How to build a Wind Guard for an Astro Van

- If you have ever had a problem with your solar panel flying off of your van on the freeway because of the wind, you've come to the right place!
This fall my solar panel went flying off my van due to a lack of wind guarding design but that is now fixed with this DIY Wind Guard. This problem should never arise again (hopefully).
If your looking to build your own, simply follow the steps in the video and I'll leave a list of material I used below, and HAVE PATIENCE :)

I love working with my dad, he’s awesome and can solve any problems. He’s saved my butt more than once so I’m more than happy to have him around at any time!
WOW 😳, I can't imagine witnessing my solar panel flying off my van, lucky it didn't hit another vehicle. Nice work on the Wind Fairing! It will be super nice to have a big decrease in noise as you travel down the road, I've gotta get me one. Slim Potatohead used a snow board as a wind guard. It worked perfectly.

So the bolted down solar panel was a fail but the light bar attached with magnets hasn't missed a beat? 😂 I love it. I'm a magnet using, steel zip tie securing, 3m glue tape attaching kind of person so I love seeing stuff like this.
Yeah man 😂 those things are actually super strong, they had me worried a few times going 80mph in 30mph wind but upon getting out, they hadn’t budged an inch.

Yes for sure a video on custom van builds on parts and fabrication would be awesome as you can save so much money and have the pride of building and Installing it. Factory parts are ok but are so expensive that a lot of people can't afford to buy them
