Her band is incredible with a Concert Pianist, Body Builder competitor, the bass player is no longer, they have a new bass player it was only 20. Then the little engine who is smallest 4ft nothing. I hope one day they make it to the United States
Atlanta, Georgia, USA, September 6th, 2024, sold out. Spain, June 19th, 2024. These are the two known dates for 2024. You could imagine, that there will be some more shows in the summer, both in Europe and in the US...
I have four suggestions for your next Lovebites reaction, even though honestly you could choose whatever song you want, because they're all fantastic. But these are all for sides of Lovebites you haven't seen yet:
1) Both songs you've seen are more power metal, so maybe it's time for their thrash metal side. There I'd suggest Break The Wall (live): ruclips.net/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/видео.html
2) On the other hand, they have a few power ballads. I think their best is Edge Of The World (live): ruclips.net/video/UZjxMjBop7w/видео.html

4) And finally you mentioned them having fun. They have a lot of fun in this studio video (casual clothes, not stage outfits), also with the new bassist: Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'em Down): ruclips.net/video/4ImGA7cPyrs/видео.html. (I personally prefer this to the recent live version because I don't really dig they way Asami sings the chorus live.)
I agree with the "Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)". You should definitely watch the studio video (not the live version), because it really shows a more fun and casual appearance of them and it also has their new bassist, Fami.
Hehehehe seems you've discovered how freakin talented is "little engine Haruna" (drummer) and the rest of them. Great reaction.

This was my introduction to the band, was blown away. Song #2 in an approx. hour and 45 minute concert, and yes, they kept up the energy throughout. This is your introduction to original bassist, and band co-founder ,Miho. She left in 2021, Fami , whom you saw in your other reaction, joined last year Oct.
The guitarist that Kathy likes, on screen left with the blonde pony tail, is Midori, she got into competition body building since this concert, you have seen the results. lol . Haruna is a beast on drums, Asami on vocals. Did you see the piano on stage? It's not just for show, guitarist Miyako plays a Chopin piano intro on "Swan Song" here.
They aim for perfect heavy metal band by sophisticated women．

I love to see this 3 generation reaction that clearly verifies LB is enjoyable all across the ages! Many people recommend many songs. Yes, I would do the same thing, as they do not have any waste songs!! But out of these greatnesses, for your change of enjoyment, very personally I would recommend Swan Song with Chopin piano intro, and Frozen Serenade of exquisite ballade rock. Ps They come to US in the next autumn. Can’t wait for that!!
The incredible lightness of being Lovebites ... it all seems so effortless. These ladies truly play in a league of their own. A unique and very important band.
It's nice to see younger people starting to recognize that Lovebites is a great band. More young people need to be exposed to them.

I always suggest "Holy War" as a starter but "Stand and deliver " ... Live... was just released you will be impressed

Great review. There is talent, but they are dedicated and practice for relentless perfection. Haruna, the drummer is only 4' 9" and plays like this for a 2 hour set. Many claim shevis an Android, but her cymbal work is legendary. Other all female bands you would like are ThecWarning, Band Maid, Nemophila, Aldious, etc. The musical talent in Japan is insane and a lot of it is female. Welcome to the Wolfpack!!

About the dresses, When Lovebites was touring Europe with DragonForce, a French metal magazine interviewed Asami (singer) and asked her about it, her response was, "We're girls, we don't want to dress like boys. Also, we are all small so the white and gold makes it easier to see us on stage." And they ARE small! Haruna (drums) is only 4'9", Asami is 4'10", Midori (Blond guitarist) is 4'11" as is the bassist Miho and Miyako (black haired guitarist) is the tallest at 5'2". Their new bassist, Fami is also 5'2".
On their off time Miyako, besides being a mother of two, likes to go fishing and recently went fishing with the singer for Nemophila (an awesome all female metal band from Japan that you should check out, look for their song, Dissension). Midori started weightlifting during Covid and liked it so much she is also a competitive bodybuilder/Fitness Model when she is not playing with the other ladies of Lovebites. Also during Covid, Miyako and Midori would have daily Zoom calls so they could still practice together.
Today Asami, Haruna and Midori Tweeted that they all went to a concert in Yokohama to see Band Maid give their last performance of their 10-year celebration tour. Band Maid is another badass female Japanese group you should check out. I suggest reacting to Real Existence, the MV not the live performance (yet) to get an idea of what they are like. Band Maid is more of a hard Rock band rather than a metal band.
I have other Japanese groups for you to see but, Band Maid and Nemophila will do for now.
Miho is 5'1" and Miyako only has 1 child. Perhaps you are thinking of Tamu from NEMOPHILA who has 2 children!!!!!

This concert is awesome.
The opening song, Thunder Vengeance, has a great intro and the ladies are dressed in colonial jackets. They used this song to set the tone of the concert and they rocked out for 18 songs throughout the show.

@@dregeye that’s great! I haven’t seen them talk about each other in any interviews but it’s good to know that they are mutually supportive. Both bands are at the absolute vanguard of rock and metal and they should combine forces where they can.

LOVEBITES is one of the best heavy metal bands in the world! 🤘
Haruna is the Drummer, and I have stated in the past to other people, I believe Haruna could out stomp an Ostrich. Haruna and Miho (bassist, here) were the founders of the band. Asami (Vocalist and piano) was an aspiring ballerina, studying in the USA; until an injury ended her ballet career. She was doing some singing to pay the bills at that time but mostly blues and R&B, how she was tagged for this group, I don't know; but I am absolutely ecstatic about the choice.

This is about 6 years old, but features a 15 year old guitarist, and 17 and 18 year old brothers on bass and drums.
No playlist for lovebites doesn't make it easy to recommend anything, and I'm a little surprised to be honest considering what you think about them. All I can say is choose any and you'll not be disappointed, maybe try one of their E songs 🤘🎤🎸🥁🎹🐺

If you love Lovebites you might like these other bands from Japan as well. My favorite is Band-Maid, check out the song Shambles. But they are amazing live so check out the song Puzzle. The next band is a classic rock style-ish band called Glim Spanky, the singer Remi is called the Janis Joplin of Japan. They have a new song out, Glitter Illusion. The next is Trident, a female 3-piece hard rock/metal band. They also have a new song called Kick Ass.

@@bonered9210 Yes true. But many are going to do that. I'm trying to let them know there's more than Lovebites. I love them but there is so many great bands from Japan. They have also asked before for other bands. Not just songs from the band they are watching right then.

musical taste of the three of you is amazing, as you were able to discern everything about lovebites after listening to it only twice. Thank you for your continued support of lovebites. Especially drummer Haruna, she has learned the drums for 10 years and has the basics. Her playing style, which does not move above her shoulders, does not hit hard, and she hits the center of the drum with precision. As a result, her drum sticks were not damaged at all after playing. She also doesn't get tired no matter how fast she drums because her upper body barely moves, and she doesn't sweat even after a long gig.
