  • Calories in different types of Indian foods, and how to choose foods with low calories and high calories are discussed in this video.
    All foods are not the same. If you have a specific goal of weight loss or weight gain then you should be aware of calories in your food. Your main calories are explained here which come from the following foods:

    2. Vegetables
    3. Fruits
    4. Rice, Roti, Bread and Oats
    5. Pulses
    6. Milk and dairy Products
    7. Eggs and Chicken
    8. Sugar
    9. Soft Drinks
    10. Alcoholic Drinks
    11. Biscuits and Wafers

      @@sasirekha3211 Sometimes you may have it for instant energy as it contains mostly Carbohydrates with some vitamins and minerals. These Rasna packets contain mostly added sugar, so better to avoid them. Have some fruit that works better.

      @@chhatrapatishivaji9417 Usme carbs hi honge, sugar ke form me. Calories kam hogi but gum ke according vary kar sakti hai.
      Mouth fresh karne k liye kha sakte ho but as such uska bodybuilding me kuchh use nahi hai.

      7 egg whites, 3 whole eggs, 300 gram chicken, 100 gram rice, 2 bowls salad, whey protein. beginner level pe jo bhi consume karo uska total weight kitna hai wo jaan lo aur uska kitna proportion aap ne use kiya wo pata laga loge to weight easily pata chal jayega. but thodi patience rakhna.

    If protein rich food like pulses have high calorie or almost same calorie as carbohydrate then why it is recommended to have protein rich food and avoid carbs ,just because protein keeps us full for longer time or any other benefit. Also , I would like to understand more about a simple cabs and complex carbs ,As I can see you have calculated oats (complex carbs ) also same calorie as a normal white rice or chapati. what is the difference it will make in my body for weight loss .Please reply

      First of all, I suggest you to focus on fat loss instead of weight loss. For fat loss, you must be in a Calorie deficit. For that you have to calculate your daily calorie requirement.

      Then according to your goal (Fat loss), you have to maintain macro nutrients in which more preference is given to Protein. The reason is, Protein helps in recovery and building your muscles.

      After that role of Fat and Carbs is important for fat loss while maintaining muscles.
      Do not go deeper in to simple and complex carbs.
      Just avoid/decrease the amount of fried, oily, and baked foods, artificial sweeteners, cookies etc.
