Enabler alert! Just ordered 3 magazines from high fructose. They were only $7.85 each. Not bad. Can't wait, magazines, scissors, glue, and a blank book fun times being had by all!!
Really enjoyed watching your harvesting! My daughter and I love Frankie and buy almost every issue and I have often thought about cutting them up for collage, but they are so wonderfully presented, that I can never quite bring myself to do it! Maybe you have given me the courage to do it....maybe ;)
Great idea about the journal. Just got me some page protectors today to start me a "Few of My Favorite Things" binder. Thanks for sharing, you have given me some ideas. Thanks for the giggles too.
+Sharon Luebker I'm so happy to hear you have new ideas!

I don't have any magazine subscriptions, but after seeing this I HAD to order a Frankie magazine and the Flow for book lover's book. I want the Flow magazine, too, but I'm going to wait for now! Thanks for feeding my addiction, Shannon! (Sigh)
Umm..yeh.. thanks Shannon. I just ordered a bundle of 5 back issues of Hi-Fructose LOL. That magazine was so awesome and weird! I had never heard of it. Love watching you harvest lol. For some reason, tearing images out of magazines relaxes me!
Ohhhhh.... I'm watching you put some wonderful things in the trash pile. I'd absolutely pay postage for the whole trash pile if it isn't already gone!!
From the moment you opened that Hi-Fructose magazine, I was in love... i MUST have one of those... im imagining there is a website or something? I love it!!! And when you turned to the skull page... OH MY GAWD! I love it!
+Pink Poodle Crafts You can find print issues in book stores or order them online but you can't subscribe. Look for back issues here: store.hifructose.com/
Hi Shannon--I too love Flow magazine and haven't been able to tear one apart yet. I've never seen Hi Fructose before but it looks very cool. Love your vids and watch them all but haven't commented for a long time. Take care
I LOVE all those magazines!!! Trouble is...I have about 8 binders FULL of images and get magazines all the time. I REALLY need to start using them up. LOL
OMG I want to purchase from you that art dork!!!! so fab!!!! Love that hi fructose! Unfortunately they no long no have printed copies.... but I was looking at them and it's CRAZY because one of the artist that I was going to research this year is printed in the last copy that they offer!!! So just HAD to get that!!! Love it!
+Crafting Vicky I think you can still buy the Printed Copies in Stores, I just think they quit the subscription of print copies, plus amazon has some print copies as well! :D
I had so much fun going through this magazine with you, I don't know if I could've gotten rid of any of it. I wonder if I can find a copy of that edition somewhere, off to hunt!! xoxo kelli
+MsDreamcakes I looked into it but travel isn't possible for me right now, unfortunately. I don't know of anyone who has gone so I've not really heard anything about it from a source that I trust. But...I think most of these types of things are beneficial at least in some ways, otherwise they wouldn't be so dang huge!
+Michelle M at LadyBlueStudios Yes, I used to pick it up regularly when I worked in graphic design. I think I still have 1 old issue on my shelf that I just couldn't bear to cannibalize!
+sadiejosiemom Here's the way I look at it. If I drop a $20 for a magazine and end up with 5-10 images...that might not be worth it. That doesn't mean I wouldn't do it again but I sure wouldn't do it regularly. But when it comes to Frankie & Flow, I'm keeping dozens and dozens of pages from those magazines, sometimes keeping more than I throw away. That's a lot of bang for your buck!
Shannon...I just went to get my Oklahoma travel brochures and I'm not sure how long it's been an option but, under the "how did you hear about us" category, there is a 'RUclips Video' choice. I'd like to think that's ALL your doing! LOL!
+doyleslady LOL I wish I could take the credit but there is at least one Oklahoma travel related RUclips channel. In fact here's a video about the artist who designed that fabulous tooled leather looking cover for last year's guide: ruclips.net/video/3SShVohxPLI/видео.html
Woohoooooooo I'm not the only ADHD/ADD/HYPERACTIVE !!!!!!!! Just luv ur tutorials u r s dow t earth n natural it's such a pleasure t. An avid watcher whom a subbie from Western Australia down sout in Busselton between the beach n the bush:)):)):)).
I bought a Hi-Fructose mag Once. Mine has a lot more gory and very strange pictures in it than this. I've never even picked another one up and flipped through it at the store. I'm going to have to go find it and do what you're doing and rip out the pages that I like which are probably only about 3. lol Oh well.
True story about loud tv and men: I 'used' to be a soft speaker. I walked into a US Cellular store to pay my bill. After I said "Hi"......Everyone in the place ducked and hit the floor looking for the bomb. I go around like a loud tv is playing in my brain and I can't adjust my own volume. I'm my own secret weapon. LMAO
I'm using a massive amount of willpower to not buy any of those magazines. The "High Fructose" mag is fantastic. I want it, but I won't do anything but hoard it, so I won't buy it. Do you hear me? I WILL NOT BUT IT! (sure)
LOL Well crap, yes we did! I have answered that question no less than 20 times over the past few days so I'm losing track of who I've already talked to!
Harvesting magazines! I love it!

+Cherie Hayes I hear ya!
Hey girl! Have you thought about going to Playlist Live this year? I would love to but I don't know if it would be a good thing?
+MsDreamcakes I looked into it but travel isn't possible for me right now, unfortunately. I don't know of anyone who has gone so I've not really heard anything about it from a source that I trust. Wonderful images! I hate to spend $15-20 for magazines to rip up. I guess I need to get over that...
+sadiejosiemom Here's the way I look at it. If I drop a $20 for a magazine and end up with 5-10 images...that might not be worth it. Looks like you need me to send some more Frankie fodder.
+Ros Jones Most definitely! ;)

+Debbie Woten Ha! Sometimes those 3 are worth it :)
That's true.
I think the meat is the messagein Mark Rydell’s work. Or maybe not ...?
Yeah the meat thing is really bizarre yet intriguing :)
Rather than have to choose between two sides why not scan one side and print it that way you can use both
+Aimee Shockcor I am not a fan of photocopied ephemera. I like the texture and finish of the original.
I agree, its was just a thought for when both sides are amazing lol
True story about loud tv and men: I 'used' to be a soft speaker. I walked into a US Cellular store to pay my bill.
