Lovebites shows their versatility here. It is a beautiful song with inspirational sentiment. I can understand why Lulu got emotional over this song. I like to say when it comes to great music that you love, you don't just listen to it, you experience it. It elicits an emotional response as it did with Lulu here.
That's what Lovebites can do like no other band: touch the heart ...in many beautiful ways.
No shame in shedding a few tears in this one. I can confirm 50+ year old guys who have been listening to metal their whole lives have been moved to tears by Asami. Means you heard her, and that makes me happy.

The young lady began to cry because she was the only one of the three of you who watched and listened to the entire song very carefully. I think that she was the only one who understood the meaning of the message to people that the authors of the songs put into 'Rising'.

Asami-san the vocalist・・I’ve never met her or talked to her、I trust that her lovely humanity is 100% reliable.
They are not only talented 、 but also train hard everyday、they can touch people’s hearts.
It's not necessarily the words that bring the tears, It's the raw emotion from the way Asami sings and how she brings emotions out with her breath & tone, in addition to the beautiful piano accompaniment.
This happens to me a lot for this song along with Edge of the world, Empty daydream, Journey to the Other side, The Final collision, Under the red sky, Bravehearted, Glory to the world & Epilogue.

September Lovebites will be touring the USA Atlanta Georgia Prog Power (Sold Out) Current cities with tickets on sale Dallas and Los Angeles both had their venues upgraded due to ticket sales and San Francisco is at some cafe so I expect it's venue wili upgrade as well I am hoping the next cities they add are closer to home like Seattle or Portland

Don't not be ashamed young lady, your are not alone! This Tuesday I experienced Lovebites live for the 1st time in the first row right between Midori & Fami. Rising (metal version) was on the set-list and when the solo section started I started bawling until the final notes rang out. This has never happened to me at a live event. Side note: I a 58 years old metal-head and at times can be described as somewhat cynical.

Is this singer from, I don't know where, Eastern Europe somewhere or New Zealand or Greenland or I don't know, but she sure has the oddest pronunciation that makes it very difficult to understand what most of her words are. That's sweet that Lulu can be so moved by hearing a song, that's a sure sign of a person with a good heart and soul. I also loved seeing your family dog rummaging around.
The singer and pianist are both members of a Japanese metal band named Lovebites. The singer, Asami has a strong Japanese accent and pronunciation, although she does speak good English, which is not an easy language for a native Japanese speaker to learn. If you enjoyed this song, please do try another from the whole band. There is the original 'metal' version of Rising which you could try for the contrast to this version. Swan Song (with a Chopin piano introduction played by Miyako, pianist in this video) Frozen Serenade or Edge of the World are good examples of their musical ability.

@@dggydddy59 Babymetal was formed by a corporation and designed for entertainment. Lovebites was created by the 5 members themselves and they did all the work themselves to write their own music and play their own instruments. The only similarity to Babymetal is that they are both from Japan.
