Demon's Tier Plus is a unique blend of Roguelike Dungeon Crawler and Fantasy Adventure Game, all while sporting a fairly unique "Twin-Stick Shooter" combat system. Play as one of many fantasy-style heroes (each with their own unique stats) as you battle through level after level of cavernous dungeons, to take on the demonic wicked king who seeks only power!

Wow! Thank you so much for your comments! That's exactly how this channel got started. When I 1st got my switch, I think I spent about a week trying to figure out what my 1st game would be. Then I had no idea what any of these games were about, even after reading their descriptions! So, I started downloading games and reviewing them, one at a time.
And now, 2 years later, we have a pretty cool channel growing with a lot of great people like you supporting us! 😁
This little dev has really done well with their style of game. ALL of their rogue lites are quality and packed with fun moments and good music. I dont play these kinds of games often, but i go to this, their corpse game and the xenon valkyrie one. All are good and have quite a bit of challenge. What they are, is addicting. Many rogue lites/likes miss that aspect even tho they try

This game looks incredible! Cowcat games are generally pretty rough around the edges but they did release Riddled Corpses EX so I know they can churn out some truly great budget titles on occasion. I'm a dungeon crawler junkie though so I'll be keeping an eye out for a sale on this one.

I've put dozens of hours into this on PS4. I would've rather played it on Switch but the $4 PSN pricetag was too good to pass up. This is by far Cowcat's best offering and really an all around solid game.
This game looks very neat for the docked gameplay. Solid intro as a combination of words and visuals. Others make it random, but this cohesive type felt more grasping/ effective in this case.

It seriously is established that JRPG feel, and with the multiple cut scenes to keep the story going, it actually held on to it. Like I said there of you I'm not a huge fan of rogue likes, But this one hit on a whole nother level. I really had fun with it! 😁

already wishlisted it for a sale but you made it sound so good i'm tempted to get it earlier than planned. i also appreciate the play guide section, the things you wish you knew earlier, alot of games have stuff like that that makes a difference to enjoying the game, like if you ignore chip codes in megaman battle network you won't enjoy it nearly as much.
Oh, that so totally true! And now I want to go play Mega man. Haha! But seriously, I wasn't lying when I said that I'm not normally a fan of roguelikes. But, this Dev really came together and pulled out a pretty awesome game. It's rare that I have a review with no critiques, other than the critiques of my own gameplay. Hah hah! 😂😂😅

I knew you would enjoy this game. Was waiting all week for this to drop. Me and the wife/daughter are loving it. Been playing this and Streets of Rogue non stop the last few days. If anything good came out of this quarantine, it’s catching up on my enormous backlog of games (and also books. HIGHLY recommend the Garret PI series by Glen Cook as well as the three books of law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie) and spending some quality gaming time with the fam.
Haha! Totally true, also a good heck of a lot of sales on all these games! I think even the distribution companies are realizing that if people are stuck in their homes, there's a much bigger market for games on sale.

I like how your thumbnails always give a good idea of what you might say about the game before having to click, sometimes I wanna cringe at some sloppy shovelware and sometimes I wanna see if something is all it's cracked up to be and your thumbnails do the job

This looks good! Reminds me of Mana Spark which I really enjoyed, though it looks like the combat is more stats focused than skill focused. I love the look of the different classes & there seems to be enough going on to make it a good investment - More than likely going to get this, thanks as always for the review! :D
Yeah! The different classes have wildly different stats, which makes for some pretty interesting gameplay. The only thing I didn't really like is that at least for the 1st characters you have available a, there is no real tank other than your starting character. It would have been cool to see the gameplay for a tank character with really low attack, considering that the dungeons have a 5 minute timer. But, whatever, it was still really fun! Let me know if you end up getting it.

Well it's certainly not as fast paced as into the guneon, but it is about as light hearted. So if you enjoy that 1, you may enjoy demon's tier.

i think its the same dev as Riddled corpses which was a fun game. Same look and feel. I wanna get this eventually. I liked the bullet hell incorporated into riddled corpses and this looks like bosses have it here too. Good review as always!
Yeah, it is the same development team. And it looks like they learned from a few of their more subtle mistakes in the previous games. This one totally holds your attention and there aren't many flaws if any in the actual gameplay mechanics. Gotta say, I was really impressed! 😁👍

Have you played forager yet? I picked it up for our PSPRO's. I know it's also available on the Switch. I can't believe I missed this when it hit last year and I got a complete physical copy! If you haven't seen it yet, get it! It's likely the best indy building game I have ever played.
No, unfortunately you have to rebuild your individual stats every time you go into the dungeon. But your changes to stats depending on the character you're playing as, and the massively boosted stats depending on which weapons you're playing with do stay perminent, unless you change your character or change or weapon.
I have looked at forager, I haven't played it yet, but I have been on the fence about buying a physical copy for a long time. 😅

I bought Forager on a whim and it's absolutely amazing! I usually buy a few games when I hit my local GameStop. I can never buy just one, particularly as my fiancee is a gamer as well. I love every genre minus tennis, Tetris styled games, golf, and basketball (excluding NBA Jams). So when I buy...I grab anything and everything. I picked up Ghost Recon Point Break- Xbox One X (they fixed it), Forager- PSPRO, and a second copy of Fire Emblem- Switch. I was absolutely loving Ghost Recon and my fiancee started playing Forager. I thought...I play when I get around to it. I could not stop watching her play. I wound up pausing Ghost Recon and watched her play for hours. What's funny....she picked up Ghost Recon and I snagged Forager the following day. I have not been able to put it down since....this has now been two solid days of playing. It's the most addictive indy game I have ever played. It has action, town building, puzzles, RPG elements, a full crafting system, and it winds up being ridiculous.
I have an automated system that zaps everything and collects materials for me. I have an army, when I say army I mean I can't count how many automated bots that fly around on kill crazy rampages for me. I have a banking system that generates thousands of gold per hour...and that's just for openers. Flaming pickaxes, tricked out swords, crazy armor, top hats, chickens, pissed off bulls, skeletons, flowers...Forager is straight out nuts. Just when you think you have seen it all something even crazier unlocks. All of this starts with a small piece of land, a standard pickaxe, trees, and berries. Trust me man, it's so off the wall you have to play it.
Haha! It's been a hot minute since I've been in a game stop, but you better know I'm picking up every deal I see on Amazon, or play Asia!
If you enjoy it that much though, I'm going to go ahead and order myself a copy of forager tonight. 🤩
