Hey everyone! Thanks for taking time to check out my video! To clarify, my gameplay is on PC. Console seems to have a few different features than the PC version, causing differing results. Nothing critical but I did want to acknowledge and list them here. - The 'TIRED' status seems to be Console specific - Console has a 5th interactive shark, the "Black Tip Reef Shark" - Small rafts have been reported to flip but this seems to be Console specific as well If anyone comes across more, I will list them here. Cheers!
Tip #7 correction: You can leave *most* things on the beach and not worry about them despawning, but potatoes are an exception. If you find a potato, store it away in a crate immediately. Tip #17: You can use a worn- out refined axe to build a plank station and then destroy the plank station. This will reward you with a brand new 100% durability refined axe. Tip #18: Refined spears are best used for killing threats on land, especially snakes and giant boars. Don't use them in the ocean because you probably won't get them back. Tip #24: If you only place 2 containers per shelf instead of 3, you'll have a more clear field of view. Tip #27: Base building is fun and adds to the immersion, but is really just a waste of time and resources if your goal is to escape. A couple bonus tips... Tip #31: Throw a spear into the ground and tip your liferaft up on it. This will provide shelter from the sun. Tip #32: When visiting other islands, build a shelter on the beach pointing home. This way you can always find your way back.
Thanks for the pointers! I didnt know that about the refined ax, haha thats a neat trick! Honestly, most of the things to do in this game are a waste of time if the goal is to escape but thats why they want you to stay for 100 days first 😎 Id love to hear your input on my other tips as well :) cheers.

Another good tip: I always carry 4 or 5 crates on me and when I get to an island, i drop them all on the floor, then fill them all with loot and pick them up again making your inventory a hell of a lot bigger. Of course you can fill your inventory with crates so essentially every 1 slot will hold the 5 items in each crate. And no you can't put a crate in a crate in a crate and so on, I tried 😂.
TIP: The first thing I do BEFORE I build my base is to walk/swim the perimeter of the island and use a triangle foundation to COVER every purple spiky, so I never accidentally contact one. This makes it so I can come to shore without having to remember where they are.
Thats a pretty clever idea! Knowing myself tho, id end up getting my raft stuck on them all at some point 😅 Those purples can be a pain sometimes but thats why i carry a few antidotes with me on raft at all times. 😎

Yes! The abundance of lanterns is quite nice and good idea about using them as visited island markers at night. Unfortunately, their visible range isn't as far as it should be. Repeat this until you have a gyrocopter....then systematically erase island environments. Go kill 3 brain dead "bosses" fix the plane...Winner winner chicken dinner. There is no thrill, no excitement, no sense of impending doom...game could have been so much...instead copy paste islands and daily chores until at long last it is over. I let the kid play DayZ....he doesn't play Stranded Deep anymore. This is a base building game (and a bad one at that) with a tedious survivor aspect thrown in. A good game if you are getting into the Genre...and failed to notice Minecraft. the best part of the entire game is the first time you set sail to a new island on your own raft. After 3 islands...you'll get what I am saying. That quaint little raft evolves into a hoard ship...looking more like a chest room than a raft.

Yeeeeeeoooooooooo! 😎
Way late to the party...the kid told me to try it since I play DayZ. After 3 days I am done. Spawn in, build a fire, water, shelter. Build a Raft...go to an island...kill a snake, a crab, and a boar. Erase the environment and build raft bigger. Go to a new Island...build fire, water, a shelter. Kill a crab, a boar, and a snake...erase the environment and make your raft bigger.
To each, their own.
That is for PC on ps or Xbox its different
Correct

Jumping Jack's work well
Did you know you can place meat on top of the fire and it will cook, ✌️
You can also jump by pushing the space bar.
