Are you sure you didn't grow up in the depression. Everyone of your ideas are so cost conscious and creative they seem like something my grandmother would have done. Your ideas are so creative that they cut through all the blah blah from video creators saying the same thing. Thank you for sharing all of your ideas. Loved them all.
I watch these kinds of videos all the time, but many of them aren't giving any new or even useful ideas. Your ideas were clever, useful, and NEW. A lot of them I haven't seen before! Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing these ideas. Every time I have an empty container or bag or anything I always wonder what to do with it instead of throwing it away. You have given things to do that I could not think of. I am sharing your video with others. I will make sure my family sees this video and maybe they will no longer think I am a pack rat or hoarder.
1:30 mark - small tissue box for desktop trash is very smart idea! Thank you, it saved me time while working and time on cleanup. 😀 Okay, I'm back to add several more of your ideas to my LIKE list. 😊
So many ideas! I especially liked the suggestion of binder clips on a hanger to keep tops from sliding off and the one about cutting down a plastic water bottle to hold a wet umbrella. Thanks so much.
girl I can't remember the last time I watched a repurposing/crafting video and said "whaaaaat" in surprise so many times. Your ingenuity is great, they are very simple, practical, easy, and use things that almost everyone has on hand. I also love that you don't dilly-dally, you get right to the point. I am subscribing.
I use any scrap paper for shopping list. I cut off the clear part of any bills (no writing on it) for shopping lists. Shred the rest. I Keep old socks and cut up old t-shirts for dusting. Use a big pill bottle lid to put my meds in that I have to take with my breakfast. Lids can be used for bug poison and put in corner of cabinets. Empty cans I use for tools and put under sink. Use empty coffee cans to store items in and label. Stack in cabinet. Also empty Tide pods containers for storage. My husband uses all kinds of empty bottles, cans etc for tools and nuts, bolts and nails etc. I cut off old jeans pant legs, sew up one end and my husband puts tools in them snd puts them in his big tool box on back of truck. Have also made bags with a draw string for stuff like a hair cutter and accessories. Love these type of videos. My Mom used to reuse a lot of stuff. I don’t like the idea of using cardboard for a grocery list. Can’t put it in your pocket.😳
We seventy somethings are post war born from parents that lived through WW2 with rationing and shortages. My grandparents would talk about the depression, which was not as bad in the UK as USA from what I understand but was bad for them because they were poor. So saving resources and money is just part of our lives. Thank you for a great video.
I like the fact that you don't have to go buy anything special. You already buy those things good for the environment. Good way to repurpose! I love the video
@@frugalcreativeliving you’re welcome! Keep doing what you’re doing because this is great for the world we live in right now. Less is best, ( when it comes to financial spending for me anyway 😂)
Oh my goodness, my Auntie used cereal box cardboard for lists, back in the 70s so it's a classic. And darn it, I just bought some dohickies to keep my dish towels from falling to the floor! Hair clips would have been so much cheaper. I've got a cereal box just right for my cutlery draw and I'll be saving my cookie trays now too. Thank you for the video, I really enjoyed these tips.
I use empty cereal box liner bags for shaking chicken in flour for oven fried chicken. They don't break! They are also good to open up flat and use in a tortilla press. I even bought contact lens cases to use for pill bottles in my purse, and to keep by my chair in the TV room.
What a fun to see you organize all those things with empty cans and packing like i do. Here are my ideas for you: 1. painting the cans of chickpeas, peas ecc and using them for pencils, sissors, make up tubes and mascara, kajal ecc. 2. I use the plastic packing of minzed meat in my freezer to organize. I use the chewing gum plastic cans for those things you have put in the egg carton. Greetings from Cologne in Germany
I've had these beautiful old hankerchiefs lying around for years not wanting to get rid of them. i made the tissue holder with one of them and it's so cool! Thank you for your tips!
The cereal box is a great idea but I don’t understand how some cereal box just stink so bad now . But then again , this is such a great tips . I love all of your videos . I always take notes while watching them . Stay blessed darling 🤗🙏🏾
I'm almost 60, I've lived a hard life, and now at my age of experience in life I've became very stingy with my compliments because I choose to save my compliments for only those I feel deserve them most and I do this whether it is a cook , quilter, dog walker, or whatever including someone sharing tips to be more frugal ❤ I enjoyed this video. I've subscribed, and you are lovely. You show more than a lovely smiling face as you also have brilliant ideas. Thank you.
Wow! Pray your channel grows super fast as you have such a way about your presentation and the content is so inspiring and informative. May God bless you and you family. You have blessed me so much ❤ Love from the UK
I travel a lot, and in my toiletries bag I use the contact lens cases for my face wash, moisturizer and yes Vaseline and Vicks… best idea for purse or carry on bags. Thanks so much!
Very good ideas, will be using a few. Best one I use is empty wine bottle boxes from the super market, they fit well in the cupboard under the stairs to store shoes in, stack them against far wall so open end is facing you, they each hold one pair. I stack them on top of two larger storage boxes so I don't have to bend down too much, and just reach over any other things like the vacuum. The coats hang in there too, all ready for going out.
There are so many of these types of videos out there right now, but I have to say yours was above all the rest. Love them. Also love the fast pace. Some people think there are movie stars and spend too much time talking and explaining. You kept it moving along. My time is precious. I don't have time to watch people trying to be youtube sensations. You kept the content coming. Best wishes to you.
l love yr channel. .l love reycling too. l was going to throw out an over stretched winter jumper last year ( to big to now wear ) in a lovely burnt orange colour, then noticed it was 'seamed; and not 'overlocked' so was able to unpick and unravel the wool. So all during the yr, while watching tv, l was able to make an Autumn colour granny sq throw, a water bottle cover, a few Autumn colour coasters for my pot plants and a pr of fingerless gloves, all free , for this Fall/Winter. l now look to see that any jumpers/cardigans l buy from thrift shops are' seamed' so l can unravel when garment has worn out/stretched , to make next year winter items.
Finally some useful tips! 👍🏻 Two things that I already re use: 1- the square Kleenex boxes: to put wrapped plastic bags to use for trash or something, to keep clothes pins or just to collect loose things and later put them in their places. They are also useful to collect broken glass before putting them in the trash (I close it with tape so the glasses don't escape it) 2- contact lenses cases for the same things you do.
Many clever ideas, and I appreciate that they are quick and easy. I don't have hours to craft or the patience or talent to do many of the things I have seen in other content. Well presented, too!
Great video! I also stick cardboard together in strips to get it thick and useful; my big strong fabric bolts are taped up thick strips of delivery boxes! I feel like there are so many of these little reuses, and look forward to your next video. :)
The tips about wet umbrella storage and solo lids as coasters/spoon rests are great! (5:15, 7:22, 7:33) Here's one I use: If you weight the bottom of an empty square tissue box (like the kind you show at 1:28), it makes a great improvised cupholder you can set on the floor of your car. I've also used it to transport a small vase of flowers I received that had a narrow bottom. It actually works pretty well without weights, too, but I like to weight it as a precaution, because if the drink/vase is too top-heavy, it could tip over if you come to a sudden stop. (We have a lot of crazy drivers here, so I have to do more than my fair share of sudden stops... 😮💨)
This is great. The world has become a "throwaway" society.
Reuse, repurpose, recycle, saves money and the environment. ❤
Thank you for the new ideas to add to recycling ❤🎉❤

Welcome to the channel!
Great ideas! My New Year’s resolution for 2025 is to be more vigilant about recycling and reusing, so tips like these are very useful.
Thank you so much for sharing these ideas. Every time I have an empty container or bag or anything I always wonder what to do with it instead of throwing it away. I love the wet umbrella 'bag' idea! ☔
I remember at my grandparents' they always used the dividers from tea bag boxes to use for grocery lists.
Oh my goodness, my Auntie used cereal box cardboard for lists, back in the 70s so it's a classic. And darn it, I just bought some dohickies to keep my dish towels from falling to the floor!
