For someone which stayed in Ueno myself i totally agree Ueno is really the best it has everything you need but if you want night life you will need to travel 30 min from Ueno
Would you recommend staying at Mesm Tokyo, Autograph Collection? I’ve heard contradicting info on the area it’s in, but seems close to go to Disneyland and the train doesn’t seem far. Thank you! Really liked this video!
We think it is a very high class hotel, if you are looking for cheaper options there are many in the Tokyo station area that you can also get to Disneyland easily from. Tokyo station has many signs to get to Disneyland. However that is close to the park.

We spent a week in Ueno. Great place as mentioned in the video and also close to several great museums.

I stayed in Ginza close to the Kabuki theatre and it was excellent. Good service everywhere and good location.

Nice video,have been several times in tokyo and each time I stayed in shiodome, 5 minutes from shimbashi station
Shiodome is very fun I think! A lot of stuff for kids to do at the Odaiba area.

Ginza is great because it is in such a central area! We really recommend it as the other commentor said Mitsui Garden is lovely!

Akasaka is near Shibuya, far southwest of Ueno.
