Thy are my favorite band ever! Having said that, as much as I love Alice this guy never let anyone els speak except Alice. The Alice cooper Group was just that... a group, and the other members we just as cool and still are. Michael Bruce wrote almost all of the songs. The band had a collective immage that made them Alice Cooper. R.I.P Glenn.
This was at least 20 years overdue. Alice Cooper has been my favorite band since the mid-seventies, and for good reason. Also, they almost constantly tour, keeping a schedule baby bands of today cannot keep up with (except for a very few). Alice Cooper is a true rock force, and they've never compromised for anyone. Go Coop!
so happy the band got inducted ... massively underrated artistically for their influence on theatrical rock, pop, glam, metal, punk, gold lame and hair length: critically underrated for the fine quality of their Warner albums and the energy and dynamics in the rhythm section .... R E S P E C T the Coop :)
Long overdue induction into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. This band should have been inducted the first year the hall of fame opened. Too bad the bonehead interviewer didn't acknowledge Neal, Michael, and Dennis. I've been a fan of these guys since "Killer" came out in 1971. Great band. R.I.P. Glen Buxton
The one and only Alice Cooper Band, the original and the best, all the good stuff was done by this band and it is a credit to Alice for making sure the original group were inducted and not just him alone. Now for Marc Bolan!
Reporter: "so you guys gonna get a drink later?" Alice: "I'm gonna get a zero water" Lol he's so awsome! Im so glad these guys are finally getting inducted it's looooooong over due :)
Old time fan of Alice Cooper - not just Vincent Furnier - but the whole band: Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, Neal Smith and Glen Buxton. Love it to Death was one of our garage band's faves. I'm runnin' through the world with a gun at my back, tryin' to hitch a ride in a cadillac, thought that I was livin' but you can't never tell, what I thought was heaven turned out to be hell. Caught in a Dream!
I agree wholeheartedly - he should have ALREADY been in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. After platinum albums, he reminds me of . . . like a post-humus metal given to a war hero. It is a spotlighted example of how the 'Hall' is bland & blind, a showboat of BS that tabulates not necessarily worthy to be honoured artists, but those bands who the entertainment industry can bribe them to accept. Those of obvious merit are not inducted. How many judges have a grad degree in music theory / history? Sad.
For those too young to know, those three guys syaning behind Vince are the original band members of Alice Cooper, minus Glen Buxton who died several years ago. Very generous of him to invite them, he could have just used studio musicans.
Generous? They ARE Alice Cooper. They were all inducted as members of the group called Alice Cooper. Vince, took on the name Alice long after the band Alice Cooper was formed.
They once cleared out a concert hall in around ten minutes, people hated them that much..Which is something concedering that they were opening for The Doors. How times have changed.
@Stucifer No apology necessary. It is a sad story that involves the loss Glen and Alice having to give up drinking. I love Alice, I really do but, I really love the band. These are truly talented men and they collectively made history. Alice's best albums were with the band. You should listen to the Dennis Dunaway Project album Bones From The Yard too. Great album.
@darliegoddess Thanks for the correction. I've always been a fan of the original band. I meant the whole band, but I didn't acknowledge them in my comment. I apologize.
I am a major fan of all the bands you mentioned. The public is so stupid when it comes to music, I thought Alice was already in the h.o.f. ( shows what I knew lol). E.L.P. will never get in becouse of their sheer talent,I still am turning people onto them for the first time in 2012. Rush should be in without a thought about it. Lets hope they do. H.O.F. don't mean you are great it just means you got voted in.
yea it's a shame that after their break in 75 Cooper whent his seperate way. They never told the other members he was quitting. Alice was just the singer and that is the problem with front men, they take the credit. The band was Alice Cooper, not the Alice Cooper band! You are right when you say it's a slap in the face , Hell Alice only wrote a few songs by himself. It should be the Michael Bruce band if we are looking at it that way.
@InvaderOfYourHeart I KNOW! The guys at Rolling Stone need to check their facts. On their website, they have factual info wrong frequently. Alice was very nice to that guy so he's lucky.
I don't care for the stuff AC did after 1974 because it was all polished crap. The original band is what put that guy where he is today. I thing the name "Alice Cooper Group" is a slap in the face to the other members of that band. Wasn't the entire band known as Alice Cooper back in the late 60s-70s? They all shared that name though Muscles McNasal changed his name to AC. Now they are his "group"? Shit, who wrote the tunes? Not Alice. Read the credits on those albums.
Dick move for asking a former alcoholic if he was going to have a drink later, dick move for ONLY talking to Alice when the rest of the band was standing right beside him, this guy needs to do some research before he interviews total legends
When people like Alice Cooper are inducted into the Hall of Fame, it renders the award meaningless. He has no voice, and no groundbreaking musical talent whatsoever.
I agree. Love Vince, but Michael, Glen, Neal and Dennis were the heart and balls of this great band. Alice has never been the same
Great to see those guys together again, too bad Glen passed away.
Thy are my favorite band ever! Having said that, as much as I love Alice this guy never let anyone els speak except Alice. You got it brother.
the 3 treated as a back up band..window dressing.
The first time I heard Alice Cooper they changed my life hard rock rules
I feel soooo proud, because im very fan of alice cooper, and alice cooper band. And this is just amazing!!!

As a Kid I couldn't listen to Heavy Metal Bands but Alice Rocked My World. Thank You Alice Rock On
about time!

It would have been nice if neal smith, mike bruce, and, dennis dunnaway would have been allowed to say somthing
Congrats Alice!

he was just as dynamic as ozzy in the same arena,ALICE ROCKS HARD,got all his music on vinyl, yeah
LOVE YOU ALICE>>>
Reporter: "so you guys gonna get a drink later?"
Alice: "I'm gonna get a zero water"
Lol he's so awsome! Im so glad these guys are finally getting inducted it's looooooong over due :)
Pretties For You and Easy Action and even Muscle of Love too. I listen to them as much as the others.

IT'S about time! Now, get RUSH in there!
And The Guess Who.

yea, so smart, ask one of the most famous recovering alcoholics if he's going to have a drink
@Stucifer right I so agree with you.... He deserved to be here so many years ago... a legend.
@Stucifer right I so agree with you.... He deserved to be here so many years ago... a legend. he still looks the same he did 10 years ago....
Never thought about that. You`re right.
Its always irked me that no one else gets to speak during interviews with the band.
For those too young to know, those three guys syaning behind Vince are the original band members of Alice Cooper, minus Glen Buxton who died several years ago. Very generous of him to invite them, he could have just used studio musicans.

commentor not very good..didn't know who the other guys were probably

Alice almost looks like he's wearing one of his straitjackets, or is it just me?
I can't believe he wasn't already in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Where had they been?
@darliegoddess
Thanks for the correction. I've always been a fan of the original band. I meant the whole band, but I didn't acknowledge them in my comment. I apologize.
Just when I though the RRHOF was becoming like the Nobel prize (given to the wrong people for no apparent reason), moments like this are reassuring.

@Stucifer He? Them. It was the Alice Cooper Group that was inducted.
@gritnom Fuse is airing the HOF ceremony on Sun. Night. I have DirecTV and this video wasn't aired on the 101 channel
Were those mannequins up there with Alice or were they just not allowed to talk. Loved this band
Dream Theater, Judas Priest, Megadeth, and Motley Crue for RRHOF 2012!!!
yea it's a shame that after their break in 75 Cooper whent his seperate way. They never told the other members he was quitting. @halenfanatic Yeah fuse has exclusive rights and aired it 6 days later. Vh1 classic use to air the entire show. Now fuse chops it all up
@irwin3036able WHAAAT Judas priest is not there???? What the ¤%##? OMG next year plz
I wished the interviewer asked the other band members questions but oh well. 😬
@InvaderOfYourHeart
I KNOW! The guys at Rolling Stone need to check their facts. On their website, they have factual info wrong frequently.
Alice was very nice to that guy so he's lucky.
Actually, Alice is always polite and nice to everybody, a very well-liked guy.
I don't care for the stuff AC did after 1974 because it was all polished crap. The original band is what put that guy where he is today. The Alice Cooper Group/Band was inducted.
Glad Shep Gordon stayed.
Thee original alice Coope Band minus one.
Dick move for asking a former alcoholic if he was going to have a drink later, dick move for ONLY talking to Alice when the rest of the band was standing right beside him, this guy needs to do some research before he interviews total legends
They all still have their hair. Transplants? Or pure luck?
Muscles McNasal? Wth
When people like Alice Cooper are inducted into the Hall of Fame, it renders the award meaningless. He has no voice, and no groundbreaking musical talent whatsoever.
what are you braying and sniveling about?
Had some good songs but were average
