Ista+ helped me solve all the issues i had with a project car , i was able to troubleshoot 90 faults, run adaptions and replace modules . Its a must have and beginner friendly .
Hi Both, awesome video. Need your assistance with boost issues on E70 X5 M50d which has triple turbos. The issue is we have boost up go 3000 RPM and nothing thereafter. I have tested vacumn pipes using a vacumn gauge with the engine running and manually switching the electric values. I found the right hand side engine mounting which operates under vacumn is faulty. The left side is fine. Would this cause the issue? All the vacumn actuators at each turbo works fine using a manual vacumn pumps.

After 2 week later car warning message giiving me (drivetrain fauld full performances not available continue to journey) my friend told me maybe my car have remap. I calld today bmw they told ne if is are problem about egr we will fix it free. If is not you have to pay for Diagnostic. If car has remap what would be happen? I dnt knw what to do pls give me idea m8 pls!? I dnt knw about remap on the car ibmw doesn’t knw is well. They ssking 150 pounf for diagnosing!
First you said you CAN'T clear codes with ISTA because the car was remapped.. then you cleared them.... Did I miss something on HOW to clear them without buggering the remap? (I kinda zoned out when he started blithering on about the voltage stabilizer - 10 seconds is enough time to explain it)
I think it’s because these bmw diesels when mapped they get torque limiter monitor codes. Which is why I’m guessing George had the codes. Only a certain few people when mapping can adjust each limiter. Most just do a DTC off and never get any errors.
The biggest fault in your car is, you let this crap in your car. Go to Google and buy the software with the cable and you won't need a crapy doc anymore mate..

Except ISTA works just fine on remapped cars. I’m *literally* using it now (on my modded m4) when your video came on in the background. 😂
