Oh for sure, but for the price you can definitely make your home gym A LOT better with more pieces and weight capacity but for space saving, it’s definitely number 1
More interested in the release of the Maiak Trainer. With their $1 deposit for VIP release pricing at $500 and a 220-lb resistance it's going to make Voltra think twice about their pricing. No subscription and you don't even need their app to use it.
Im so happy you got to experience ATX. i have my double garage gym specced out with ATX stuff. The quality is insane and its a fraction of the price of rogue. Hopefully it will get to the US soon!
The one piece of equipment that completely changed my little gym was Buffalo Bully Fabrication’s Bully Glyder. Replaces any top loaded weight pin for a cable system and attaches to the rack. American made. Super smooth. It’s awesome.
Definitely show some commercial pieces. Home gyms do have room for 1 or 2 bits of commercial gear that people REALLY love that hits their muscles just right.
Weight pins / loading pins !!! These are so versatile in the right hands. I clip my cable attachments to them and do some kettlebell swings, rows, use them on their own as grip training implements, add weight in interesting angles and places, set up pulleys for a lat pull-down, and basically turn a pile of 10lb. weight plates into adjustable dumbbells/kettlebells.
Love my Freak Athlete, bought it January. When they released their updated one later with the colored knobs they changed their warranty to 2 years. Mine has a lifetime, reached out to Freak Athlete who said any purchases before March 22 has the lifetime warranty and 2 years after that date.
Could we get a review of the Eleiko Prestera ecosystem? It looks amazing but getting an in-depth look at how the pieces work together and how those might work with other attachments would be amazing!
I am obsessed with the Gymleco leg equipment…looking forward to the review for that one. For years I’ve considered the powertec leg press as the one to get when I’m ready to add a leg press but Gymleco one is sick. I can’t get over that beautiful design and compact nature of it. I just hope it’s not complete unaffordable for home purchasers.
With my REP Ares 2.0 coming I pulled the trigger on a pinkies up "Larry Scott" lat pulldown bar via the Fat Bar Reverse Lat Pulldown 48 bar that EliteFTS sells ($81 with a discount code). Larry Scott passed 10 years ago but his website is still up and even though you can't order from it anymore you can find his "upside down lat pulldown bar" there. The description explains why a fat bar is necessary... "All back work should move the scapula through it's entire range of movement, from full adduction to full abduction. If you start the exercise with the little finger higher than the thumb. It makes it easier to get into full abduction position. That's why the bar should be turned up on the outside not turned down. The bar needs to be at least 1 1/4' in diameter and it should never be revolving. Otherwise the bar will twist right out of your hands."
I know Coop likes the shogun nordic, but honestly, I think the tib bar guy nordic back extension is better. The angle adjustment on the TBG nordic keeps the work at the bottom of the rep (which is the most difficult portion). the shogun one is basically just a fancy way of stacking pads and you can't work the end range with assistance.
Hey Coop! Can we please review a full gym of all Temu machines? How low can we go??? I think it would be awesome to weigh out the pros and cons for a low budget machine gym.
I'd defiantly like to see what you did to the Free Motion Functional Trainer, and even a comparison to the Prime Fitness Functional Trainer. Thanks Coop.

The most innovative Specialty bar is the United Fit cambered bar. That bar can handle over 1000 lbs, you can detach the weight horns and use the multi grip handle for cable lat/low row attachment. The middle portion is cut out so you won't hit your face while doing shoulder/overhead presses.
I see them for sale so much on marketplace. Only cambered swiss bar I wont buy. The design looks awful and the functions you listed makes me doubt anyone going through that trouble to do it. I have several other cable attachments and bars that do those excercises better. You can achieve the same excercises you mentioned on the rep cambered swiss bar without removing the sleeves.
Coop, you gotta take a look at the MAXUM Fitness SX2 and the Force USA C10 (with their sliding bench), to me those seem like the most innovative and feature-packed all-in-one combo racks. Way more functionality compared to the Rep and Rogue options featured in this video and more affordable too.

I haven't been able to find any other racks with one-inch hole spacing and a built-in functional trainer for the F-220's price point in Canada. The downside is that it has some unusual upright measurements (4 cm x 8 cm) that prevent it from being compatible with attachments from other brands, even with spacers. I didn't need any attachments though, so not an issue for me.

Hi Buddy, have you ever heard about Atletica? A German brand from Mainz? I believe this would be perfect for any garage since the price and value is incredible. Would love to see you testing the Atletica X10-Multipresse Classic version
You should review The XPT spotter bar.... no need for spotter arms. It's essentially a Smith Machine attachment to and existing rack but while you still have the free up and down movement, you can still get the lateral back and forth movement. Meaning it's like a Smith Machine when you do something like bench press... but because it runs on a track back and forth as well (you can also lock the barbell in place so it's exactly like a Smith Machine) you still have to utilize stabilizer muscles while benching.... or squatting... or OH pressing. It has these hand brakes essentially you can slide up and down the bar... wherever your hand placement is. Let go of the "hand brake" and the bar will lock into the nearest hole on your rack. Bulletproof fitness is coming out with a Smith Machine rack attachment as well which looks pretty sweet. But unlike the XPT version their's is a straight up Smith Machine attachment - no lateral movement on the bar just the traditional fixed path of a Smith Machine. Worth checking out at least. I don't think you've reviewed this thing yet. XPT makes the "self spotting bar" you can use with your existing rack or you can buy the xpt rack which has the self spotting bar with it. I'd like to see an in depth review of this thing at least. thexpt.com/product/xpt-self-spotting-bar/

Another great Coop vid! I love Prime fitness gear too but they aren't friendly to the home gym buyer. I was going to buy their functional trainer but the shipping alone to California was almost $2000, and the lead time was 6-8weeks to build it. I also called into their number and the guy that answers the phone was super snooty and aloof after finding out I wasn't a commercial gym buyer.. He made a few statements making it crystal clear Prime is at best ambivalent about entering the direct to consumer market. The guy couldn't get off the phone with me fast enough. Oh well, I went ahead spent a lot of money with a few other vendors and paid $0 shipping.

I think the force USA C10 base bench and the C10 sliding bench should of won most innovative. The base model can hook up to a cable tower to do leg extensions and leg curls, comes with preacher curl pad and is vertically storing for a good price. I want to use with my bells cable tower. The sliding bench can allow to do hack squats and leg presses. Pretty crazy.

You can review the big machines all you want! I’d need to remodel my house into a commercial gym to make space and also win the lottery to be able to buy any one of them so I won’t be buying, but I’ll watch 😂
Surely, the VOLTRA could replace all gym equipment? I know you tried placing it on the floor but didn't get low enough and that using two machines together isn't synchronised but those issues are minimal and can be ironed out with extended use and creativity (along with perhaps some software updates). One thing that I noticed is that you can't really use the machine for rowing/cardio work (although, the company says some users use the damper mode to get close).
Great video! I highly recommend the MOBO Board by Jay Dicharry, a PT. It's fixed a lot of my balance and foot strength issues, and you can do squats if you have two of them.
Average Joe Innovation's Powerblock handles are wayyyyyyy etter than JD Equipment.. It just looks better and you can request the level of aggressiveness of the knurl you want.
Never used those but compared them to jd and bare steel. I went bare steel with stainless steel cerakoted red. Absolutely wont sell them now despite the reppins coming.
Hi Coop, I leaning towards Fringe Sport The Dane. However, I just came across Jacked Up Fitness Power Rack Plus. To me the both seem similar (major difference is Jacked Up has a smith machine). Have you done a review for any Jacked Up Fitness products?? Thanks
I think it would be helpful for you to chim in on the PRX lever arm controversy. PRX's tone def response video was almost worse than their initial transgression.
Would be nice if you explained why are the machines good (saying it’s innovative is not enough). It sounds like a hard sell this way. For anyone watching, adjusting the resistance profile to the strength curve is not only important for hypertrophy. It’s important for everything.

With your footprint in the home gym community, I would love to see a video on the controversy surrounding the PRX Halo Arms.
Video series on making a DIY outdoor gym out of a shipping container. Mounting squat racks on the outside and using the inside for storage. Just like beaver fit does
A man of culture a lever espresso machine (a cremina one at that).
You can review the big machines all you want!
I’d need to remodel my house into a commercial gym to make space and also win the lottery to be able to buy any one of them so I won’t be buying, but I’ll watch 😂
I had me at knurled portafilter handle. Career coffee professional that’s impressive with your home machine
got my ares 2.0 special edition on pre-order!
Same, and looking at finding a way to use the new Force USA C10 sliding bench with it. I think with the REP utility seat as a foot plate it's doable.
Bought the Ares 2.0 when I saw Coop's first look video
Surely, the VOLTRA could replace all gym equipment? I know you tried placing it on the floor but didn't get low enough and that using two machines together isn't synchronised but those issues are minimal and can be ironed out with extended use and creativity (along with perhaps some software updates). One thing that I noticed is that you can't really use the machine for rowing/cardio work (although, the company says some users use the damper mode to get close).
Trying to choose between Rogue FM-6 vs Ares 2.0. Would love to see a comparison video
Bulletproof VTS and voltra look sick. Great lineup😊
looking forward to Bulletproof's new jammer arms due out soon
id love to see commerical gym equipment reviews honestly haha
Rogue Velocidor: Ask customer service for a second pin, its a game changer for ease of use.
Great video!
I highly recommend the MOBO Board by Jay Dicharry, a PT. It's fixed a lot of my balance and foot strength issues, and you can do squats if you have two of them.
Please just keep looking into rack mounted cable options, like the dialed motion.
I like the Dean Scream at the end.
Yes! Gymleco leg press and prime leg ext leg curl review please!! Dream pieces for my gym
Please review the Dialed Motion Ibex system
Glucks gym did a pretty in depth review
Average Joe Innovation's Powerblock handles are wayyyyyyy etter than JD Equipment.. It just looks better and you can request the level of aggressiveness of the knurl you want.
Yes, for sure. Been using my Average Joe knurled PB handles for the past year, and they made me fall in love with my old Powerblocks all over again.
Thanks
YO COOOP! REQUESTING A REVIEW ON THE TRED SLED BY THE TIB BAR GUY - THANKS
I think it would be helpful for you to chim in on the PRX lever arm controversy. PRX's tone def response video was almost worse than their initial transgression.
How about covering some good brands from Asia? Popular home gym items are Smith machines, power racks and benches
The throwing of the quickdraw adjustable dbs off a rooftop at 9:45 makes me think others are not so durable over the test of time 😅
Have you seen the Quantum Trainer Pro 2? What do you think of those?
Griffin deserved the lever arm award. They've been on the market for far longer than prx.
Would be nice if you explained why are the machines good (saying it’s innovative is not enough). It sounds like a hard sell this way.
For anyone watching, adjusting the resistance profile to the strength curve is not only important for hypertrophy. It’s important for everything.
