- Hero Xpulse 200 is a very capable light weight offroader, but one thing which stops it to be a good tourer are it's wheels.
I changed the SPOKE WHEELS with ALLOYS to make it Touring ready with added reliability.

Need more videos reviewing the ride quality of the xpulse before and after the switching of wheels. Performance on and off road. Maintenance and replacement of the alloys and the parts around the wheel assembly. And please give us a breakdown of the costs involved and the workshops/mechanics you relied on for this modification. Many of us who are looking to get an xpulse but are put off my the tube type tyres are counting on your video and your review of the mod to make a decision.

On road handling (cornering) improve hui kya with these wheels. Supermoto lagti hai bike with these wheels.
Same here. My plan is to use the rear (spokes) rim from a jawa perak and front from any rear rim as long as it's 17 inch and broad enough . Tyres can be 140 or 150 70 17 for rear and 110 17 for front. Use street tires like the ones on r15 or CBR 250. Difficulty will be in getting the spokes shortened
Perak rear rim is perfect for Super moto mod (17X4.25) with 150/60
For spoke you could go for himalayan rear wheel spokes, that's a 17 inch rim also with similar hub design. Those might be a direct fit.

Totally loved yor modification. Actually i was thinking something similar for seat height reduction as i am a short person. I have one question can we use 19 inch wheel at front as it will look more proportionate as per the bike. Also please do make a video on the performance changes after this modification.

I'm using the 200t model and it comes from the factory with a 100 front 130 rear. Is it safe and correct to fit 110 and 140 on these rims?

Yes you have done the modification by installing Alloy wheels and I suggest the company has to do the same Alterations as suggested to make more good looking xpulse 200 4V

Bhai, one doubt. since the diameter of the wheel changed, what about the speedometer reading? will it be proper or do we have any method to change that according to the wheel?

So how difficult was it to get the other parts like spacers, seals and rear brake bracket. When it's comes to small parts it's always a pain to get them. Is hero service center help full in this case. Also 17 cost you mentioned is including tyres.
How much ground clearance decreases on changing 200T alloy . Is there any change in upright riding stance due to less handle hight . Is there any change in front suspension performance.

823 MM is stock bike seat height in spokes wheel. I want to know if this has come down after you have fitted alloy wheels.

Just a thght - Wouldn't the 19 inch Alloys that come with Ktm 390/250 adventure with 100 section for Front & 18 inch alloys from Highness or 17 inch alloys from again KTM 390/250 adventure with 130 section made more sense since it doesn't alter the default settings by huge margin and also keeps the off road spirit alive for suspension to support it!!!!

Seriously puncture removal is faster with tubeless so alloys is a good option. Not to mention abs setting can't be done in all shops so

Suspension play is not impacted at all. In fact you get more road grip due to broad tyres

Glad you liked it. Ground clearance reduced approximately by an inch, but I haven't faced any issued over bumps or during light offroading.
