We have seen what AutoBleem 0.7 can do for our PlayStation Classic by allowing us to boot Retroarch Emulators through the Evolution User Interface and much more in my previous video here • AutoBleem Version 0.7 ... But a few people had asked for a easy step by step guide on how to update from a previous build. This video shows how to do so. *When replacing themes folder, you can simply overwrite it like the retroarch folder. No need to delete it, but doesn't harm anything unless you had additional themes. Just to make that part more clear.

Quick question. If Im starting from scratch,properly formatted my drive,but downloaded your recommended 128gb pack(Rick and Morty),if I get autobleem Retro,is that all I would need to be able to plug and play? Or would I also have to get the full version of autobleem?

This build has me interested in adding classic games via retroarch. I've never used it before though, so I have a question: Does this come with the needed cores for retroarch? Or would I need to find/add them myself them?

Thank you for another great tutorial! I've been on the raspberry pi emulation for years but after picking up a few psx classics I have been using it for my go to retro emulator. It is a shame that as good as the hardware is Sony did a crap job with the software. I am happy to pick them up for $20 though.

Got everything working great apart from thumbnails just being blank retroarch black squares in the EvoUI. I am missing a step somewhere.... Anyone? I see a few more people have same issue
I have the Christmas build of Autobleem and are looking to upgrade. If i drag and drop the files on a windows machine and hit replace, won't to remove all of the games and save game files that are already on the USB stick? Is that the expected behavior and then you just have to re-drag the games back into games/ROM?
What USB drive do you use? Is it the link that you put in your video?
Can you upgrade from any version?
I use the 5.1 ready made build from one of your previous versions but can I go from 5 to 7? Or do I need to go from 5 to 6 to 7? Thanks for all your videos.
Are those games all included when you update? What website do you use to add more games? Are they roms. Please help.

I just purchased 5 ps classics and im planning to install auto bleem on those systems before I give it to them (2 bros and 1 for 3 of my friends kids) on Christmas. I wonder this works or installs easily on a brand new ps classic
Madlittlepixel So I can basically just copy the installation files from Ultimate Retroboot over to a new dir with my older MagnusRCv2 & Final Burn Alpha directories combined without issues?
So, on older versions of Autobleem, PS1 games added into my game folder ran as expected. However, once I update to the latest version, games are no longer showing up on the UI and I'm unable to launch them. When updating, I followed this video closely and only replaced the recommended files. I'm stumped. I've tried multiple USB drives but keep running into the same pattern. Games run fine on previous versions but no longer show up once I update. Has anyone run into this issue? Any suggestions? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Did you have to do anything to your Retroarch thumbnails to get them to work in the new UI?

Hey man! Greetings from Colombia. Great videos! However, I wanted to ask you a question. I'm suffering for brief freezes in autobleem when browsing the games. When in the selection menu, when I go from one game to the next one, autobleem freezes for like one or two seconds. Sometimes it happens for the whole game list. I've installed OTG support from Bleensync following the instructions in one of your videos. I'm using a 64gb 2.0 FAT32 Maxell thumbstick. I'm also using the same OTG cable as you (I've got the Amazon link from your description) I haven't found info on this issue yet. So I wanted to know your opinion on this. Have you experienced the same issue before? What do you think it could be? I'm using the latest full version of autobleem without retroarch. Thanks in advance man. Keep on with the great work! Hi man, I forgot to mention that also sometimes games take a huge time to load and when they do the also freeze at regular brief intervals of time. They just play like intermittent. Both issues I've just described usually happen when the system has just booted. After some minutes, like 5 or so, the system starts working just fine. Thank so much for the help you can give me, man.

I have a question using autobleem...if by mistake the flash drive has been removed and ths ps classic was ON immediately all ps 1 games will disappeard so my questions is their an EASY FIX for this or i have to reprogram the flash drive again???

I got 1 question MLP, if this is my first time installing Autobleem into my psclassic, can i simply download that 0.7.1 version (that comes with retroarch included i believe) and just drag it to my SONY usb drive and im ready to go?

Did the upgrade, however I only see the stock psx games. The other psx games are detected and can only be run by retroarch. Anyone else had this problem ??

Okay had this same problem here's how I fixed mine, Reinstall in Flash Drive just delete everything but the Roms and Games folder and Add everything from the Autobleem 0.7.1 folder. Good Luck!

Can you do save states with everything that isn't PS1 games? I heard that it's still only PS1 titles with AutoBleem.
Is there really any point in having the SNES Classic now that you can do all this to the PS Classic? What are your thoughts?
Yes you can do save states on older consoles games.
I see no reason to buy any other classic consoles at this time.

Mysteriozone if you already did the otg mod you won’t need to do it again that’s saved internationally in the classic.

Will the ps1 classic have a rework from sony in terms of its low selling point due to its disappointing included games?
I can see all the added games and boxarts in evolutionUI for ps1, but all the other systems are without boxarts. Any clue what im doing wrong?

This is the second time this week my data gets corrupted. It sucks because the only way to fix it is to format the micro SD and copy everything again from scratch. It sucks because any progress you make in any game gets lost. I still haven't figure out how to prevent this from happening.

Followed this and could only access the built in 20 games from autobleem main menu. I knew the games were still on the USB and could see them when I re-scanned from the main screen and could access each individual one by selecting SQUARE to enter Retroarch and then accessing the game manually and then selecting a "core" to run it. I deleted the SYSTEM folder on the usb, put it back in the ps classic and re-scanned and now all of the games/covers are displayed along with the built in 20 from the main autobleem menu. Anyone know what I lost by removing this folder/directory? I can't see anything that is missing yet but I saved the file on my computer and can re-add it if necessary.

No, my first built was 0.7.1, it works flawlessly except when it gets corrupted

Retroarch is a pain in the ass, it doesn't scan all the files especially PC Engine cd games
Select And L2 is A no go and im stuck with the carousel for game selection getting aggravated at this

When I hit L2 and select I just get PlayStation I do not see the other systems.
Does anybody mind if I got some assistance? I updated to this version and when I hit scan games it shows 203 games were scanned and then when I enter the menu to play a game (non retro arch) my games are not there where previous versions showed my games.... I tried re installing to can somebody please answer this question cuz I’m followed every step 100% re watched the video twice and tried again and to no avail so please somebody help me?

FIXED TAKE YOUR USB STICK AND PLUG IT BACK TO YOUR PC ETC AND DELETE THE FILE OR FOLDER CALLED “SYSTEM” THEN YOUR GAMES WILL ALL LOAD ITS ONLY AN ERROR WITH THAT OLDER SYSTEM FOLDER ON EVERYONES USB FROM THE PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF AUTOBLEEM SO ONCE YOU GOT ALL YOUR UPDATED AUTOBLEEM ON YOUR USB STICK AS FOLLOWED BY THE VIDEO HERE JUST DELETE ONE FOLDER CALED “system” or “SYSTEM” AND PLUG IT BACK TO YOUR PLAYSTATION CLASSIC AND BOOOOOM ITS GOOD!!! OHHH ANDDDD FOR GOOD MESURE I DELETED MY MEMORY CARDS AND GAME SAVES BUT IM ALMOST 100% ITS THAT SYSTEM FOLDER DONT WORRY ITLL CREATE A NEW ONE WHEN YOU PLUG IT IN THE PS1 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

I only had the games folder on my USB so if you have retroarch games too only keep your “Roms” & “games” folders
Delete everything else
Then download the AUTOBLEEM 0.7.1 and copy over every folder from this new download EXCEPT “ROMS & GAMES” folders since you only have those two left alone on your usb.
Once everything is loaded in, refresh the USB by right clicking and selecting refresh
Then eject the USB.
Plug it into your PlayStation without the power cable in
Then put the cable in and let the USB flash a bit and the power button on the classic flash orange
Then press the power button
Select settings
Make your UI the evolution one “WWE reference 😏”
Then press X to scan games
Then press START
If the games don’t show PRESS SELECT ON YOUR CONTROLLER TO CHANGE THE GROUPING CUZ for me it was on “Internal” then pressed SELECT it changed to favourites then again it changed to USB then again it was ALL which includes internal too
LET ME KNOW
IF ALL FAILS!
YOUR GAMES WILL SHOW UP ON RETROARCH AND YOU CAB RUN THEM THERE NO ISSUE BUT TRY MY WAY FIRST 😊😊😊
And again make sure in your games folder once you only have that on your USB and nothing else unless you got Roms go into the games folder and delete your game saves and memory cards and make sure before you update your auto bleed to delete everything except your games folders and Roms which means keep your games and ditch everything else and then copy the updated folders over to your USB EXCEPT THE ROMS AND GAMES FOLDER CUZ YOU DONT WANNA LOSE ANY GAMES 😊

Just copy everything and past it. It has to be Fat32
done all this and works great but running games list from retroarch toAutobleem screen scrolling is a bit jerky and idea's

Ok so i put roms into my roms folder for retroarch but when i hit my select L2 it doesnt list the games
For anyone like me who hasnt messed with this. BOOT into retroarch first then go all the way to the right and scan the directory you have your roms in. It'll add it to the platforms and you are setup

Rudy Cerda Mine did the same thing, it scanned the games on my USB but the only games that showed up was the originals that came with it.

Pls God do a guide like this for Smokemonster packs. I still can't figure it and know I'm not the only one.
Gotta have python and run the script. Have all your roms in a folder/directory for whichever system you are creating the pack and it parses them making sure they are the correct roms and places them accordingly in proper folders.

They need to do an update where "select" cycles through whatever your playlists are - rather than select + L2
You make it look too easy!
Everything you said works like a charm, but unless you knew what you are doing it would be a little difficult. Like,, a 95 year old person installing autobleem for the first time wouldn't understand it.
Any game with an "&" in the title such as "Pocky & Rocky" won't show the boxart. Very annoying
