@@CraigsChannel i found the instructions really easy to follow. I want to get tension on my right analog stick and get a taller right analog. Currently using control freek and a precision ring which is doing the job.
I have customers having problems with the back r2 because the toggle gets stuck I install my own ones in to replace them higher impact my be better there nice but they need to be careful not to press the buttons to hard the buttons will tare down quickly
The actual micro switch is the fault. I think the desing does not have a margin for the amount of pressure some players will put on these digital triggers. I have had a battle beaver controler digi trigger fail after a month ,same thing switch failed. There needs to be more rd done on this and a desing that allows for harder pressures.If you are light on the controler you should be ok. But if your a gripper. these will not last in the current desing. i thought about cutting and putting the original silicone padding in to act as a buffer??? dont know if it would work or permenantly activate the switch??? some type of stop is needed where the switch is just activated. Craig you should start doing some project farm type vids where these products are put through there paces :) theres nothing like that for gamming gear.
I actually did that my one of my old Dualshock 4 controllers, I had some spare rubber and put it just in the sweet spot of L2 and R2, it wasn't quite a digital triggers effect but didn't have to press as far and usual and the button was stiffer. My digital buttons I've been using a few months now, they sent me the tactical version to do a video on, they say they're more clicky like a mouse.

It's not me you bought them from its extremerate, I wouldn't know where to start selling stuff 😂 Which thumbgrips did you buy? Was it the blue ones or the one that are height adjustable? I wasn't sure if the PS4 ones would work on the PS5 I was meaning to try then. As for what to start with first I'd fit the Clicky digital triggers then fit the rise kit, it shouldn't take you to long just take your time. I've a few videos I need to get made for people, still waiting on the LED kit and the front Clicky buttons. You'll like the textured back feels really good
I'm not sure if you seen the video I did on the Hex controller, them were hard and felt to hard for my liking. They've sent me the light version, I just need to make a video. Your other alternative would be the tactile clicky triggers, I've been using them for probably over a year now and love them

Sounds like you might need to open the pad again and make sure everything is lined up, the share button shouldn't feel any different. I mean if it works, maybe just leave it? But if you're unhappy I'd open it and check it's pressed down
Hey Craig! Ive got a quick question. At 8:59 the screwdriver you used does it have a name/type? Or is it the same as the orange one that comes with the package? Just trying to sort out if I'm missing any tools to turn the trigger clicky
It's the same as the one you get with the kit, I'm just so used to using that one. I must have owned it for maybes 10 years, it's helped me fix so many phones and little items 😁 I was going to get an iFix tool kit, they look really cool, but extremerate always provide you with everything you need so shouldn't have an issues 👍

Yeah 100% put the triggers in first, it'll make things so much easier, the triggers aren't as bad as they might look, it's just taking your time and getting the cog right. Also turn off adaptive triggers in your settings when you fit them
I personally don't use vibrate never have for a long time. Did you turn off haptic feedback on your options? Also did you double check the cog was lined up correctly
Yeah personally I would fit these first then the kit. My plan was to do another video with both. I had back buttons and digital triggers on my PS4 controller and couldnt live without them playing CoD 😂

I just got this kit and at 11:35 when you put the little rod in I can’t get the holes to line up on mine. I’ve tried putting the pieces in the other way around to make sure I didn’t do anything wrong but no matter what I can’t get it to line up. Any tips on how I can get it?
First off did you buy the right kit for you model controller? For some reason Sony have released 4 version now! If its the right one, just make sure you're putting the button under so it sits in place, then when you put the rod in press it and give it a wiggle, it is a bit awkward sometimes but usually goes straight in

Hi mate, I just bought the tactile once’s and for some reason my R2 and L2 have different holes to the one u have in the video? The piece that was given to me doesn’t fit and I have an 010 controller. Is there anyway you can help with this? Thanks
I think they've upgraded the plastic bits, do you mean the ones that are awkward to push in and hold the buttons down, like you press it in from the side
I tested it out and everything works except when I tap the triggers. Nothing happens when i use the Lt trigger and when I press the Rt my gun fired but the camera instintly turned to the left and the controller losses connection every time.
I have a controler with these fitted. new controler newly fitted 3hrs in the R1 stopped working, any ideas? im sending it back but thought i would ask here if anyone can advize?
Hey Craig just installed this along with the back buttons on my controller. Everything seems fine besides the right side of my controller has a slight vibrate and ticking sound when the controller is on. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
No you'll not have haptic anymore as you won't have full motion of the trigger, it only presses down a tiny bit, were as to use haptic you need to press it all the way
Craig can I ask if yours is still working? I ordered mine from Amazon 2 days ago and the button stopped working. Returned it this morning due to being defective ☹️
When I was playing cod the L2 button went all the way down which I thought was a bit weird so I had to open it back up again and then thinking that it was fixed my L1 button stopped working like it wasn’t clicking anymore which was a bit upsetting
@Amir Rehman Yeah mines fine, was it not the cog on the trigger you might have not put in right, you've got to line the notices on the cog with the bit that's got no notices on. I know somebody else put it in wrong and when they turned their pad on it made a clicking noise

Nice to hear the back buttons are working for you, few people have said they weren't working but after opening the pad realise they didn't have a ribbon cable fully pressed in and one person snapped their K1 button, no idea how? Maybe they pressed it far to hard?

That is weird, the little piece you add to L1 and R1 are just so you get contact with the buttons, maybe like I say they aren't lined up? Is R2 and L2 working? Also have you disabled the haptic triggers

Hey, does this work for the BDM-020? I have the newer controller and this kit but my trigger looks different so not sure where to put the little plastic parts
I haven't had a chance to try these on a 20, I don't think they do work as when I looked it said 10 on the description. Have you tried to fit them or are you just asking? I had to borrow a 20 from a friend as I've been looking all over to buy a 20, everybody I buy a pad it's a 10
No unfortunately the way the kits designed you'd have to use the little bits that come with the kit as it won't be pressure sensor it's an actually click now

You can still use the haptic feedback if you only install the back buttons. It's not hard to install them, probably looks worse from a video than it is

I've actually got a video on removable thumb sticks which I did for the PS4 and thinking will they fit on the PS5, only one way to fit out!

Or you can go to the controller option menu of Cod and pres square to change the trigger button's with block button's...
I just remap my buttons on the playstation menu, you can do it in game or where ever you choose, I just prefer the menu

It just sounds like you haven't fitted something right or maybe not fully fitted. Have you added the little plastic piece what go into R1 and L1?

It's the cog you've not put it in right. Also turn off haptic feedback on the PS options in the settings

Hey mate! I tried making one for my brother and I noticed the L1 and R1 won't click down. Is that common? Did I miss a step?

Yeah pretty much the same, just be careful when you open the pad again as you'll be working with a tighter space with the back ribbon cable
