i think he said in an interview he can get his clubhead speed up in the mid 130s when he goes after it. Dude could be averaging upper 190s/low 200s in ball speed if he wasnt just cruising for most of his driver shots
The guy had a hot couple of weeks earlier in this year, but apart from that he's pretty average. Once his exemption runs out he'll be back on Korn Ferry. He's currently ranked 296 on DataGolf 😬. Similar to a Cameron Champ who lost his card this year
Lmfao have you guys ever seen a NFL running back there’s just no way. 😂😂 maybe and I mean maybe a cornerback but never a chance in the world of running back hahahahaha
Too long of a backswing for a modern tour player. Guys with short backswings are dominating the field. Longer backswing inevitably leads to bigger dispersion
Longer swing is more speed. A lot of guys don’t need it but pound for pound lpga is longer and look at Brooke Henderson and a bunch in the field. Jake should never shorten his swing unless he deals with injury. He’s flexible shouldn’t try to restrict his motion.
@nathaniverson6828 speed isn't created with a longer swing , speed doesn't come from the body or legs either just hands and arms i hit farther than jake and I have shorter swing
"Built like an NFL RB." 😂 Safety or Slot is more appropriate
Yeah they always overhype stuff with these guys to make them seem superhuman. He's a great athlete but come on.
Built like an NFL RB from the 40s 😂
Maybe the punter...
Kicker
Yeah they do too much with those comparisons.
The whip he gets from his hand/wrists is beautiful.
looks like he is swinging a senior shaft to get that whip..
A modern version of a classic past parallel motion, absolutely beautiful
Reminds me of Fred Couples, smooth, effortless, and powerful
So cool to see his success these days. CMCC for life 🤙🏻
Interesting how much bend he keeps in the left arm
Its due to his right arm getting narrow early.
That powerful hand action!
this swing feels incredible to try

such a good swing with so much width great player
Downswing reminds me of Cam Champ. Difference is Cam generates more power with a shorter swing. Stock SS just north of 127 @190 ballspeed.
Mark Immelman has never met an NFL running back.
Modern day Fred Couples'esque swing
The "Velvet Hammer"! 🤣🤣🤣
Very much a Johnny Miller like release(into the ball only). That decel is vicious.
Pure
My OCD brain releases dopamine everytime I watch his silky swing!

Cashmere Hammer
Difference between Knapp and DeChambeau? One is swinging the club; the other is letting the club swing him.
He’s swinging like he’s paddling about backwards. Everyone swings the club forwards but he’s actually swinging it backwards relative to his eyes.
Reminiscent of Ryan Fox's swing.
So beautiful. Can you do Fred couples next PLEASE!
This guys mustache looks like it owns a hotel in Reno

5’ 11” 190 lbs, hopefully he got Jamaal Charles/ Chris Johnson speed or he getting crushed
NFL running back?
Too flippy to ever be consistent
Like Fred Couples you mean?
@@ElGolfeux Strokes Gained stats don’t lie, quick search, ranked 143rd? Driver you can get away with it. Irons, not so much.
@ Do you want to have a conversation about it? Or you just commented to disagree and insult Freddy along your way?

Scottie S. back swing is not short..
@ scottie doesn’t even go to shaft parallel to ground with driver. ruclips.net/user/shortsUHAurMJ1v_4?si=yLbrEpiuGhdY3ig5
