      Hey bro I have a 2019 limited also, did you buy the standard length or the longer one for lifted trucks? Asking because of the air suspension?

    Replaced mine as soon as suspension maxx came out with them. Best purchase ever. No more clunk for my beautiful ram. Pricey but worth it.

      Did the bottom brackets spin on you when retightening them? Did you hold them in place while tightening?

    I installed these on my 2019 Ram Rebel after installing Rough Country 3 1/2 in loaded struts in front and new Rough Country UCA. When taking off the old sway bar end links I found that the driver side connection to sway bar was only hand tight and the passenger side was lose on sway bar connection. A squeak I had on the passenger side when rocking the truck is now gone, sure it was due to the sway bar end links have never been tightened at factory! Was very hard to get the last bolt attached on the SuspensionMaxx end link, but very happy it is done.

    I had a pair on a 3rd ram 1500, no major off-roading , they rust like hell up in the salt bed , the top broke off recently on the drivers side.

    Did you have issues with the bottom twisting when you went to tighten it?

  • @ramlimited2141
    @ramlimited2141 Год назад +2

    I just installed these , but when retightening the bottom bolt I realize that the bracket moves as well . Is there a specific direction the bottom bracket suppose to be facing ? Or am I supposed let it spin or hold it in place while I tighten?

    I have 2022 ram Rebel with 5100 bilstein front & rear and zone UCA was wondering do you think I would benefit with upgrading end links as you did with your Rebel.???

    • @WaterFowler41
      @WaterFowler41  2 года назад

      Check your sway bar and see if it’s pointing towards the ground more than it is parallel, if it is, these could be beneficial for you

    2019 Ram 1500. Purchased in 2020 with 24k miles. Installed Readylift 2" level at that time. At 33k miles had to replace the front sway bar links. Now at 62k miles they need to be replaced again. Do you think this is due to the level? Factory UCAs. OEM links are on back order. I'm wondering if these longer links are just what I need? Might avoid replacing every 30k miles?

    How have these held up, one year later?

  • @overlandski7795
    @overlandski7795 11 месяцев назад

    After watching your video, I went ahead and ordered these. I must say this was the most frustrating and worst upgrade I have done to my truck. I keep having knocking noises over and over. They have to be retightened all the time. Also, after only having them on for six months, they rusted all over the place. I also tried to submit a bad review on their website 3 times and it never posted. Its amazing how there is not a single review posted( because they do not allow them to be posted) my rear OEM links are perfect and these rusted right away. Very poor quality and nothing but an annoying part

    • @WaterFowler41
      @WaterFowler41  11 месяцев назад

      Bummer man, mine are still going strong. Have you tried using some loctite to keep things situated? And if they are tight, are you sure the knocking noise is going from the end links and not something else in the front end?

    • @overlandski7795
      @overlandski7795 11 месяцев назад

      @@WaterFowler41 yea im sure its the end links because the second i tighten them the noise goes away and then they loosen up again. Do your shafts spin on them? Mine do and i found that odd. Almost like they are just tubes

      @@overlandski7795 if I really try I can probably spring the sleeves on the shafts but definitely cannot spin the threaded shaft. If you're getting knocking from the end links its most likely the connection between the end link and the sway bar, not the links internal connects or the link to lower control arm. I would definitely try some Loctite on the nuts to see if that keeps things in place. I would inspect your sway bar and see if the hole somehow rounded itself out.

    What symptoms was your Ram experiencing that made made you swap out the end links?

    • @WaterFowler41
      @WaterFowler41  2 года назад

      Angle of the sway bar was no longer parallel to the ground which I know will impact a sway bars ability to perform and puts undue stress on the end links. With the longer links the sway bar is flat now.

    • @armandomoreno1955
      @armandomoreno1955 2 года назад

      @@WaterFowler41 was the ride being affected with the stock end links? I seem to feel my ride get worse on mine with bilsteins until I loosen the end links and retorque them down again.

    • @WaterFowler41
      @WaterFowler41  2 года назад

      It may have been, the sway bar works best when it’s parallel to the ground, if it’s pulled down you’re going to have a slightly rougher ride

    • @armandomoreno1955
      @armandomoreno1955 2 года назад

      @@WaterFowler41 I ended up purchasing these and they arrived today. Did they drop in easily? I dropped them into the control arm and as much as I tried I could not get it close enough to go into the top sway bar hole. I ended up calling suspensionmaxx and sent them pics.

    • @WaterFowler41
      @WaterFowler41  2 года назад

      Mine popped right in, you need to install both sides at the same time so you aren’t fighting one end of the sway bar

      They make a version that is for stock suspension, and definitely worth it if you're in need of replacing your factory one's due to clanking, squeaking, etc

    Those stock links are so weak stick and skinny that when I forgot to unhook mine and was jacking it up to pull my coils the links snapped like a Chinese crap fu#k, I fabricated some burly ones for mine because I'm running 38s and a 12 inch lift
