Yeah, it’s not a bad _machine._ With Controllers, HDMI cord, a beautiful and interactive case, and an SBC better than a Raspi 4 (minus ports and WiFi, which are unnecessary, for a retro emulator), along with a good many games, pre-installed, if you spend $3.75 more, to OTG another USB port to the back, with the power cord, the _machine_ is really pretty good. In later versions of AutoBleem and Bleemsync there is compatibility for USB on the go. So you can have a micro USB adapter with USB A pass-through plugged in on the power port for your storage device with your roms. This leaves the ports on the front open for controllers.

Something like mode for NES classic which allows to play both NES and SNES games directly once setup correcty.
Using some branded usb stick nothing works, but when using so cheap usb it works man. Don’t know why, maybe it can’t work when the usb have light. Just guess...
I still have an official Bleam disc for gran turismo and a beta bleam swap.disc for select PSX games. When that software technology was introduced it breathed new life into ps1 titles that visually eroded with time. WCW Vs. The World, Po' ed, Tobal no.1, Galarians, Parasite Eve, Jumping Flash, Perfect Weapon all looked gorgeous on the Dreamcast ! I'll get off my soapbox and regale no further, those were the good ole' days!
Internally the PS Classic has a Quad core Cortex-A35 clocking 1.5 GHz, supported by a Power VR GE8300 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It's comparable to a Raspberry Pi 3 in terms of what it can handle.
Can you use another controller for this? Or do you need to use the one that came with the PS1 mini? Like, can I connect a PS4 or similar controller? Will that work?

The PSOne was an amazing console and has some legendary titles. However in this video I am talking about the PS Classic Mini console, which is not a good console and was an absolute miss by Sony.
@@GameHeadNes, my fault, thank you.
Thank you very much for a brilliant video explaining everything ,so easy to follow.
Can you play PSP games on it ,if you can I will definitely buy one 👍
You can but not every PSP game runs well. Some run very poorly
Hey I bought a 1 terabyte hard drive with every PS 1 North American release on it for my classic. I copped it off of Etsy. It plugs right into the back of the Classic OTG. I know all the shit is free but I don’t have a PC to download all the roms. Ended up being like 1700 roms I believe.
Brevity is the soul of wit... good video!
"run just fine"
15 fps
LOL
the problem with mod the psclassic, is you cant play multiplayer or metal gear (because of psycho mantis changing port controler)
In later versions of AutoBleem and Bleemsync there is compatibility for USB on the go. So you can have a micro USB adapter with USB A pass-through plugged in on the power port for your storage device with your roms. This leaves the ports on the front open for controllers.
@SirBrasstion On Amazon search up "Fun-Home Right Angle USB 2.0 Micro Male to USB Female Host OTG Adapter for Samsung i9100 i9300 with Power Features", that's the adapter that you can use but you need to do the mod first.
You can also just wait and campbell will call and take care of it for you
thanks man !! I tried hacking mine today and it worked!! =)
Trif Soul where the games at though?
please if you have a link to download the dreamcast bios and games please share, thanks
JUST... BEAUTIFUL..! I LIKE!!!
In your opinion, is pairing this system with the SNESC modded the best way to play the full range of retro games? 'Cause it sure seems reasonable to me. In don't think I need to fuss with a Genesis Classic at this point. What do you think boss?
Awesome video.Trying this today Found PSC for $40.
Jason Harris i just scooped it for 20
me for 10 :D that dude really didn't want it anymore
Haven't found any that low.
@@AnimalGuide223 Well 40$ is retail. I looked over craiglist (respectively the german version of craigslist)
@@attk177 haha it must be a really bad console when stock
I would just want the original PlayStation with the parallel port game shark pro.
Me too
Nice video I know what my next purchase will be 😁

Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story, Tomba, FF IX
Nice list
NAMVVHO I didn't bother with Crash in the end as I have the remastered trilogy on PS4
Sooper Marino Borther
missing xenogears bigtime
I get irritated when people say the PS1 classic is trash. The default is software is crap but it's still a nice emulation station that is still visually appealing. The usb ports make it universal hardly making this system crap

"High end" 3D games
LOL
Hey, hey those are some cutting edge games for 1995! ;)
@@Sinn0100
i took it out of it's retrospect context, i used to play these as a kid :)
@@Tensai0
I knew you were joking man. This was my teenage years and I loved my PlayStation. That's why I added the cutting edge graphics for 1995! My fiancee and I are huge gamers/collectors. I swore when I finished the projects I was working on I was going to fix this little classic console. I bought it the first week it came out knowing this was what I was going to do to it. Especially after Sony just...I still can't believe how poor it was. I just added Road Rash, X-Com, Einhander, Ogre Tactics, FF Anthology, Xenogears, and I'm just getting started!
Addendum- I wish it played Saturn games properly. If it did, I don't think I'd ever leave our bedroom. ;)
@@Sinn0100
OMG that's fire man!
I will soon convert an old laptop into an emulator to get a throw back to those old golden days 🙏🙏
Do yourselves a favour and get a cheap media pc maybe a Lenovo M93p with an i5 for like 70$. Then you can play gamecube, wii and ps2 games as well.
*i find that ironic that something that was so disastrously bad can be so damn good when you mod it*
Same with Wii U i guess?
Lol. I actually modded my Wii U and yes it's pretty awesome.
My thoughts exactly lmao, its so good when it is moded.
GameHead Nes Is the frame rate and graphics even better than this?
If you made a video on doing this to the Wi U I would watch and share it 🏆
sorry noob question here. So we need to keep the flash drive connected to play these games right so we can only play single player games correct since there's no way we can connect the 2nd controller or we can do something about it?
not sure if been asked but is this for only classic or can it be done on a slim as well ?
Most awesome video dude!!! AutoBleem is truly the answer to this pile of steamy horse/cow dung!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent video. You break it down perfectly!
Thank you!
Awesome dude..!!!!
Super helpful thanks man.
Your very welcome, glad I could help.
Back then the only other use for it besides gaming PS1 games is for listening to audio CDs with the visualizer.
So, with the usb stick in there, it's not really possible to play 2player games anymore on the classic?
You need a USB hub.
Ive been watching this an thinking of doing it how many games can you get for jus ps1,n64 games
Hey man I bought a modded ps classic w autobleem for ps1 games and retroarch for the other consoles. Do you know how to configure a usb n64 controller? Can’t play n64 titles without analog
is there anyway to make it more automatic loading of games without going through Retroarch standard menu. I want to make it for small kids so that they can just play SNES and NES games directly without all complicated menu of RetrocArc. Something like mode for NES classic which allows to play both NES and SNES games directly once setup correcty.
Get a modded SNES classic, theyre great.
Does the SNES Classic emulate Playstation games better than the Playstation classic with the latest "Autobleem" I'm guessing that it does not.
Modding this vs original Xbox. I wonder which to do.
This is waaay easier than modding og XBOX. I've tried so hard and got so far.
This is much easier on ps classic but a original xbox modded is a strong emulation system that is hard to beat
Using some branded usb stick nothing works, but when using so cheap usb it works man. Don’t know why, maybe it can’t work when the usb have light. Just guess...
hi which Dreamcast games would you recommend please
Is this the same process for adding PlayStation games only? You should make a video of just adding ps one games.
hi which Ps1 games would you recommend please
MVC 2 got my attention
thank u it worked !!!!
I think its kinda poetic that you can now play dream cast games on a "PlayStation" with bleem
No one else got it, but I did ! thus clearly giving my age away!
Boussiah haha yeah we are old ....
Fantastic tutorial, everything works!
Glad I could help
If that thing struggles to play its own PS1 games, how can it play anything more advanced?
Internally the PS Classic has a Quad core Cortex-A35 clocking 1.5 GHz, supported by a Power VR GE8300 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It's comparable to a Raspberry Pi 3 in terms of what it can handle.
Can you use another controller for this? Or do you need to use the one that came with the PS1 mini? Like, can I connect a PS4 or similar controller? Will that work?
For emulator you can use ps3 or ps4 controller
Question does doing this erase the original games and crappy system menus? Or if i take out the drive will go back to normal or is modded forever?
It will go back to normal
Nice I'll try this
Thanks!!!
Hey this is one of my all-time favorites man do you think it would run Prince of Persia Arabian nights on a Dreamcast please say yes lol I hope
I had no idea that game came out for the Dreamcast. Ill have to check it out.
@@GameHeadNes yeah I tried it runs perfectly on a PlayStation classic
why would u go through any of this instead of having a pc and spending zero , its like eating food with a 20 meter stick instead of a fork
This is a cheaper alternative to a pc. PlayStation classics are like 30 bucks nowadays and USBs aren't expensive either. However, a raspberry pi would probably be a better alternative.
Jordanw3lsh2001 PS1 classic is $20 at GameStop now as I speak 🤩
@@phantxmtv1322 Thats's some failure price it got there. Cheaper than a PC is an easy argument tho, you obviously need a PC to download your hack and .iso so its not a best argument. But 20$ is impressive cheap i must say
@@azhash3 I think the point to play it sitting on the couch on the TV suits better. Normally a pc don't stand in the living room near the TV. If someone wants this you can save 20$ :-) I build an arcade and it would be way cheaper to use an stick with buttons on the pc... But I don't want to
The real question is why are you watching this and making such a comment? Hmmm.
Is there a possibility of having n64 Dreamcast n ps1 games on the PlayStation classic n if so how many games I'm I able to put on it n will they all run good?
What controller are you using? I'm assuming something with an analog stick.
Wired Xbox360 gamepad
@@GameHeadNes sweet, thanks.👍
Have you used a USB hub yet or done the OTG?
Yup. I actually prefer the OTG method
You should do a quick video on the OTG mod. I know there’s lots but so many are so long winded.
Maybe got a very stupid question.. I´m using the newest version auf Autobleem and it works so far, but if I want to turn off the console by pressing "L2" and "R2" like it´s said at the screen, the screen turns black like it is turned off, but the power light still remains green.. Pressing the Power button doesn´t work either.. Any ideas how to handle it correctly? :)
couldn't get it to work. formatted the usb like you said, used a scandisc 32g cruiser drive, downloaded and unzipped as shown. is there an issue with this working in Australian releases of the console?
Nice
To all of you I recommend getting an used FAT PS3 somewhere online for low price and jailbroke it. Then you can play any ps1, ps2, ps3, nes, gameboy, ds games on it for free and it has bunch of space and if not, you can get an external hard drive. It's sooo much better than this, this didn't work at all for me eventho I got the same usbs and did everything like in the video
The last i hared the Bleem name was wind I found my old Bleem Blockbuster Video Edition CD-ROM in 2019.
Does this make the PS1 games that are already running on their run like they should?
Can the PSC run Atari Lynx? , had it working on my Snes Mini but having no luck with the PSC and Lynx, and if it can , how? :)
A tutorial on adding arcade games would also be great.
I followed this tutorial, and autobleem did not pop up instead going straight to the regular ps1 startup screen. Could it be my usb flash drive
Same
Have you tried Shenmue?
I was kinda worried since u need a joystick to play most n64 and dreamcast games
You can get a gray 8bitdo Bluetooth adapter and use Xbox one and PS4 controllers.
@@DaVidKid1877 thx for letting me know
Dont worry N64 runs terribly on here. That's why people never show much gameplay on these there is so much slowdown or lag. Need a PC or Odroid xu4 for proper N64 emulation.
but I love my PS Classic, it just can't be garbo (it's hacked obviously)
It’s good. Forget the haters it’s made by Sony after all :)
Any ps1 game can be loaded on this? I want to play bust a move two players
Mostly any PS1 game. Bust a Move works and 2 player can be accomplished using a USB hub
So killer, I want to add in some Sega CD roms too
