Definitely, he probably buys him out or takes over eventually (like if Mandy’s dad gets injured or wants to retire or passes away) and that starts his business. Or he is inspired by Mandy’s dad and creates his own. I assume that is why the writers chose to have her dad be in the same kind of business as what Georgie does in the future. It’s a cool detail.
I'm sure Mandy's Dad will be an additional impetus/help but we also must remember that Georgie already had experience of working with tires several seasons ago and he was already a natural back then.
@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 well actually when he meets and gets Mandy pregnant, he is 17 and she is 29. He had the 'video store' with his grandmother. I think it is a valid question. Being at 17 he wouldn't know the it's and outs of a tyre business (UK Tyre spelling there as I am Australian and know Americans spell it with an i). I am sure it was a purposeful thing written in by the writers of the show. Obviously he had the drive & determination to make it as successful as it was.
I'm guessing Georgie inherits Jim's tire business.

@@youmustcreateachanne Sure but you could say it matters if their wives find them attractive. I mean, it's a show, but Audrey clearly didn't like seeing Jim awkwardly shuffle away and ridiculed him for hiding behind tires. There's no attraction nor respect for a scared husband, it's a stupid trope.
They want to show everyone that a good husband is always scared of their wife. The other way around he is a bad husband.

Why do people assume if you get married young and decide to get divorced that the marriage didn't work because you got married young but if you get married when you're older no one assumes it's because you got married too old? I got married young and it was one of the best things I ever did. People used to get married young all the time and divorced wasn't that common. People just hate commitment and responsibility now a days and put down anything that has it.
because the younger you are, the more likely you are to get divorced. really young adults are still growing as people and changing. alot of it is rash decisions. when youre a bit older, youre more likely to make sound decisions. your high school relationship isnt the same as one in your 30s. its not cuz people hate commitment. its cuz statistically its not a good idea to get married when you are still figuring out your life. youre just projecting.
I would say for the same reason it's not a good idea to get a tattoo as 15. I'm sure there are people out there that still love their tattoos, but there's a lot more people that think god who let me do this at 15
@@MsDudette21 In this generation that's actually not true, it is because of the commitment. If we're talking the 70s or 80s then it was fairly common for people to get married pretty young. Most of my family members who were in their prime at that era married at 17/18 years old because people matured way faster and so they were capable of handling that sort of relationship. As of 2023, even if you marry below 25 years old I've still heard a lot of people say that that's too young. It mostly has to do with the era because people in this generation take a lot longer to mentally mature and hence are not ready for the commitment.
