Each new video I watch about Japan just makes me realize that I could spend two lifetimes exploring Japan and still not see and experience everything that I would like.
I have been watching many many videos to prepare our trip to Tokyo but you come up with some really great and unique tips for souvenirs. Love the way you keep finding different ways and angles to show Tokyo! Thank you very much 😃
I wonder if one can find stores in Tokyo with really big sized traditional clothes? Does sumotori has dedicated shops or all their kimonos are custom-made?
other than Haneda, I could not find anywhere I visited in Tokyo for postcards. I did see them in art museums but those postcards were specific to paintings in the museum that was put on a postcard. I plan to return in April to Tokyo only for a week.
I couldnt find a name but I did find out where it's at if that helps it is across the street and over a bit from a shop called "lemon" in nippori that shops address is 5 Chome-47-12 Higashinippori, Arakawa City, Tokyo 116-0014, Japan hope this helps ill be in Japan in about a week if I can remember I'll update my comment
It is a very old style store and it is not really on google maps very local. We can always help you if you come to japan. The name of the store is in Japanese only: 国立毛皮工房 sorry we didn’t include in the video.
I really enjoyed your video and clicked on the link to look at your tour as we will be in Tokyo in October. Unfortunately we cannot use you as you don't offer them to people over 64! ?
So much variety. I'm not really into anime so this store isn't too interesting... OOOOOHHHHHHHHH TRAINS THEY HAVE TRAIN STUFF!!! Must have a fun shopping day toward the end of my trip. Some vintage prints from Jimbocho, fun gifts for friends, and TRAIN STUFF!!!
What a cool video! I love hearing about hidden things and listening to people share their enthusiasms and high recommendations. Your English is fantastic by the way, wow! 💯💯👍 Thank you for uploading this and being so inspiring and energising at the same time.
@@Howzit_japan I will! Next year! This year I'll be down in the Yaeyama islands trying to find the sun that we've not seen here in England this summer, ha!😎🍻
Tokyo Banana is like saying you MUST buy a 10 pack of hotdogs to bring back with you. TB are everywhere in Japan. It is like a Twinkie with banana instead of whipped creme, nothing stellar.

Hi I’m coming to Tokyo japan with family from dec 15 for a month, would like to book a tour guide, please advise how do I book. Thank you
other than Haneda, I could not find anywhere I visited in Tokyo for postcards. I did see them in art museums but those postcards were specific to paintings in the museum that was put on a postcard. I plan to return in April to Tokyo only for a week.
Let us know when you come back! We can take you to many places that have postcards! There should be a lot in local mom and pop stationary stores.
Snoopy!!!
I didn’t know about a few of these places
I'm going for 3 weeks and I can't think of anything I would want to buy aside from an authentic Samurai sword
That Frieza trash bin is cursed beyond belief.
My child loves Gudetama. Is it easy to find merchandise without going to a cafe or Sanrio store? I will only have 2 days in Tokyo. Thanks!
Yes! Gudetama goods are almost everywhere it is very popular.
Great video! We're going back in a couple weeks! What is the kimono shop in Nippori called?
I couldnt find a name but I did find out where it's at if that helps it is across the street and over a bit from a shop called "lemon" in nippori that shops address is

the mini monster key chain dolls you see in tourist shops. you find certain kinds in certain areas. you cant find them online.
Yeah we learned that recently our selves! It’s funny
Haha there are many similar stores we should have shown too
Hi, which store is this 9:13 ?
Would you know what is the average price for a second-hand
kimono?
They are usually on a commission basis so either us or you would need to contact the kimono stores directly. It is something we could handle.
❤
Did the kimono place have a name?
It doesnt actually have a name yet it seems. We can always get you in contact with them if you want through our homepage inquiry.
Where can I buy Yomiuri Giants shirt and hat?
You can buy them in Tokyo dome!
@@Howzit_japan what about in Shinjuku or Shibuya?
Looks just like the stuff they sell on Amazon.
What a cool video! I love hearing about hidden things and listening to people share their enthusiasms and high recommendations. Your English is fantastic by the way, wow! 💯💯👍 Thank you for uploading this and being so inspiring and energising at the same time.
Thank you so much! I am still working on my English everyday. Let us know if you are ever in Tokyo!

nakamise street souveniers expensive
Looking for a good bead store
nippori fabric ...expensive textiles
Best place in Tokyo to buy a Japanese kitchen knife?
Kappabashi street in Asakusa is our best bet!
Yoshikin in Roppongi Hills sells Global knives, very high quality, but is expensive.
I recommend KIYA.
