I’m doing it now, using my rib cage to start my back swing and I got power and consistency all the time what revelation. You just confirmed what I discovered. Thanks

This is the secret to a good golf swing in my opinion. So under taught. Rib sway all day! Great job!

Again, it seems very sensible and logical advice. Let me report back after my game tomorrow !

Russell another brilliant video been working on the hips and it's all slowly fall into place can now see how important the correct hip movement is it make swing so much easier

I think I got it now.
I realize that I have been struggling to drive my right elbow through impact because I have not been shown to do a Right Side bend first. Then it becomes second nature.
The key I believe is that it begins with a left side bend at the end of my backswing exposing the right ribs to the sky.
    Brilliant!

Thank you for putting it all together Russell. This makes all the sense in the world!

Like your approach. Watched only 2 vids but there's a lot of good info here.

Another gem Russell, for me if I feel a stretch in my rib cage at the top of the backswing there is a pretty chance I am in a good spot. Cheers.

Another great video Russell. I need to book a driver lesson with you. I am crushing my irons but struggle coming over the top/ being too steep with the driver

Whoa, Rib cage is where it's at for me. Obliques send the club into the back-swing and Lats draw me into the Strike.

What about turning your rib cage around a flexed trail knee? That seems to load up the trail hip and leg while remaining centered.

Follow your vids for quite a few weeks. You do a great job in stressing the most crucial aspects of a solid golf swing. Any tip for tempo issues? Cause if i try to slow down by say 70% it is fine with the driver, but produces poor results with the (shorter) irons. what can be the reason?

Great video and drills Russell and can do them indoors which is beneficial due to the Scottish weather ☔️☔️🌧🌧

Hi Russel have you pinpointed the exact area of our body that we can start the downswing with every single time? Would you care to share it freely with us? Cheers

been working on this. the better I strike the ball (hip rotation first) I am tending to pull shots. I was a slicer so is this just down to club face now??

    • @bdyt
      @bdyt 5 лет назад +1

I'm a hooker when things go bad. Usually, lower body stops or lags and the hands flip through impact. Good players tend to hook, path into ball is good and easier to correct then the slice.

Any way that left side bend is part of the backswing and not just a shoulder "turn" into right heel area?

Another piece of the puzzle, I presume this will give you the correct shoulder plane also.

I really wanted to enjoy your channel but just feel there is too much dialogue( very monotone) and not enough actual corrective content for me. People seem to love your
Videos so keep up the good work for them. I’m a 9 hdcp and just need simple fixes at this point....I don’t need to know every wrong move there is to make.
