very thorough and great b-roll editing of you doing various lifts. The most helpful video ive seen understanding building out a rep fitness rack online. 💪
Thanks and glad I could help!
What a wonderful presentation. I learned a great deal. Thank you for taking the time to make the video.
Thank you and I’m happy to help! That’s why I do it all.
Excellent review! I have had my 93" PR 5000 six uprights with lat attachment for a few weeks. Beyond my expectations. Thank you for the help you provided.

Just ordered mine. This has been excellent! I can’t wait to get mine and start building it.
Thanks Edwin and congrats on your order!
Thanks so much for the detailed review that covers all aspects of the rack and attachments. I ended up getting the AB-41000 and PR-5000. Hope to see more reviews and tips in the near future from the channel!
Thanks An and there certainly will be more to come. Good choice on your part and good luck!
Happy 4000 Anniversary!

Your like the Morgan Freeman of gym reviews
Thanks
Wow, you gave a great review, and allot of info. You speak quickly and clearly.
Thanks Mark
You have a great presentation style. Very straightforward and information dense. Subscribed.
Thank you Norman! I cringe at my earlier stuff, so I like to bullet my ideas to stay on topic, while also providing the info I think viewers will expect. Welcome to the fam!
Tremendous video sir. That was an extremely thorough and in-depth review. I've been looking at this rack for close to a year now and I think I'll finally pull the trigger on it.
Thanks Jared and glad I could help. Good luck with your setup!
Looking to get the 4000 and this was the best review I came across ! Well done
Thanks Jason and you’d be happy with the PR4K.
Thank you so much for providing the dimensions for everything. I couldn't find this anywhere!
My pleasure
I'm in the middle of researching a new garage setup. Your video is probably the best explanation of a true use-case on RUclips! Thanks!
Thanks Chad! Good luck with your setup!
Damn...great review! I learned a great deal and sure appreciate your hard work!
Appreciate that Gordon!
Thank you. Exactly what I needed as i am considering a home gym upgrade. You have really though this through
You’re quite welcome and I’m glad I could help.
Excellent and informative review. Thank you for this.
My pleasure.
Exceptionally thorough review. Off to the Rep PR 4000 configuration tool I go. Thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
Bought the PR-4000 today with a bunch of accessories using your link, hope you get a kickback! Thanks for the high quality reviews and detailed information
Thank you Jedi and it’s a great time to buy with the sales they have! Congrats and hope you get your equipment soon.
Fantastic review. Your channel is underrated. Quality, straightforward content with no nonsense. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this rack for an apartment and this was very informative, thank you.
I appreciate that and glad I could help! Good luck with your setup.
I just discovered your channel as I am in the market for a new power rack. Fantastic video, the best one I have seen and you do a great job of addressing all the questions and nuances of this rack.
Welcome aboard and thanks!
Great job best review of the PR-4000 on RUclips.
Thank you Aden!
I just placed an order for the pulley system. I was on the fence about adding additional posts but after watching this I don’t really see the need. I’m gradually upgrading my old gear, thanks for posting! ✊
Nice! Always my pleasure and glad I could help. You’re going to love the addition of the LLR.
Amazing review man, just awesome and so well thought out with your setup!
Thank you Joshua!
FANTASTIC video. I love your calm explanation, gym setup, and detailed elaboration. Your audio is nice and crisp which I really appreciate. I also like your black and red combo, overall this gym setup looks great.
Thanks much Mike ! I appreciate the feedback!
A very detailed and informative review. Bravo sir, and thank you.
Thanks and my pleasure
Excellent review, thank you!
Thanks
this is the most comprehensive review I have seen on the pr-4000 and perhaps all gym reviews
Thanks Joseph!
This is the best review about any product I have ever seen.
Wow, thanks Lee
Yo, this answers all my questions about height, 4v6 post, weight storage.
You did an incredible job listing out everything about this rack. Thank you!
Thanks Matt and glad I could help!
Best review video I've seen by far, incredibly helpful. Will likely be getting an identical setup as you have in this review. Will definitely use your affiliate link. Thank you, sir!
My pleasure and Thanks Adam
This was just what I needed for a video. I’m at the research portion for a rack and attachments. I am 6’ 2” as well. My max ceiling height is 90”. I would have to go with the 80” uprights. I’m glad you added video of you using the rack in different ways. It gives me a better idea on what you truly can accomplish. You deserve my subscription. Keep “pumping” those videos out!
Thanks and glad it helped you with your decision. If you do purchase from Rep and felt this video truly helped, please consider using my affiliate link in the description. Good luck!
Clear, concise and very informative. Better than many channels with 100k subscribers. Well dine.
Thank you Susan!
Very helpful review and walkthrough. Thanks
My pleasure Jeff
I’ll just echo what several people have said. After watching a few other reviews for racks today, it was so nice to listen to someone well-spoken and very informative. Great job with this review!
Thank you Steve and appreciate you watching!
Easily the best video I have seen for a rack review. This is the exact setup I'm looking at getting. Between this and the Titan X3 rack.
Thanks and good luck with your setup
Wow. Crazy good video. Great voice, and presemtation skills, such masterclass stuff! I think i decided to purchase this exact build too, pr4000 with weighted plate lat pull
Thank you and hope you enjoy your rack!
Stellar review!
Thank you!
Thanks Patrick.
Great video. 👍 Very thorough. I have a REP AB3000 bench and it goes back a little further so incline within PR4000 rack is not a problem. I guess it really comes down to the type of bench you have.
Thanks for confirming that, as many have wondered.
Eloquence is a lost art and you Sir make an excellent ambassador for it. I greatly enjoyed this video and have subscribed.
We’ll thank you kindly Tommy!
Lucky day 🙏 I found a soft spoken reviewer to guide beginners like me😊
Glad I can help
Foot Print layout extremely helpful. Thank you.
I'm happy to help.
You couldn’t explain it any better. What a great indepth review. You thought of everything when explaining the in’s and out’s of your build, with great detail and justification. I am really wanting to purchase the REP PR-5000 as a first piece to a new gym build. However, I am going to have to give up a fair amount of my woodworking space in my garage. I am getting tired of paying $70 a month for a gym membership. I do have a few home fitness items, so I do workout at home at least once per week. I may as well make the leap if I can part with my woodworking area. Thanks for all the insight. Great video.
Thank you! The PR5K is a great rack and the new 4K’s have the same hole spacing it keep the 5/8” hardware and hole size. It costs less than 5K, so worth considering. As for the woodworking area, I feel you! I do the same but haven’t used my Garage space for it like I’ve wanted to. If I already had a dedicated space, it would be difficult to give up, especially if I used it often. Good luck!
those decline situps with the roller pad idea is awesome! I'm definitely going to use that going forward.
Glad I could help!
Best REP Fitness review I have seen! Thank you.
Thanks!
@@twistedbarbell3950 Just ordered the PR 5000, 93 inch height with 30 inch crossmembers, rear base stabilizer and front foot extensions.
@@vnice429 awesome. That’s a nice setup!
My guy. This was a solid review. Cheers. 👊🏼
Thanks man
Great review, Marcus. Good to see you still train on yer glorious REP PR-4K gear. I just tried to buy via your affiliate link here now that raw clear coat is restocked. I’ve waited 16 mos on this color for four 30” crossmembers and four 80” uprights! Uprights are not yet available. I’ll update you here. 👍🏻
Thanks Flex. That is an awesome color and hope you get what you want and soon!
Great review - I've been searching for overall measurements for the PR 4000 with Lat row for days and can't find it - so this is much appreciated. I've been planning on a 6 post but after this review, I think I can save some space and look at a 4 post. Interesting note on the hole placement 4k vs5k models - You've just thrown my REP config into the blender lol. Beautiful setup BTW.
Sorry for potentially stalling your plans, but know that you really can’t go wrong with either rack. The whole gap isn’t a be all, end all, just a minor annoyance at times. Glad it helped out with dimensions for your planning and thanks for watching!
Excellent video. Great information. Thanks!
Thanks and glad you enjoyed it
Thank you so much for this excellent video. I was researching PR-4000 vs. PR-5000 power racks and whether or not a four-post needs to be bolted down. You answered all of those questions and so much more! Thanks so much and Sub and Like added!
Glad I could help and thanks for watching
wow such quality video. Appreciate the information!
Thanks Leek!
Thank you! I really like your setup!
Thanks for watching
Great video love all the info thank you for the review
My pleasure and thanks for watching
That shirt!! Nice review and the red powder coat looks great. You have got that rack set up well and organized. I was wondering about the round J-cups and have yet to try them. Great job using your space well and getting those gains!
Thanks Rylan, appreciate the support as always! I do love the red PC! The round J cups are very nice and in fact nicer than mine since they now come with the stainless logo plates.
Great review and thank you!
Thanks for watching Simmo
Great video, very descriptive. Thank you.
Thanks Jake
Fantastic review, thank you
Thanks Connor!
This was a very helpful video thanks so much!
My pleasure Dan.
Wow very informative video! just in time. just set up my pr 4000!
Thanks Kyle and good luck with yours.
After watching multiple videos of yours in the last few hours I can say this channel is very under rated. You present the content very well…stay with it and this channel is going to get huge!
Thank you Anthony! I greatly appreciate the positive feedback.
Well paced and thought out review. Thank you very much.
Thanks Ryan
@@twistedbarbell3950 I'm trying to decide between the 4000 and 5000 right now. Any part of you wish you grabbed the 5000?
@@whateverthisisok yeah, although many like the WS hole spacing of the 4K, I don’t find it to be a deal breaker and I would prefer to have even spaced holes throughout (including the sides). Other than that, I loved the fact that most accessories were typically less expensive for the 4K than they are for the 5K.
Great video brother! Keep up the great work.
Thanks Domingo!
Awesome rack and great review sir! 👍🏼 I ordered the PR 1100 yesterday for my spare bedroom. Wish I had the space for that beast you have. Rep makes great affordable equipment. I got the FB 5000 and AB 3000 as well. One day, when I get more space, I definitely plan on going with the 4000 series. Sub and like.
Thank you Landry and agree with your assessment of Rep. you got two good benches to work with. Good luck with your training and making the most of what you’ve got!
great review, lots of headaches can be avoided as a result.
Thanks Craig
Sub added, really one of the best coverages.
Thank you!
First video of yours I've seen and it was super helpful! Been looking at the pr4000 for a couple weeks now and this might help me pull the trigger. Thanks!
You're quite welcome Chris and good luck with your choice!
@@twistedbarbell3950 I've been seeing notes online where people say it's not really 3"x3" because its imported and as it was manufactured in China, it's actually based on metric, so Rogue parts (USA Manufactured) dont always fit the snuggest? Have you had any issues with that?
@@cspellman that’s correct. I have not had issues with this myself, as the only accessory from Rogue I use on the rack is the Matador Lite dip bar and that came with no UHMW. I added felt liners to the inside to prevent rattling of metal on metal contact and its quiet and snug now. Depends on what you may want to add from other manufacturers. Most accessories from Rep are cheaper than other MFR’s anyway.
