  • If y'all have ever wondered if creating a solar shower was feasible, it totally is! All you need is some basic parts and tools and you'll be on your way.
I'll leave a list of the materials you'll need to build your own solar shower below.
This tank holds 3.5 Gallons of water and will last about 2 minutes on full spray with 7 PSI in the tank. I was actually surprised and I thought it wouldn't last quite that long!
I still need to buy a shower head / hose for this.
If you haven't seen my other videos, make sure to check those out so you can see the whole van build and follow me along on my future adventures!

Nice setup!! Now that’s something I could make but first I need a roof rack. ( running boards too 😮) Thanks for sharing your setup.

Hey Bronson, I am amaze how awesome and innovative you are with your whole camper van build. I was thinking of adding a shower to portable shower with heater, pump and tent to my raptor when I am out in the desert but they are expensive. I really like your shower build better as it is simpler and more cost effective and works. I will be adding this to make bed rack on my ra;ptor.
    Thanks for sharing

Anytime bud, I’m glad I could help! I had it sitting in the sun for about 10 minutes and the pipe was too hot to touch

A one gallon per minute 🚿 shower nozel would save you way more water and make it come out with harder pressure. 🚿 🚿

You are right, I’ll be buying one

Excellent idea to use it both as a shower and as water storage. And it matches perfectly - sorry, little OCD kicking in.

      Thank you very much!
I had to spend a little more for the black ABS pipe vs regular pvc but it was well worth it

this was so informative. I had no idea air was needed to pressure the water out!

Nice!! 👍 Maybe carry a screw on shower head with an on off valve to conserve water when showering

Yes I sure did, I need to address that…

Drain pipe is not what you should use. It will not hold pressure very well.
Use the white water pipe and paint it black. Ive had one for 10 yrs and it still works. The black pipe does not do well in heat or pressure.

It holds pressure perfect. It’s because I can do a good glue job… 😳

@@bgrace27 Zip lock baggie can hold water too, but not just very long, even if you use glue.
      Just some advice.
