You just need a "y" micro USB cable. One end has male micro usb to go into the mini, one end has female micro that is for your power supply and a 3rd end will be USB A for your USB stick. pretty easy cable to find.
Your suggestion to eject the thumb drive from the computer is best practice, although ones who do not know to do this might just presume that you are simply saying so pull it out of the USB port rather than to right click on the drive letter and then select the eject option from the secondary drop down menu in order to safely remove the device.
I'm unable to flash the kernel on Autobleem 1.0.2. It took me a whole night to complete the backup. When I checked my MicroSD card, I saw the LBOOT file which had 0 Mb of file storage. Then when I wanted to flash the kernel I received "Invalid backup or invalid kernel image". Any clue what to do? I'm using 128GB MicroSD. Games are working fine.
It might be the hardware that you're trying to use. The micro SD card. Well it has incredible storage, it might not be responsive enough. I can try to replicate what it is you're trying to do and see if I can come up with an answer. Right now, I would suggest you try a USB thumbdrive just to test the process.
Everything worked great up until flashing the OTG kernal - Invalid backup or invalid kernel image. I am using a recommended drive that I have modded these in the past but have never tried OTG and now that I have, it won't work. Any suggestions?
\thanks so much Jack i tried another 1.0.2 link and it didnt work so i just went with the 1.0.0 worked! but only half my games are showing on the ps1? EDIT, got it, copying the rest to usb flash drive now, and hitting eject!

I have a couple of questions though: 1.- Does this work no problem on the Japanese Version of the PS Classic? 2.- What happens if you turn off the PS Classic, unplug it from the power cord and remove the USB drive? Does it go to its original state with the original 20 games as if nothing happened? Meaning this is reversible? Thanks a lot for the help!
@@raulnunez7580 I'm not sure about the first one, unfortunately, sorry. Your second question, yes, it is completely reversible. The flash drive is essentially the new OS as long as it's plugged in.
This rar file with autobleem is taking forever to extract. Crazy. My computer isn't even that bad. But like an hour or so. All those tiny files I guess.

@@TakaraTony that's a new one to me. I guess trial and error. I can try to look into it and see if I can come up with an answer
The one thing i can think of right away is the instructions for adding the OTG is very specific. Beyond that, I will have to look into it further.

@TheMediaJack My USB was able to do it from the 2nd controller port and I used a starlink usb splitter to use both controllers out of the 1st port.

If you run a multidisc game, you have to press the reset button on the ps classic, that is the way you can change the "disc".
