Retroarch is not scanning all my roms. I now have playlists with missing games. I have to manually load content in order to play the games that don't show up in the playlist. Can you help?
Also it's duplicating my games, it's annoying.
The thumbnails file for super Nintendo seems to be downloading as corrupted, from the libretto site. When i unrar it says file ended unexpectedly. is there a mirror site?

Great tutorial, but I do have one question, though. When you've said that we need to copy the ppsspp_libretro.so file in the core folder you did not mention anything about the PPSSPP folder from the system folder, that is attached to that "special" PSP core. We really don't need that at all??
The ppsspp core I recommend is an optimized core that has been worked on for better compatibility on the ps classic. I have a video specifically on psp, and where to get the most optimized core.
@@Restalgia ok, that I understood, but, somehow, I thought that the respective core will need the files from the PPSSPP folder (the one from the system folder) as well in order to work properly.

The Super NES thumbnail zip doesn't open, seems to be an invalid file.
Looks like the thumbnails archive zip file for Super Nintendo is corrupt. Do you have an alternate source to get those png files?
I was able to get the entire master thumbnail zip file from github and extracted only snes from it and I am now good.
I have a bunch of Nintendo 64 games that are running within retroarch, I've also brought a usb N64 controller to try to get to work with them, do you have any idea how to get the controller to work seamlessly with them?
My thinking was when buying the controller that the game & controller button configuration would sync up like the original hardware would.

A few more issues I'm having:
the psp core link is missing the configuration file..
my ps1 playlist doesn't have it's own icon, its still a square box..
Also, the thumbnails aren't showing up for some games
Is there a way to get each game to match the covers in the db files? Great tutorial btw!

Also on Bleemsync, artwork on games don’t display but the title info etc does display.

Ok thank you 😃 and yes dream cast does not do well but I have psp , sega Genesis , gameboy advance , NES , super NES and mame , all work flawlessly with no lagging issues .

Are you sure you don't have it? Retroarch was included with 1.0. You should be able too use the video I made before for retroarch since the download links are still active regardless.

It's more or less the same. :) except your scan options are in the left side bar instead of vertically.

I did this for bleemsync 1.1 but why wont playlist show up? I can still play games but after scanning a playlist wont show up.
Do you know how to contact the guy that does the thumbnail website, the sega megadrive images only did to some of images in letter a. It is big enough file there shouldve ben more images i think it might be corrupted not the download
No matter what I try I cannot get thumbnails to show for any of my systems, NES, SNES, Atari or Sega. Do the names of the games have to match exactly the name of the thumbnails?
I have many roms that are named exactly as the thumbnail ping file but the game still does not show up at all after scanning the directory. To be clear I am not saying just the boxart is not showing, it is the game entirely. However, if I load the core and content manually these unlisted games play? Any advice or fix for this?
Can you possibly do a tutorial to show how to set up a dualshock 4 controller in retroarch on the PSC. I'm connecting my one with the 8bitdo receiver, but the left analogue stick is "digital" , right does nothing.

Im having trouble playing games that have only 1 .bin and .cue . When i go to play them i get either a massage that says this game needs 2 discs (it doesnt have 2 discs) and then wont load eg... Resident Evil 2 and 3. Also some games that do have 2 discs wont play, i keep getting a black screen and wont load eg... Syphon Filter 2 and 3
Question, if I were to download Vib Ribbon and put it on this system, is there any way for me to put audio CD ISOs in the system and play that music? (For example, I have a Daft Punk CD album. I can rip it into an ISO or a bin/cue file. Can I use that to play Digital Love on the game?)
Would a Sandisk cruzer blade 128gb 2.0 work with the playstation classic? Right now I have a Sandisk cruzer fit 64gb 2.0 and that works perfect!
Followed all your steps. I'm guessing this does not work for the 1.1 build since none if my games showed up.
Is it common to close out of a retroarch game and go to a black screen? After this happens the only thing I can do to turn it off is unplug the unit.
I have psx bin and cue files that were converted to pbp files. I cannot get a directory to work with them. Have you done this?
Followed this to the letter but no artwork is showing for the games. I'm on the RetroArch build that was included with the latest BleemSync 1.0.1.
Any advice?

One quick question if I may,
The directory scan didn't pick up a couple of the systems I've loaded on there. For example, the Dreamcast doesn't show up at all for me. Is it just a case of renaming it to specify "Sega Dreamcast", or do I have to rename the individual games themselves?

@@Bloufo you shouldn't need to rename anything, or even the folder they are in. Do you have the latest Dreamcast database file loaded to your rdb folder?
Not sure if it's the latest database. It's from the link that you provided for us here. Yes, I have that DC database file already loaded.

Weird thing is, I have Bleemsync 1.0 and everything works..but I don`t have a .config Folder on my USB..Time Stamp 06:40

How can i fix the theme? I dont see this beautifull xmb style menu in retroarch.
Does this work for 1.1? Just set up bleemsync on my new PSC and would love if I could get all my old retro goodness on one easy to carry console. You know, besides having it all already on my laptop. And my fully modded 3DS.. and fully modded Switch.
Would I be able to play Sega Dreamcast with retroarch?
I think I seen a video of someone trying to play it and it was pretty poor. I don't think I'll bother putting dreamcast on mine. N64 is a struggle at that, a few work.

No, and there really isn't a way this console can support it. The hardware is just not good enough :(

@@rcdronesandmore4821 best bets still gonna be PCSX2 on pc. Seems to run pretty well if you have a decent computer and graphics card. Results may very on that.

Will renaming the rom file affect it any way? For example remove the usa part and leave the game title only?
Nope it should be okay to rename it anything you like.

i know this is kinda old and I could find out myself but just wondering if I can run mame on it I have mame on retroarch on my pc

I can't get the .config to rename as .config. So as of now the file is just config and I can't get the emulators to work on the PS Classic through RetroArch. The only difference I can find is that one file name bleemsync/opt/retroarch/config. Does anybody know how to fix this? I tried renaming it on Windows and Mac, but with no success.
use Notepad++ to open/edit the file, then save it with the right name

Ps2 won't work on this system. Right now, ps 1 is the best we can run, with a but of psp.

Found it. You can get this "custom" Theme/Icon Pack from the BleemSync Installer, it's in this folder. bleemsync\opt

etroarch\assets\xmb\custom

The one I have only goes to format exfat and nfts wont do anything else
This does not help...my retroarch does not read the files...it doesn't update cores

@@biseroner4086 yes sir I did...I did this to my PC and classic and nothing...I even get errors unable to download cores...and yes I have web access to the pc...

No worries I have a really old hp comp...thinking that's the reason...great video but I think it's my PC that's giving me issues..

6:45 time stamp. There is a cheats folder, just unzip the cheats .zip files into there

Yeah, your best bet (like the dude in these tutorials said) add disc 1 bin & cue files first and then add disc 2 bin & cue file second, so it's like two separate one disc games but in fact, you know its only one. This tripped me up a bit to be honest, but when I put it into practice with command & conquer it work well. Hope this helps.
forenzic1 well I figured it out. Disc two is disc one and disc four is disc two. I have no idea why BS 1.0 does it this way but now I know. Any disc over two discs I can actually see the text of the discs and change it, just not games that have two discs
All this shit is unstable as fuck.
