    Great video, single arm lat work is a great idea and really excited to try the glute work on a bench. Much appreciated and God bless.

    Been waiting for a vid like this. When my lat pull down finally gets here I’ll have a reference. Thanks!

    I have been enjoying your videos. Your reviews are very thorough, well done.
    I was wondering if you could do single arm fly with the lat pull-down, and if you have tried it?

      Thanks! I have not tried that. It may be difficult though because the lightest weight is 20lbs.

    You can do preacher curls a little more comfortably if you put your leg roller on (for me anyway) number 5 on the rack. It’s a lot more stable than just sitting and leaning over without the support.

      Agreed and when using both arms that’s how I do it (shown from 3:08 - 3:17). If using the pulley with one arm and a handle, I just brace against the knee like I would with a DB.

      I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you that your review was a big part of me picking up a 24" pr4000. Should be here Monday. Looking forward to adding the lat row.

    I'm just waiting for the lat/low row to be in stock. Seems like they never will be lol

      Yeah Rand, it’s crazy how stock is still an issue, but global supply is in a frenzy these days. Lots of Cargo ships just parked off our coasts with all kinds of merch. Hopefully you’ll get yours soon!

    If you have a decline bench, put in decline and sit on the lowest part for killer low row. Better than sitting on the floor as it allows you to really stabilize yourself using the foot plate.

    Can't you do whatever you want to do with the belt squat on the low row part of the cable? The belt squat seems more like it's just a cable extension.

    • @twistedbarbell3950
      @twistedbarbell3950  3 года назад +1

      It basically is an extension, but where it differs is the ability to go straight up and down where the low part of the lat low row would require you to basically be on top of the rear bar stabilizer. As an example of that, I demonstrated the ability to do calf raises at the LLR without the belt squat. It’s not as easy, as there is a forward pull that differs from the under-pull of the BS. Splitting hairs really but the difference is about ease of use and the general user experience.

      @@twistedbarbell3950 That’s an excellent point as a forward pull creates a sheering tension on the spine. Im hoping the anticipated REP utility seat will come with a hole in the center to allow you to belt squat on a platform. If not, I might just customize and drill a hole in it. 🤔
