Did you splice the wire into the red?

Yes i cut the (black connector) wire as stated in video. Soldering a new wire into both ends that were cut. And ran that new wire into the red wire on the other connector and soldered that wire into both ends i had cut.
Not sure if connecting each wire that was cut back intoitself with the new wire in the middle matters but thats what i did.

Just did this job and if you buy the proper harness for the vehicle you have then it's all plug and play except the antenna...

Do you think the wire colors are the same for 2010 hyundai genesis 4.6 ?it also has navigation and really hope I’m able to change it out ! I really don’t care about not being able to see how cold the ac is I just care about Bluetooth aux and being able to connect subwoofers on them for better signal

What about lexicon with the dis knob where's the trigger wire

Looks like he has OE touchscreen so the wiring harness and turning on the amp would be different from the tech package (with stupid knob by the gear shifter).

"So what you need to do is get a wire from the ignition, the red, to the amp, and it will start...the amp". Where is the wire from the ignition coming from, like where do i find it? How do I then get it to the amp?
This is driving me crazy and the people who sell these things are absolutely useless. Thank you for any help you have.
