Your channel is going to blow. Excellent content. Your voice is great. You do your home work. Your questions are relevant. The editing is on point. Thank you and congrats for a really good job.
This means a lot - thank you!
Agree
Great stuff, thank you!
Came for Hillier Smith wisdom, ended up also getting a masterclass on how to interview people. Subscribed.
So underated
Thanks for watching!
This is SO good... I've studied a lot of film-making theory and practices, but this cuts right through the translation to youtube in such a clear and jargon-free way. Your questioning style is just right too: keeping the subject on-point and focused on your viewers' interests, but without guiding the witness; and love the tone of calm curiosity. One request: I loved the one where your scriptwriting guest live-edited some copy segments into compelling speech for youtube... could you do more of that sort of content, eg in this case do some realtime deconstruction of good editing, or analysis of how editing could be improved. Short snippets would be enough, just to 'see' each guest's mastery in action - I feel that we'd learn as much as hearing them try to explain what they do, if you get my drift.
Hi Jay, what a fantastic job you did!
I clicked the video while doing chores and honestly thought I was listening to the Colin & Samir show (which I constantly listen to).
From start to finish, brilliant interview.
And thank you for diving deeper in the “education” type of channels, something which is exactly what I’m looking for.
Pure gold! Subscribed and liked (1000th like, made me feel extra happy 😅)
I’ve watched three of your videos now, and I got to say, thank you!
As a very small travel blog channel, this is a hard industry to get a handle on. These interviews really help.
Great interview, really interesting questions and you could tell Hayden had fun replying to them as well because they were original. Thanks, Jay!
Stumbled across your channel just now. Dope intro! Felt like a TV show interview.
Jay, I really like your style. So good! You are a great interviewer as well. You ask a question and you listen. Some interviewers forget this rule. But you don't. You listen. Keep it up! Enjoying!
These were the BEST questions! Some I wanted to ask, some I didn't even know I wanted asked. This was awesome! Thanks so much!
Last video I watched recently had 6500+ subscribers, this shows you as 7100! WELL DONE! Well deserved! Great job!
You’ve got some amazingly helpful content here Jay, and I really appreciate you sharing what you do! I made some shorts that went viral, and now I have a channel with lots of subscribers but very little engagement. So I visit your work frequently as I feel like I’m just starting from scratch. 🤷♂️ Thanks for helping me keep my head up, and want to stay the course. 🙃
Jay! Just found your channel, massive value! Thanks for the insight and inspiration!
holy shit I wasn't expecting this much quality when I clicked, great interview! ❤
Liked and subscribed. Glad you came along. Very soothing and honest commentary 😊
Jay, I'm surprised you have so few subscribers. Love the content. Love the value. You should try to get Colin and Samir on.
I love these detailed videos gentlemen; putting onto the table openly the reality of negativity, fear, greed, etc. In the beginning, we think "If I just provide quality, educational content, FOR FREE... people will love it and my audience will explode!" So you do that, putting in hundreds of hours and... no one cares; no one watches. The realization that you have to entertain people or they won't watch - and almost trick them into being educated as a biproduct - is another chapter in the humbling book I've self-titled... "The World Doesn't Work How I Think It Should, It Works How It Works..."
Awesome seeing your stuff on RUclips AFTER discovering you on LinkedIn haha. Really cool conversation!
Great insight, thanks for this. Very smart questions, and obviously answers as well. Great job! You gained a new sub here
Just Listed to the whole Episode in the shower 😂 Great perspectives and great questions!!! You got my sub this was fascinating
Learned so much from this video! Great interview Jay. Subbed and looking forward to more episodes 🙌🏾
More to come! Thanks for watching!
I loved that i discovered this channel recently, it is a gem for RUclips creators!
I’m watching this until the end!
So much perspective and inspiration. I love it thank you.
Awesome Awesome Awesome conversation. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and experience. I learned so much here with you and Hayden. Your channel has become one of my favorite because of all the brilliant humans you’ve wrangled and because your skill in interviewing and conversation is second to none. I’ve learned more here in just watching only a few of your presentations than a year of RUclips watching. Thank you so much for all you do. I forgot to mention your videos look and sound as pro as can be. Bravo. F
Amazing interview and content! And perfect voice for interview! Thank you for sharing. 😊
44:12 this is a very interesting point because this was the same idea with vlogs in 2017-2018. Great to see RUclips evolve in this way. Great podcast!
This channel is an absolute gem, thanks y'all 🙏🏾🔥
+2 incredibly underrated.
The production quality reaches a new level every 2 weeks (great job excuting on those first 1-2 mins...high energy🔥🔥)
Questions were thoughtfully planned and targeted.
Hayden is so in tune with storytelling, psychology, and trends.
Tons of takeaways. Ty!
Thank you my friend 🙏
Wow , I actually encounter the " I don't know what to do next " thing. It's a strange place to be. Getting out of that sometimes forces you to essentially...start over...and often that kind of video when finished gives me a warm feeling. No matter how the video ranked.
Love this!! Thank you for this channel :D
I love Hayden! He is so lovable and down to earth but oh boy...the experience this young man has is insane! A great interview.
I listen to lots of videos daily while I work and commute. I usually only sub to micro channels but you are a gem. This was well worth my time.
Wow, thank you!!
Jay, I think every one of your videos is GOLD and I am so happy I found you.
I'm glad you found me too!
I really enjoyed this episode 🙌🏻
I’m currently trying to build my channel and learning everything I can! This definitely helps me along that journey. I really need to work on my intros 😂
Jay, you've got such a unique, calm interview style and what a cool lineup of guests. Enjoying following along.
Hayden, super inspiring that you are also looking inward for enjoyment cues and health in the creator process.
Thank you so much!
Love that ponder of the "character defining moment" - so valuable to think about!
"Make the mistakes."
"Invest in the people you already have." - fabulous takeaway! Thank you!
Loving your content
Excellence video, a lot of very valuable insight. Thank you for sharing.
loved this! thanks for all the hard work put into it ❤
Glad you liked it!!
So useful. Thank you Jay and Hayden! 🙌
Great video, awesome interview. Lean less into "lean into"
I love your podcast. Thank you. Seriously... Thank you and thank you 🙏🏼!!!!
Thanks for all the info, great content you're going to blow up pretty soon.
Could you possibly make a video about shorts on RUclips? I have been growing a lot because of shorts but it's almost like a totally different game in terms of strategy that you don't get to choose a thumbnail, and for example many people put in personalized subtitles versus people don't be using them at all. Those would be interesting things to talk about.
Agree. I also would love to hear more about those. Though there already was one very young guest (17 or 18) on this channel who has heavily studied best practices of that. Excellent video. They were planning next to study long-form RUclips videos in-depth too.
Great Episode!
Wouldn't you say that the podcast format has been the "third format" that has taken over RUclips?
Damn good session. Thank you, Hayden.
Thank you for your content
This video came on my recommendations, Hayden's face got me to click on this video. When I saw 2k subs I was like this must be a spoof channel but this is soo Fking underrated! Subbed
This story had me on the edge of my seat 😂 loved the ending. We're new! Only up from here.
Haha had the same experience. Subbed instantly while watching!
Wow this is amazing 😮😮😮😮 so much value I’m trying to grow my channel and this is sooooo helpful ❤❤🎉 you da best!
Your videos are killing it!
I think you could add your person into your channel by creating a cliff notes with reflection about the highlights of the interview and what it means to you/us and examples how implementation could be done. Some times doing critical thinking is helpful and inspirering
100% agree, Haydon knows what's up
Incredible content. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Great video. Thanks from sunny Turkey
6:57 never has anything said on youtube resonated so much with me...
Thanks for the video! I am a new starter
so good, thanks
great discussion; I think the same path happened to BLOGs. The blog used to be something that could generally waste a lot of time for personal venting, but occasionally you would get some interesting writers and content. Now it's sort of pure commercialism with copy "articles" ads and education. Nothing against it, but with the pandemic I found myself more interested in writing styles.
With AI getting better and better, I think we'll all get even more interested in writing styles!
Great questions asked here!
You'll reach 100k subs sooner than you think! Keep creating!
I appreciate the vote of confidence!
This channel is a powerful magnet for the curious minds and avid learners.
You are a truly amazing interviewer.
Thank you!
Love this chat.
Hayden a legend. Thanks for posting all the chapters so I could skip around 🫶
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the kind words!
I need to add these ideas to my videos.
You ask great questions!
Thanks so much!
absouletly AMAZING questions asked. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
I love this!
Tons of great content here, Jay.
Thanks so much Jerry!
Jay, this quality is insane
I appreciate that!
The first minute of this is so well edited wow
thank you! we put a lot of work into it.
Editing is like a skill that's suppose to go unnoticed. So many people on RUclips complimenting the editing. That's like shop talk to a regular viewer. Yes it was edited quite well and took an enormous amount of time. Personally if someone watched a piece of my content and all they said was " great editing" . I would be deeply insulted. What about my story , didn't you like the video?
Is podcast limited to celebrity. For example I have done a podcast for years. I don't know any celebrities. The question I suppose I'm asking ..are ordinary people who might be doing something that's actually pretty special going to be marketable in this RUclips podcast environment. I say this in response to the guest who is an editor and has a podcast, saying he can only have marketable people as his guest?
@@showtale8325 I search for podcasts by topics. I don’t care about big names. I think it’s all how you market and describe your guests and topics.
“Explore your creativity and discover your own inner artist with K____ W____ , local artist who uses leftover fabrics and industrial scrap to make her sculptures. “
“Meet the Bee Goddess, the woman who has designed a line of clothing inspired by honey”.
Every artist , author and musician and artisan is looking to be interviewed.
"I Look to myself emotionally and internally rather than allowing external
data to tell me where I went wrong or went right"
loving the content!
Thank you!!
Great video / discussion!
Thanks Jacob!
This is amazing
This is literal gold.
glad you enjoyed it!
Love him
This channel is going to become way bigger
Thank you almighty algorithm for suggesting this video. Do it more.
Thanks for watching!
That blue screen with the list of contents has some kind of painful strobing effect on it when I watch on my tv. Really hurts my eyes. Letting you know in case you didn’t know. Otherwise awesome content, keep it coming!
Keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
best of the best
I don't even look at analytics on my TikTok if the vdo doesn't have much views i try to make a better one thats the only analytics that work.
This is great.
thank you James!
For the algo
Pranks with a girl in the thumbnail and outrageous title were definitely a cycle
How does this only have 2k views...
I would love to know
@@CreatorScienceYTt really does confuse me. Like I notice channels that use tons of cuts do well. But some channels use little or low cuts, like Ali abdal. Like 8-12 a second. Then Andrew huberman, basically has 0 cuts. Unless he does J-Cuts we never notice.
So when it comes to more informational videos with slower pace visual wise, I also have no idea what's the make/break factor.
My question would be, why would Hayden agree on an interview on a channel with 6k subs..
Good advice...but...why is your channel your name when you mention, "Creative Elements"? Wouldn't that be a better name? Asking for a friend ;)
I don’t watch any of those obnoxious ass channels that focus on retention. Casey is good with the creative camera angles , I sometimes watch mr beast his older stuff
Kevin James lost some weight. He's looking good!
Why does no one talk about documentaries? lol they literally are taking over RUclips and get millions of views. Creators such as Jake tran, moon and magnates media are 1000x better then boring vlog videos
Agreed. I loathe spectacle.
If you're looking to make payroll this month, talk crap about someone in your title and thumbnail, got it 😂
This channel is a sleeper
Thanks Nick!
I thought he died
