My college first year friends group got divided because some of us wanted to party and some did not. Thankfully in that group, i maintained a very very good friendship with another girl who loved party culture, even though I wasnt comfortable with it. She was alright because she had self control and knew how to be classy when partying, better than some of my "non party" friends tbh and she never got wasted lmao Now both me and her are health and personality wise way better off than the rest of our previous friends. Point being, people who party are not all shameless and spoiled brats, and non-party people are not all good, well-meaning people.
