    Helpful video for our next year's plans for our trip to Tokyo! Just as helpful as your past videos on Kyoto, which we are visiting this month. One question regarding Tokyo: we are planning to fly into Haneda, stay one night at the airport hotel and then use the Keikyu line to go to Asakusa and stay at a hotel there. Can you see any problems with this basic plan? Thank you as always!

    • @tokyokenchan
      @tokyokenchan  Год назад +1

      Kavin san, Dale san, thank you for your support for the video! I'm glad the video was helpful for your trip next year. :) As for the travel plan, I suppose you arrive Haneda late? In that case I think that is good idea. T3 has Royal Park in by the terminal, Villa Fontane across from the T3 in the new shopping mall, and Excel Tokyu in T2. In case your hotel is expensive or far away from the airport, you might feel that it was easier just to take train/taxi to Asakusa. They used to have a direct bus to Asakusa but hasn't resumed yet. I remember you asked about the rush hour in Tokyo before, so if you are trying to avoid that, you might be able to go to the last stop (T1 and 2) by Keikyu and take the train to Tokyo direction so you can get seat for sure if you wait. However, I understand it's overwhelming after a long flight, so I think it's still good idea to stay at airport hotel. Please let me know if you have any questions!

      Hello Chris san, yes! I was going to tell you but I got one Sony camera finally. It's difficult and I'm struggling, found out how great iPhone is. 😅 It's delaying my videos and started to wonder if footage is important for information based contents. I need lots of practice and study. I will live with this one though. It's great you noticed it. Thank you!

      Oh thanks so much for thinking about that@@tokyokenchan :) I have a Sony too, an A7rii mirrorless full frame, it's a little bit old now but it is so fun and can take some incredible shots. But yes, they are so technical, and kind of complicated to use on the fly without being a full-time pro, so can take quite a lot of practice to get used to. I used mine recently to take photos for my business site and my new headshot photo. But I was going to say your shots looked really nice. There's definitely a more artistic quality to the Sony ones, and I think they added a nice touch, another level of professionalism to your videos :)

      @jenny3496 Oh I think it’s very easy in Tokyo. Either going to department stores or stations, or sometimes there is a clean public bathroom. Thank you for asking. :)

    the best 5 days itinerary is to not make any just pick a train station, spend 2~3 hours exploring and to the next one. Just don't forget the time for the last train :D. Thanks for the video Ken-chan

      Thank you for the tips! I agree about not deciding the station. Sometimes good scenes are between stations. :)

    Great recommendations! The one thing to mention is that, for Ghibli museum, you can't get the ticket at the door, you need to book them way in advance 😉

      That's true. I might have sounded like you can make decision in the morning and just drop by ... Thank you for watching and letting me know!
