Space Knowledge - Earth & Future Directions: • Space Knowledge: Earth...
    00:00 The Sun
The Sun is our star. Its energy enables life on the Earth to thrive yet we know so little about the solar weather and the 11 year solar cycle. Modern technology can be adversely affected by giant coronal mass ejections and there appears to be a link between sunspot activity and climatic conditions.
This episode examines the work done by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO); the Solar Dynamics Observatory and the Parker Solar Probe.
    23:57 Beyond the Solar System
There are so many unanswered questions about the stars, the galaxies and the universe and just mapping what lies in the night sky is immensely difficult.
This episode looks at the effort involved in making the first photograph of a black hole and the search for planets orbiting distant stars.

I never really appreciated the sun until about a year and a half ago. My dad passed away on 02/23/21 and as we left the hospital the sun was going down and it was that deep orange glow, like a reddish orange. And seeing that gave me peace as he was passing away not even 2 hours later. After that I became so intrigued with space, the stars, planets, and so on. Now when I see the sun rise I say “good morning to the sun” and when it goes down I say “good night”. To think how big the sun is and how far away is just remarkable and how much energy it produces every second is mind boggling. I wish everyone would respect the planet more and stop throwing trash around because you are too lazy to use a trash can. Protect our home planet and everything on it including plants and all animals!

@@timothyward6644 I’m 45 years old and I will be lucky if I make it to 50 because of my health. I have pneumonia again for the umpteenth time since 2016. At least one pneumonia per year with some very bad and some more minor. This is the only one I’m being treated outpatient so far because he ordered IV antibiotics and steroids at his office. I’m immunocompramised and am hospitalized way too much every year. Spending 3 months in one year over several admissions is awful with 1 being two weeks long and out for a week and back in for another week due to my lungs and a month long admission in mid December after almost dying of severe sepsis and then renal failure right before I was going home in the beginning of January. Finally got out in mid January. I’ll be lucky if I can make it to my parents age. My dad died at 84 and my mom is 78

i told my girlfriend one time that one thing, I will regret when I die is I will never know what we will discover in space 100, 500 or even 1000 years from now. Space Science has always been extremely fascinating to me, just the wonders of how vast the universe is, and if there are other species are out there, or if they're searching for the same answers as we are regarding the Universe.

It's easy enough to see why the areas of the sun get hotter and hotter each step of the way from the center. Not only do you have all of the electro nuclear substance and activity going on, you have every single bit of it agitated along the way, causing super friction activity. Friction alone causes even more heat!

That's very difficult to calculate, so usually the Earth, moon, sun or other local objects are used as point of reference.

if we look deeper to the whole idea of artificial intelligence, humans we will find more job than we can ever have, the assumption that i am making is with technology, we will explore other planets, stars and even galaxy. so the fear of technology should be their infant we should advance even more. let say currently we are a planetary species, if a major rock hit earth, we are done as a civilization. but we machine we can be galactic species and that implies the species will be immortal.
without jumping at list from one star to the next, we will be feed into our black whole, look at any torus, we are spinning round and into the center of our galaxy black whole. secondly if that the rule of nature, that implies our galaxy too is spinning into and around the universal black whole. since this is too complex, we will not see it coming until its too late, at that time we cant upgrade our civilization to galactic that first. i think that might even explain amuamua strange spinning pertern.
still on artificial intelligence we can reduce land usage and feed everyone, for instance their is a rat, squeral, crocodile, snake etc that can eat once in a year or close to that. with AI we can identify all the bacteria that make this to happen and utilize this power. if we feed once a year as people, the need for resources or food will drop. hence no need for jobs in the first place.

There are brains behind every piece of technology you see today. So also there is an Almighty being behind everything you see in nature today. I believe you will agree with me that no matter the advancement in technology today, it is still incomparable with nature infact scientist today are imitating nature and making more research on natural things to improve existing technologies or to make new ones. Do you think it will be reasonable if I should see a wooden house and I say it came about by chance from trees that fell and those trees over time began to adapt to its surroundings an to have roofs and doors and windows and stood erect? 🤷🏾‍♂️ clearly it makes no sense. Someone was behind the design, and all the work involved to make it beautiful. Clearly a supreme being is behind all the designs, beauty complexities we find in nature today. For a sec just think about how we humans were made the and all the complexities of the human body and you say it came about by chance or from non-living chemicals? Could even a simple cell arise from non-living chemicals? If it takes an intelligent entity to build a house, program and create a lifeless robot 🤖 what would it take to create a living cell let alone a human?. Take a moment to think 🤔. All scientific research indicates that life cannot spring from non-living matter. If so, what is the scientific basis for saying that the first cell sprang from non-living chemicals? Take time to think deeply About this. God’s word provides the only reasonable explanation as to how everything came about. Off course the almighty God is the creator of all things and he has told us how things we see today came about.

It is not the Carrington Effect it is the Carrington Event. Also, I believe in God, however, God has no place in science. Take your wonder of God somewhere else. Have wonder for discovery.

Exactly, I have no issue with the concept of a god and no issue with people's beliefs. But they need to leave it out of video's like this, there are plenty of religious channels that they can go to. Scientific discoveries have nothing to do with God

Amen my friend. Exactly, Atheists like to use the current scientific models, natural form of things, latest scientific evidence etc etc to claim there is no reason to believe a God done this- at some point, God will cease Man's knowledge in these things.
