Love this watch, saw it in person 2 weeks ago and I have to say it's one of those watches that are not very photogenic but in the metal is extremely stunning, the brushed finishing on the case contrasts so well with the fluted bezel and the pie-pan dial is beautiful.
I love omega but i wouldn’t buy this. Datejust is a much nicer design especially the new ones. This watch is kinda ugly but that’s my personal opinion as there is clearly a market for it
Great review to a great watch. I love those pie pan dials, since i saw them on a 60"s gold seamaster when i was a child in midle 70"s. Thanks for the review Tim!
So beautiful Been absorbing as much as possible about watches for months now, honestly so much so I'm getting sick of watches sadly. But this particular watch always restores my love for them every time I see it. Simply beautiful!
An excellent timepiece, and definitely one that deserves more love. If this used Omega’s lyre lug case profile I’d love this piece, but alas my heart resides with the Aqua Terra. I do slightly prefer this dial and handset though.
I gave up looking for a Rolex Datejust once prices hit the stratosphere. Now I fear this beauty from Omega may also escape my clutches once it loses its ‘underrated’ status and demand sends prices skywards. I’ll happily trade my Tag Heuer ‘special edition’ (worthless edition) just to pay the deposit for a place in the queue for the Globemaster
Beautiful watch, but 13mm thick wouldn't fit under the cuff in any of my shirts. It's more like a sports watch thickness, even a diver, not a dress watch. Still, love the looks of it.
As the big watch fad is fading, the bulky and thick co-axial movements of Omega are really causing a backfire.... The design is nice, but the thicknes... kills it IMO.
Lol it's not... It's a nod to their historical series, the constellation c shape, or people said it's the 3rd generation of the constellation series by them at mid 60es, and that watch was designed by Gerald Genta. Married with the 12 sided pie pan dials that came from the second generation of the constellation series circa 50es and globemaster naming from the copyright law in US that constellation name can't be used there. All in all it's pretty in the metal, but not as photogenic as the original source like the ones I have (ref 14900 and ref 168.017)
It's a masterpiece. It has such understated and timeless Beauty
Nobody speaks about watches like Tim does. I could watch these videos all day.
He surprises me with words nobody uses like "Gossamer"🤣
I have been listening all day and often do. I’m addicted to watches

Kicks the hell out of the Datejust.
I doubt that.

@@ripperx444 Acually it's quite the opposite.
Hi Tim, thanks for the video.
Just picked up my blue dial, on bracelet, version today (Ref: 130.30.39.21.03.001)! 😍👍🏽⌚

It became high-quality from around 2014.
When continuing this level, evaluation also rises.
Tried one of these at the AD. Was not considering - at all - until putting it on my wrist. Now I want one & just a matter of time, will have one.
PS - this thing is all OVER my Instagram feed - totally smitten since the day it arrived.
Eric Nielsen Hey Eric, I’m looking to get one as well. Mind sharing your Instagram?

Love this timepiece
Omega is a great company with lots of history behind it
Excellent command of the English language.
This in 37mm, 11.5mm thickness, solid case back, screw down crown and a micro adjust bracelet would be an incredible watch
Saw this watch in Vegas with a green band. Wow wow wow

One of only a few contemporary designs that we will stand the test of time.

Hi Tim:
As usual, thorough and rich in detail. Isn't Metrology and not Meteorology?
--Michael
Correct, metrology.
I really love this watch

I like it. nice, understated design but it doesn't "wow" me. Still seems a little big to me too
I’d buy those over a Rolex anyday
Be careful with Meteorology vs Metrology. The former is the study of weather, the latter is the study of measurement.
As the big watch fad is fading, the bulky and thick co-axial movements of Omega are really causing a backfire.... The design is nice, but the thicknes... kills it IMO.
Omega 🇨🇭🌍🇮🇶💪🙂👍روووووووووووعة
Are the hands silver or black?
@Coming Soon they are silver in some lights
Only 1mm thicker than Submariner LOL!! THE SUB IS A 300M Dive watch
16 cm = 6.3 in
Globemaster doesn't speak to me, feels like it's trying to be an answear to Datejust
Aria Kowsarian good comment because if own one over a Rolex date just any day being a big omega fan and non Rolex fan.
Anything wrong with that. If all watches were super individual in the high end then we would empty our accounts. Snod
Lol it's not...
