Great golfer and so mature and positive for a young guy. Big match temperament getting fine tuned each major he plays…

Great video. I always felt Viktor's swings looked a bit over the top slicey, but well, the shots prove otherwise.

A player who proves that there is no correct answer on the golf swing.

I have many similiarities of the swing with him, i will not let my friend or other online coaches dictates my swing much bcs im ruined my swing lately. Thanks Viktor for proving it.

Driver swing of a kid in his mid 20’s. So envious.

  • @Pulse2AM

That's a lot of movement on the driver swing. My opinion is if it's not all synced up you're going to have some bad days, I like guys that have fewer things that can go wrong.

eveyrone has a different swing that works for them, any golfer can have just as much go wrong with their swing, thats why you keep working and tuning it.

      @@jordan3305yep. It's all about matchups.
Falling in love with the aesthetic of the swing is why many people have no power or not as accurate.
Some people can't generate power with a neutral grip.
      Some need a wide stance...
Some need feet that are straight ...

The arms in front is an illusion, it only happens late because the body spins inside and gets out of the way and doesn't keep moving forward, if the spin inside and open body didn't happen then the hands would still be behind at impact as they clearly stay closer to the right hip and never, ever move to the left (front) hip. He clearly drops his arms/club behind him and spins inside with his body as do all great swings, and then throws out the arms/club late with this centrifugal body rotation inside. In order for the centrifugal body rotation to throw the arms/club straight out the arms have to drop behind on the downswing or they would spin out around the body requiring either 1: a slow jerky move back in or 2: a faster centripetal move around the body and an outside swing and we all know what that does, slice for 1 and snap hook for 2, this is why better players tend to fight a hook as their big miss rather than a slice as they have a continual centripetal swing rather than a slow jerky move back in when they get it wrong. This is so simple yet nearly everyone doesn't know what they are actually doing even if they are doing it really well.

You’re talking through a hole in your **** if it works for VH then it’s right for him regardless of what anyone else is saying or doing , I’m sure Hoveland knows exactly what he’s doing and has the results and bank balance to prove it .

Its reminiscent of a lot of junior golfers who use their body a lot to create speed. However, Hovland does not have to flip at impact because of two things: very strong and entering transition with a bowed wrist. If he didn't have those two things, it would look like EE, which is how young golfers add speed.

Unconventional but effective. That left arm is bent mostly through the down swing. Id slice the heck out of that.

swing my club face up to maintain my balance instead of circular rotation and then put it back in the right plane on my down swing just like Viktor is doing 😅

When I first started playing golf I thought that’s what you were supposed to do. I think it helped me keep my hands higher and the club more upright at the top of my backswing

That swing puts a lot of stress and will hurt the back in some years. He much relies on his putting. Can he ever play a draw?

    • @waynesorensen7071
      @waynesorensen7071 Год назад +1

Don’t recall how he’s done at Augusta but I agree he’s gonna have to learn a consistent draw to win there…hopefully won’t require much change…
