- Decided to install an android stereo with apple car play and android auto in my 2001 BK1 Genesis Coupe (JUDY). it was well worth it....great upgrade from the OEM stereo system have got recommended..

I might just do the ambient lighting one of these days as for Starlights I don't think the amount of effort to do it worth it IMO

Do i have to unplug the battery to the car if i don't have the quick release steering wheel
You should unplug the battery (I don't) don't be like me. You should unplug the battery when doing any electrical work on your car.

I need help, can you just tell me what the blue and white wire (AMP ON) connect to. What color goes to what... Blue and white to what???
@@jeffreytiffany3246 in the video you could see I have a red plug that should have came with you wiring harness that is what t connects to and you just have to plug it into the wire ng harness on the OEM plug side that came out of the OEM radio
so the blue and white wire doesnt connect to anything just plug the red connector in the oem black?
if its poossible could i get a personal (discord, snap) to show you what im working with?

@@jeffreytiffany3246 no the blue and white wire connects to the blue and white wire that is in the red connector it's the only wire that's in that connector then you just have to plug it in.

@@zamarianbulger7983 if that's the case it is not stock someone might if replaced it already... And you can still do this regardless of what screen is in there.
@@LoniVlogZ I mean I looked up 2010s interiors and some do come stock with a screen
@@zamarianbulger7983 in that case it shouldn't matter just make sure to get the wiring harness and check the bezel make sure it fits 2010 and it should work the same...... All this is making sure you have the right wiring harness and the right bezel and any radio can work

steering wheel controls still work?
@@user-su8rb7zj7c I have an quik release steering wheel so no.... But I believe you will have to get a separate module to get that to work there is a wire in the harness from the radio for steering wheel controls

@@LoniVlogZ how about the sound? i bought a harness for factory amp and factory infinity speakers but theres a constant hissing noise i dont hear it when the music is loud but i hear it at low volumes does urs do that?

What wire did connect the amp with?
There is a blue and white wire to your stereo if you got the kit it will plug into the black harness in the car. If you don't have the wiring harness give me a couple minutes I'll go check to see which wire it connects to and I'll come back and let you know
It connects to the yellow and orange wire that next to 2 red wires on one side and right next to it is a black and orange or black and red wire
So from the harness kit the blue and white wire (red connector) to the black wire also from the kit?
@@Sirmac227 no it's blue and white to blue and while on the stero harness it should say amp or something like that if you have the wiring kit.... And it will only fit into one of the plugs that you take out on the left side of the OEM radio the one at the very top ( if you have the kit and an aftermarket stereo then you just connect it to the blue and white wire that says AMP from the stereo harness side)
@@Sirmac227 all the colors match up when you are connecting the harness you bought to the stereo harness and if you are not sure it says on the back of the wiring harness package as well
how much it all cost?
It's was around $360 for everything
